The beds are comfy, the rooms are clean. The jacuzzi is cold, the sauna barely works. They pretend not to speak english when one goes with a problem to them. And one can have a lot here. Fe. the college didnt say the true price of the beers from the bar, you here the 4x price at the reception at checking out.

We stayed at this hôtel 4 nights beggining january.
First of all the rooms seemed okay but then saw the electricity in the bathroom was broken, the door lock of the bathroom was nearly falling and the bed cover of a double bed was for one person!
The breakfast was good.
The worst of it all was during the last night someone entered our room by mistake at 2am. When we complained the next morning, no apologies were made and we are unable to have any contact with them since to ask for at least an explanation for this incident (with the vidéos from the caméras in the hall)... Maybe even a compensation as this is inacceptable for a hotel!

I had a really bad experience at this hotel. After a long day, you expect to return to your room and rest, but at around 2:00 p.m. there were children yelling loudly outside. When I informed the reception, I was told that there is no rule requiring guests to be quiet after a specific hour. This response was disappointing and the situation was not handled properly.

I have a very bad experience…the manager (the short round one) is very upset all the time and always tries to make you feel guilty for the broken parts from the hotel room. We just arrived at the hotel and the shower head was broken (we never used It), and when we announced that at the reception, but he just put it in out checkoutr bill. We also asked for some pans (because we had a kitchen in our rented apartment) and he delayed us for 4 days.. when he finaly delvered it, he just said some bulgarian words (guess he sweared) and leave. Worst experience ever in a booking. I will never come back and i will never recomand this accomodation.

The breakfast was quite good, offering a decent variety to satisfy your appetite. A few items on the menu changed daily, which added a nice touch of variety. Overall, I would say it's good value for money.

The hotel's location is both a strength and a drawback. While it's centrally located in the heart of the market area with metro and bus stations nearby, the surroundings are extremely busy and chaotic. This often results in long waiting times for taxis, which can be inconvenient.

The room and bathroom were both quite small, and the overall space felt a bit cramped. There is a pool located in the basement, but it’s fairly basic and not particularly inviting—especially at night, when the area can feel a bit unsettling.

If you're looking for a place just to spend the night and get some sleep, this hotel could be a suitable option. However, if you're hoping to relax and enjoy amenities like a spa or other services, I wouldn’t recommend it.

While the hotel is centrally located, the surrounding area is very chaotic, which can make the experience less comfortable.

Room is very comfortable, and almost luxury feel. Everything is in good conditions, and all have been accommodated. Good breakfast and great deals.
Shout out to Huseyin who is a very brilliant individual who has welcome myself and my friends to our first time in Turkey for 3 days. Great location hub as the capital of Turkey at the heart of Istanbul city centre!

The worst hotel Iv ever stayed in in my whole 33 years of being alive! When I got there there was a misunderstanding with the booking I had to pay an additional £70 for a room. I’m a women travelling from the UK all on my own I was so tired I’d been up all night I was in tears at the reception and the guy at the desk was laughing at me and talking about me in Turkish to his colleagues it’s the worst experience Iv ever had. The air con doesn’t work. You open the curtain to look out the window and it’s just a concrete wall. Prisoners get better views from there cell! I asked reception for a recommendation for something to eat they walked me across the road to Aksu Restaurant it was £46 for my kebab and salad and an extra £9 for a glass of wine which was disgusting I couldn’t eat or drink it it was that bad. I felt like they was all in it together to rip me off because I was a tourist. I asked for an iron every day they never brought one, they kept saying it’s coming but it did not ever arrive. The sauna and steam room was out of order. Also the jacuzzi didn’t not work it was ice cold. I went in the swimming pool and there was beard hair floating around in it. I stayed for 5 nights and my room didn’t get cleaned till the 4th night and they didn’t even change the sheets they just made the bed when they did eventually clean it after me complaining. Didn’t feel safe in the area 2 men followed me back to my hotel from McDonald’s do not recommend anyone stays here or in this area. I hope I help someone have a better experience in Istanbul then I did. I can’t wait to get home.

My stay at the Aspen Hotel Istanbul was simply unforgettable! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the team, who showed professionalism and kindness throughout my entire stay.

The breakfast service was truly an experience: every morning, Cagla and the rest of the team greeted me with a warm smile, making each day start on a wonderful note. The variety and quality of the food were outstanding, with a delicious selection that catered to all tastes. It was so reassuring to feel that every detail was thoughtfully arranged for our comfort.

At the reception, Huseyin, Turan and Onur were incredibly efficient and friendly. They were always available, ready to answer any request and share valuable tips to help explore Istanbul. Their dedication and warmth left a lasting impression on my stay you can tell they truly love their work and are passionate about creating exceptional moments for their guests.

Thanks to them and the entire team, my stay in Istanbul exceeded all my expectations. I’m leaving with wonderful memories and a deep appreciation for this hotel. I wholeheartedly recommend the Aspen Hotel Istanbul to anyone seeking a serene and welcoming experience, with a team that genuinely cares. A huge thank you to Cagla, Huseyin, Turan, Onur, and everyone else for their hospitality and kindness!

Hot water was not working 1 morning so our entire tour group had to use cold water. AC unit was not working and they could not accommodate with anything because they were fully booked. Beds and pillows feel pretty hard compared to other hotels. Wifi is slow even at like 1 in the morning when nobody uses it. Some showers have black stuff near the edges and corners of the shower, possibly mold? Breakfast has very limited choices. Water came out yellow one night. The hotel was close to the Aksaray metro station.

Very pleasant stay, close to attractions and metro, brekfast was fine, room was pleasant, only downside was bathroom shower floor is very slipperywhen wet, I slipped cutting my arm on the glass screen, a anti slip mat is needed in the shower. Staff were pleasant and friendly.
