Very nice hotel 🏨 and very friendly staff including front office, breakfast maker and cleaners. The rooms are very nice and very clean. It is situated close to metro 🚇 and bus 🚌 station in the front of Kerateio Golf and it has sea view 🪟 rooms. In the same time the breakfast and their taverna have very very nice foods. In a word it was a wonderful experience to stay here. 🔝🔝🔝

Initial room provided was dirty and had a random ladder in, second day was moved to another room but only had one socket working. Made it an issue that I had come a day after my bookkng and made it feel as they were doing me a favour to provide me a room. There was music and noise through till midnight during my stay so I would not recommend if you are in need for early night. The breakfast was very basic and ended up just having coffee and main breakfast outside.

The food is delicious, the location is great, close to the train station and attractions, but not crowded.
The room is lovely, the view is beautiful, and the owner is friendly.
The only downside is there's no elevator.

A beautiful, old-fashioned hotel with wooden floors, right by the sea. The rooms are quite small, but the decorations are thoughtful. The soundproofing is terrible; walking upstairs feels like an earthquake downstairs. The lack of an elevator is inconvenient. Overall, it was a comfortable stay. It's a few minutes' walk to the Balat district, a beautiful, colorful area. Istanbul itself is beautiful. The Bosphorus ferry is highly recommended.

Old world charm, wonderful setting, new world service and superb food - Troya Hotel Balat provides excellent value for money. The neighbourhood is full of great shops and restaurants. It is my first preference when in Istanbul.

Nice experience. Location was great easily accessible and near public transport. Had many restaurant nearby, staff was nice and friendly. The room was clan and tidy👍🏻

Troya is an absolute gem. The room was smallish but very clean and quiet. The hospitality and warm welcome we experienced was so delightful, and the main floor restaurant with stunning view of the Golden Horn was the best part of our stay. Traditional Turkish breakfast was delicious and available from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. and the supper menu was great too. We highly recommend this lovely little hotel.
