Gold Hotel in Istanbul

DONT BOOK HERE*I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The pictures showcased on their website do not match reality at all. The food looked so bad .Upon entering our room, we were met with a terrible smell that was incredibly off-putting. To make matters worse, the air conditioning was not functioning, which made our stay even more uncomfortable. The staff was also very rude and unhelpful, adding to the frustration of the situation. I was particularly dismayed to see people smoking in the lobby and hallways, which is not only unprofessional but also creates an unpleasant environment for guests.

WATCH OUT VERY BAD**This hotel is disgusting when we first arrived the men that work at this hotel are standing on the door hanging out with cigarettes not one word of English air con doesn't work room had a very very bad smell rude staff bad hotel

The room was very clean , they changed sheets and towels every day, we were very close to metro and bus station and the breakfast was acceptable.
But , I didn't found the staff and especially the reception friendly. They didn't gave me the sense of welcoming and hospitality.
One other negative thing is the Hotel's location.
Personally I didn't like it very much , even if is very close to metro, tram and tourist sights like Kapali Carsi .
I can tell you for sure that Istanbul has much much better locations to choose to stay..

extremely bad service, the man at the reception has no sense of good service. wrong man in the wrong place, he should be put away from the guests. you should put him as a cleaner or door opener.
