Rooms are okay. Breakfast has limited options and they charge a lot for any extras.
The hotel does not turn on the air conditioning upto mid may irrespective of how hot it may get. According to me that's ridiculous!
Location is good. Close to Kabatas and taksim. Can see Bosphorus from some of the rooms.

It was a nice place

Pros:
Location - any transport within walking distance, including the Kabatash pier. Walking distance to Istiklal, Galata Tower, etc. There are shops and cafes nearby.
Amenities in the room - everything you need is there, there were no problems with water, service via QR code
Cleanliness - cleaned every day, towels changed
Breakfast is excellent and quite varied. Vegetables, fruits, cheeses, eggs, sausages, salads, cereals, milk, toppings, jams, muffins, tea, coffee, cocoa.
The staff is friendly, some speak Russian. They will always help you when you contact us.
Minuses:
Noisy - disco in the hotel. On the top floor there is a bar where parties and discos are held every day. You can hear it on all floors and surroundings. Loud music, group songs, clatter of heels (my room was on the 3rd floor, the bar was on the 6th floor, you could hear everything)
Soundproofing - in the morning the staff can be heard outside the room door, my room was near the elevator, the hum and creaking of the elevator when using it caused slight discomfort.
Overall everything is good. The hotel is located in a quiet area. If it weren't for disco, everything would be great.
The administration should think about additional bonuses for guests as compensation for night noise.

Hotel is decent. If you don't need luxury, this place might be for you. Decent rooms, but definitely need renovation. Rooms are very clean. Stuff was making our rooms every day. Breakfast was tasty, enough to be full. Hotels stuff is very friendly. Hotel is close to Taksim and Kabataş. (Mind hills) Unfortunately, there is a club on the rooftop. Every night party won't allow you to sleep until 1:30 at night. The building is shaking literally cuz of loud music. Our stay wasn't such bad, but we came back home tired cuz of lack of sleep. The every morning view from the window quenched our nighttime frustration.

There is a club on the roof, and the party is open until 2 o'clock.

Very poor hotel. You need to go up and down the mountain to get to the hotel. It's very steep. It's not suitable for traveling. Don't go there.

Room is small, old and noisy
24.09.2023 Geoffrey
Very loud music every day until 1am, with the room bar on the 6th floor. Impossible to sleep before 1.30 am, from Monday to Sunday.

A good hotel with a convenient location, the only pity is that the entrance to the panoramic restaurant on the roof is closed (breakfasts are served below, not with a view of the Bosphorus). Everything else is great!

I love that it is in the heart of the city, located in a very convenient spot at the Taksim. I also should mention that the service was all-around great and recommendable. Clean and fresh rooms, friendly staff exceeded my expectations. Can't wait to stay here again!

We chose this hotel due to its location (10 minutes walk from Taksim square, which is a great area), and that the hotel had a pool, whilst being affordable. The hotel met all expectations and scored high in bed and pillow comfort. The room was maybe a tad warn and the road noise was quite loud 24/7 (but it is in the busy city centre! And we were the road side, not the quieter riverside) but the roof top terrace has beautiful views, the staff were really nice and our overall satisfaction we felt at this hotel will certainly make us consider staying again. I'd recommend a room with a river view, going to a drink on the terrace and a walk into taksim square.

Rooms are medium and clean. Servise is very atentive, friendly, hepful and dont bother you. Location is ideal for travelers- taxim square is near and place is quite. Kabatash dock is 15-20 min by foot and you are in fairy wich takes you- either beahiktash, kadikoy or eminonu. (Its under construction but works) meteo station - from where you go all over the istanbul. And+ short road wich leads you even on Sisli. Near is a park and consert amphitheatre- where we go for evening conserts (that was a reason why we stay there) breakfast is nice. Thay have a swiming pool (3*7m,) gym… and roof top restourand. In the side is 2n normal restourant as well.

The property was in a great area for my trip objectives. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff and service were great. Every staff member I encountered was very friendly, professional, and attentive. I especially want to mention Hayri and Erdal for their assistance when I had a couple of specific requests. I found the Opera Hotel Bosphorus a wonderful choice.

My family had a wonderful stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and clean, and our view of the Bosphorus was simply amazing! My family enjoyed breakfast, which had a nice variety of foods. We also had room service, which was quick and tasty. The proximity of the hotel to Taksim was great. Highly recommend staying here!
