Great hotel in Sultanahmet area. It's right next to Sirkeci train station (just remember to take exit A).
The breakfast was excellent, the service was really amazing and very generous. They kindly helped book us a cheap taxi to the hotel with a flat rate.
Nothing more we wanted for our stay in Istanbul.

Slight downside: The room was quite small, but I felt the space was well utilized. Though you might struggle with keeping large suitcases bags open. Also the sound is not well insulated.

Very nice stay and perfectly located to walk to all the main attractions or easily take the public transportation. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only complaint was the shower that needed some minor repairs. Other than that the breakfast was great and overall room was lovely.

Barbera hotel was a late booking for me as I changed my flight dates and had to book an extra night's hotel stay. This place exceeded my expectations - location was very convenient and nothing was too much for the staff who went above and beyond. I felt safe as a female solo traveller and the front desk was very helpful in answering all my questions. It definitely exceeded my expectations and I'd happily stay again. Thank you!

If I had to use only one word to describe Barbera hotel, "exceptional" would be it. Although the hotel is located right in the middle of a hectic and touristy area, the corner on which the hotel is situated is quiet. The sound proofing is so good that we didn't even realize that there was a construction site not far from the hotel. We were overwhelmed by the welcome we received, and the hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

Breakfast was really good, and we were pleasantly surprised to discover that the selection of dishes changed during our stay.

There is plenty of other nice stuff about the hotel that I'm maybe forgetting, but what we'll never forget is the amazing hotel staff. Everyone, including the owner of the hotel, were genuinely welcoming, friendly, and super helpful. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. And it really did feel like they are doing it not because it's their job, but because they are all really nice people.

I won't name anyone by name, because I don't have their permission, but a huge and heart-felt thank you to each and everyone of them for making our stay an unforgettable experience!

What can I say, this is one of the best hotels we stayed in. The most accommodating people I found in the whole Europe, the breakfast was wonderful, rooms, beautiful and clean. I give them 10 out of 10 for everything. And I will be back next year. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to all the staff and management.

Nice, family-run hotel. Perfectly located to visit all the tourist sites by foot. Cozy breakfast room. Very good quality of breakfast. Service was extraordinary.

We were greeted by a staff who were absolutely friendly and courteous from the beginning. The rooms were clean on arrival with everything needed being provided (hygiene products, safe lock). The hotel provides a well working internet connection and a mini bar and a delicious breakfast are also offered.

This is a nice small boutique hotel that provided very good service. The staff do their best to serve, and at breakfast, Murat did his best to please.
When departing, Sarjan was a great help with getting me and the suitcases to the taxi, which was a challenge due to the very heavy traffic.
The rooms are nice and fresh, and while not the Ritz, if provided a very nice experience. Wifi worked well.
The hotel is in a quiet part of the old city, providing for a peaceful stay. Happy to visit again next time when in Istanbul. Thank you.

Wow what an exceptional place! Small enough that it feels like you’re visiting family but still all the high end finishes of a large hotel. The servers including Mubat really made us feel special going to new levels of effort to ensure our time was memorable! Love this place!

Superb location, amazing staff, comfortable rooms. One block from the hustle and bustle of all of Istanbuls must see locations, but down a side street so it is extremely quiet in your room.

The staff are beyond friendly, they treat ypu like a guest in their own home. We hung out drinking tea with them in the evenings and they gave us help with scheduling our sightseeing through reputable and affordable ways.

I will never stay anywhere else in Istanbul
