We booked a hotel room through the website. We arrived at the place, and the person at the reception told us that he could not give to us a room, and demanded additional money for each booked night in the amount of 50 euros. We contacted the support service on the website, and only after that the problem was resolved. But we were placed in a room without windows and was a strong smell of cigarettes, there was no hot water in the faucet, and the room was very cold, and the air conditioner was only working on cooling. It feels like you live in a basement every day…

Grand Hisar Hotel is the most horrible hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I was deceived because I originally booked another hotel. When I arrived at the hotel with my booking confirmation, I was told that the hotel was overcrowded and moved me to a hotel nearby (definitely tell another story about how these hoteliers cheat).
It was Grand Hisar Hotel. Absolute disrespect to the customer who pays money. The room as well as shower room were quite dirty, old furniture. Moreover, mold in shower room. Absolute unsanitary (photos attached). No isolation from the street, at night it is impossible to sleep because of the noisy Istiklal Street.
I’ve spent only one night there and it was awfully.
Do not recommend staying at Grand Hisar Hotel and pay your own money for such terrible accommodation and bad attitude to the customer.

One of the biggest ever bad experience and guys the hotel manager and management are involved in the biggest scammer. I had this experience just yesterday night 2/6/2024. They are just for money. They are down the turkish people nothing else.

Nice hotel, good location, close to bus links to the airport. Clean room, excellent service. Staff very nice and welcoming. Will definitely stay again!

The rooms were very small we didn’t have a place to walk.
Even the bathroom was so small
The bed was so tiny we couldn’t sleep normally with the stres if we fall to the ground in the middle of night.
The staff wasn’t friendly at all
The breakfast wasn’t tasty and it didn’t have option to choice
The walls were very thin we heard every noise outside our room
And this place was like burdelo there were a line of men’s waiting to get massage by two women’s
I can say that is not a place to go with your family
The only good thing was the internet
And that this motel was in the city center

From our warm welcome by mr Nadir to the impeccable recommendations and clean room! Every detail was perfect. The attentive staff went above and beyond, and the serene atmosphere made for a truly rejuvenating stay. The location was perfect for exploring Istanbul! We were so pleased and look forward to returning.

Amazing Hotel, was here in October 2024 with my family and they treated me with amazing care, amazing food and a friendly atmosphere. Even though it was a bit compact all rooms were all clean and always managed to help us when we first entered the country and left. Helped us organise stuff to do around Istanbul like cruises across the ocean and more and was more then a service but was a good friend. Excellent choice if your staying in Istanbul.

This is my first time visiting Istanbul and I am very happy with the conditions of this hotel.
Overall maximum grade.
For perfectionists you will probably always find many disadvantages, but if you want a hotel placed in a very good area, with a very good breakfast buffet, at a very good price and with a staff worthy of appreciation - I highly recommend this hotel.
I've been here for 3 days and I'll stay a few more days.
One mistake on the part of the receptionist (For which I have all the respect and I give it the highest grade for kindness) was that he passed me the POS payment note in Turkish lira instead of the euro conversion and initially I paid much less than I should have to pay.
They checked later and it was fixed immediately.
All respect for the reception and the people in the kitchen.
I read several reviews before choosing this hotel and many of the negative reviews are not true. The hotel has been renovated and is still being refurbished.
Grade 10 from me. I am convinced that the staff does everything possible to make you feel at home. 🇹🇷🇹🇩
