Reviews
The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, very clean. The bed is comfortable (and we are usually very picky lol), the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
In the room we were first given, the shower was unfortunately mounted way too low - my 180cm tall husband could absolutely not fit underneath it (you could see this room on the photos). But since we were a group of people and booked several rooms, we just switched between each other and the other room did not have such a problem.
The breakfast was okay, but be very careful eating on the outside terrace - the view is absolutely stunning, but seagulls steal your food immediately 😂
The street where the hotel is located is very quiet - we slept amazing at night, no noise at all. On the other hand, you have to walk quite a lot to get to decent restaurants, as the ones around the hotel are ridiculously overpriced and not even tasty. But for us, good sleep was more important, because we’ve seen how noisy some other hotels were… besides, you should be prepared to walk a lot each day in Istanbul anyway))
Overall, a great experience, I would gladly recommend this hotel!
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the bathrooms were spacious, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The breakfast was varied and fresh, offering a great start to each day.
The location is unbeatable – just a short walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, making it perfect for exploring the historic heart of the city.
The staff were always friendly and attentive, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay.
If this hotel fits within your budget, look no further – it’s a fantastic choice for a memorable stay in Istanbul.
For the whole duration of the stay we have been treated very kindly and they helped with advice or even umbrellas for entire day to make sure we can visit the city without a stress.
Due to a late flight, we needed a place to stay for another few hours and they were more than happy to accommodate us for a reduced fee, which was kind and helpful.
The room was clean every day and we had everything we needed during our stay (hair dryer, etc)
- The room itself was quite small - this is the only caveat.
Very very good cleaning of the rooms.
Very nice receptionist that explained us how to get to Asian side and explained us half day trip with "Sea and Land travel agency". You can pay at the reception with the cash and they pick you up at the hotel. Other two receptionists didn't speak english that good but they were always there to help if needed.
One big minus is that sound insulation on the windows is very very very bad. It's like the windows are open, that's why we left 4/5.
One other thing - I think when we booked the hotel (9 nights) there was written that we will get extra large bed(>2m), but the bad was small ( I would say about 200×160 cm) - pretty small
1. The beds were very uncomfortable, the room I stayed at, my bed had a dent in the middle… that’s how old the bed was. It sunk in and i woke up with back pain every morning due to the bed. Also the bedsheets were very rough, it felt very cheap and made my skin itchy.
2. I had a very rude encounter with the lady who was taking care of bfast every morning. I took a few honey packets as I was sick during my stay, I wanted to have honey with my tea in my room later, so I took a few honey packets with me. The lady came to my table and yelled at me for taking 2-3 honey packets. I’m not sure why she thought it would be okay for her to speak to a hotel guest like that. She also kept watching me like a hawk every time I got up to get food. Speaking of food, the bfast was old and stale every morning. Everything tasted really old, nothing was fresh except the fruits and cucumbers. I expected to have some fresh bread at the very least but that was also stale.
3. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The location is central, it is about a 10 min walk to the blue mosque and other attractions in Sultan Ahmet area. I also had a very nice encounter with the receptionist, he was really friendly and helpful.
I would suggest staying at another hotel near by the area, there are lots of options with better prices.
