I would especially like to thank Ms. Mahire from the guest relations team. Thanks to her warm smile, attention, and sincere approach, we truly felt special throughout our stay. The hotel’s food was an experience on its own; the flavors were carefully prepared, the presentations were elegant, and every meal was a pleasure. In the evenings, the ambiance with soft lighting and a peaceful atmosphere created a truly romantic setting. This hotel is definitely a great choice for those who want to relax and create beautiful memories.

We stayed at the hotel from October 6th to 15th. This is our third trip to Alanya – we really liked the city hotel. It's very cozy and clean. The food is good, maybe not particularly fancy, but you won't go hungry. There's always meat, fish, fruit, and vegetables. There's a coffee shop where you can get ice cream, cakes, tea, coffee, and juices. The pool and beach bars also offer snacks. There's entertainment in the evenings, or more accurately, concerts. The city center is within walking distance, or you can take the free shuttle. The only downside is the rocks on the seabed, but that's a characteristic of Alanya. The rooms are cleaned daily, and there's a minibar with juices, water, and beer. Tea sets and a kettle are also included. I really liked it. I recommend it to everyone.

We liked the hotel. It's obviously not new, but everything is clean and they clean it regularly. The room has a free minibar - water, mineral water, Fanta, Cola, and beer! A very pleasant surprise! The room was nice, with a view of the main pool and the sea - we could see the sun setting. The food in the restaurant is generally monotonous, but you can choose delicious things. The snack bar is open all day - cakes and ice cream are available at any time. The lobby bar is open 24 hours. Another nice thing was that you could have a full lunch at the beach bar with a first course, delicious fish, salads, desserts, and more, all a la carte - you sit at a table, order, and they bring it to you. We also signed up for the seafood a la carte - the grilled red fish was delicious, tender and juicy. There is also an evening bar on the upper terrace - all of Alanya is at your fingertips, very beautiful. In total, the hotel counted six bars, where you can sit at different times - there was plenty to do. There are also three water park slides – we used them every day. The area is small, but there are plenty of places to relax. The hotel shuttle bus to the center of Alanya also runs on a scheduled schedule – very convenient. And of course, as usual, there are phantom tourists on the beach, occupying sun loungers with towels – when will you finally clear your head? Free spots only appeared after lunch – there were plenty of places, and people were sunbathing with towels. It's good that the beach is large and many people laid out towels on the sand, and umbrellas were available, as there were plenty. The sea is gorgeous, we snorkeled – lots of fish – it's not Egypt, but it was varied. There's a pier you can jump off. In the evening, there was some entertainment in the amphitheater, but we only went for the Turkish night. Overall, the hotel is very good for a relaxing family vacation.

Wonderful hotel! Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, delicious food, a new evening show every day, and daytime entertainment. We had a fantastic vacation!

Thanks for our holiday, but there are some important things I’d like to share so others are aware. Positives: 1. The staff is friendly and does their best to make guests happy. 2. The hotel was clean and tidy, the rooms were cleaned daily, and the towels were changed. 3. The room and balcony were cozy, quiet and peaceful in the rooms. 4. Bedding was pleasant, and the mattress was decent (a bit firm). 5. There’s a convenient underground passage leading straight to the beach. 6. And of course, Turkey itself is wonderful – the sea and the sun make up for a lot. but... I would not recommend this hotel and definitely wouldn’t want to return to. Unfortunately, before booking I didn’t look deep enough into the reviews, but I did so afterwards – and found out why. We think that at this hotel, there might be something wrong with the food provided. We don’t know if it’s the hotel’s fault or if other guests are bringing in some bacteria or viruses. I read that many guests caught it while staying at this hotel (although at first we didn’t believe it) and also: 1. We even saw someone vomit in the restaurant. 2. We spoke to other people who also got sick. 3. We heard others vomiting around us. 4. Eventually, we got sick ourselves too. What we disliked most was the cold food – even though the variety was decent, it didn’t matter if you arrived first or later. When my husband fell ill, we decided to stop eating at the hotel restaurant, as every time we walked in the smell of oil was nauseating. Instead, we went to the city for lunch (recommended: Le Chevy). The hotel itself is old and in need of renovation. Elevators were extremely slow – faster to take the stairs. In the room the hair dryer was ancient and barely worked, air conditioning functioned, but was very outdated. Wi-Fi was paid (in ultra all inclusive hotel???) It’s a pity we paid quite a lot compared to what this hotel actually offered. It was our third time in Turkey, but unfortunately the first unsuccessful one. Tip: Always read reviews before booking. If you see many reports of food poisoning, avoid such hotels – the chances are high that you’ll get sick too (even if you wash and disinfect your hands).

Stayed at the grand Kaptan for 7 nights. Service - When we arrived we were greeted well and our bags taken up to our room and given a welcoming drink. We checked in late but there was food to offer in midnight soup. Throughout our stay all the members of staff we interacted with were very polite and helpful. Special mentions to Mustafa and Ebra (there were more but we didn’t get there names). The service for the meals were efficient and tables cleared quickly as well and drinks replenished.overall the staff and service were very good. Also when we interacted with customer relations they were very helpful and attentive so a thumbs up for the support. Food - During our stay we had no issues with the opportunity to get some food with it available throughout the day. We really like that there was the Turkish pie staff during the day as well and a BBQ at 15:30 -16:30 (expect Sunday). We never once felt hungry and the selection of foods were good during breakfast, lunch and dinner, with dinner having different options on different days. We did visit the a la carte restaurant and the service was very attentive and a lot of food on offer and had the opportunity to try many dishes. Amenities - We really enjoyed the pools and never experienced an issue with getting and sunbed which was positive. The pools were spacious and did not feel crowded. The slides were also a good feature and we made great use of these although not available all day but again we didn’t find this a problem and they were never to busy. We went on the beach for one day and found this nice with the beach car close by. The sea was nice but a little rocky so we did prefer the pools but the beach is definitely good if you prefer a beach to a pool and the pier was a good addition. There was paid activities on offer I.e paragliding which we didn’t do but nice for people if they wanted an adrenaline rush. There were plenty of places to chill in the evenings and we liked the moon bar on the roof as well as the lobby which had plenty of seating and again did not feel crowded. We had new towels (beach and bathroom) everyday as well as our mini bar restocked. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to the town which is good for people who want to get out and about. Entertainment- We went and sat the entertainment on most nights and this was the one thing we did find a bit lacking. Although when we were there we did enjoy ourselves it did feel a bit basic and would have liked to have had something a bit more. We also did find the host a bit questionable at times with some of the commentary. We didn’t feel that the entertainment warranting effecting the overall rating as the rest of the stay was very good. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and for. The price thought it was a very good deal and would happily recommend .

What a pleasant surprise..... We were staying in a different 5* resort hotel and thought we would book a night away for a change a change of scenery, cuisine and culture. Well, let me tell you. From the moment we arrived at the security gate, we were met with friendliness and professionalism. Once we entered the lobby, the guest relations ladies personality, friendliness and exemplary dealing with check in, confirmed straight away we had made a very good decision in choosing this hotel for our little break from the monotonous hotel we had left this morning. Albeit checking in way before normal times at 10am, we were immediately given full access to all facilities, taken to the restaurant for a second breakfast and shown around the lower levels of the establishment. From what we came from, to where we are now, the standards changed from mediocre to wowzer. So far, I cannot fault this hotel and must say, it it a true 5* star establishment, rather than one that portrays itself to be. Cocktails with complimentary branded drinks are better than most all inclusive resorts, the beer is just as cold, the breakfast variety is outstanding and the fact it's right by the brach, is all part of what should be experienced when booking a holiday with your hard earnt money.

We had an amazing time at the grand kaptan. The food was great even my picky children managed to find food they like. The pools are very nice. Well maintained. If you visit take a trip downstairs for a massage with wiwin. I felt like if had 10 years of tension removed and well worth the Money. The staff very friendly and helpful from the desk through to the cleaners. There is so much to do here. From the beach just the other side of the underpass. With waiter service at the beach bar, lovely coffee area, spa. Gym. The night time entertainment is held in a valadrome I would say that the coffee area and the sports area would host entertainment better as you can sit properly and have a drink and meet others. We only went to 2 of these nights as we just found that part uncomfortable. That's not to say that the entertainment team don't do a fab job. Just the location could be in a better place.

It’s an okay all inclusive hotel, you have everything you need except the wifi (exclusive). It’s a perfect place to relax by the pool and beach with entertainment in the evening (except Sunday). The food is also okay, lots of things to try. The free shuttle bus service is also a plus, but to be honest there’s nothing much to see for us in the city so it can get pretty boring very fast. Our best experience so for in this hotel was the hammam+peeling+mix therapy massage! The service was so nice when we came in for an appointment we were welcomed so nicely by a man and a woman by reception. The day of the spa we were treated by Miya and Ayu they are the best. The service here was excellent. My body feels so relaxed right now. It was worth it! So it’s a big recommendation!

I’m writing this review while we wait for our transfer to go back to the UK. Sadly our holiday is over but we will never forget the wonderful memories we had in the last week. This hotel is beautiful and every person who works here treat you as the king/queen Turkish people extremely kind and funny with children. We really enjoyed the water park, the pool bar, the Turkish bread, the beach, the cafe next to the big pool and last but not least the restaurant. We have had many beautiful, tasty meals with great variety. We had the privilege to go the ala carte restaurant which was the cherry on the top. Just amazing! I would like to say a special thank you for some staff members. Ozlem, the guest manager with her beautiful smile always here to help. Mustafa, a real gentleman who treated us with the best service. Tayfun, Cennet and Derya for making us delicious Turkish breads every day. Ibrahim, Nagihan and Saime from the pool bar serving us exceptionally with a big smile all day. Sedat and Tayvun from the entertainment team who relentlessly making fun with children and adults. Lastly my favourite person, Mehmet who cleans the area around the pools-wonderful man,I’m really glad to know you. Tessekurler❤️ We will definitely return here. Gorosuruz! Lots of love to you all, Marianna
