Kaptan Hotel in Alanya

Hotel not very good location food ok I was on holiday last week one week was enough entertainment was none loads of kids running about i got food poisoning on Tuesday hotel food one day wasted in bed sick on the Wednesday reported this to the hotel manager asked were the easyJet rep was just a q a code no life guard at the pools either my one week holiday with family ruined got talking to another person his wife was ill with food poisoning oh dear 😅 don’t know how many more tourists were I’ll I lost my appetite at this hotel just wanted to get home the air port was a shambles the hotel management were no help at all my advise don’t book this hotel Wi-Fi is not free it’s extra we wasted 3 thousand pounds never again to alanya this hotel is not a four star more like a two star never great hotel to over crowded floors very slippery lifts always not working staff very pleasant management don’t want to know when something goes wrong easyJet are as bad

Honestly, we were looking forward to stay at Kaptan since we had such a great time a few years back. It was a great hotel back then. WAS. However, this time around it was less than pleasant. The hotelroom’s minibar on the entirely of the 4th floor was out of order. They tried to switch the fridge but to no use. In the Alanya heat the fridge is very essential. We had to use the waitstaff almost 4 x day to get ice and COLD water. At a certain point they started to become much slower at bringing the ice and water. 45 minute wait is crazy. For COLD water. On top of that the roomservice operators were mad rude. You could barely muster out what you wanted before they would hit you with “okay.” and hang up on you. I give them 2 stars purely because of the location and the pool. We will give them the benefit of the doubt and say we perhaps came at a wrong time for the hotel. We will try again next year and hopefully they have straightened it up by then. I will keep you updated.
