Reviews
Lots of chargeable hidden extras, poorly maintained rooms ( room cleaner was lovely) but no excuse for stained walls, bargain basement bedding and pillows.
If you are hoping for a relaxing week or so in the sun waited on with al inc drinks. Best of luck. Sunbeds (if you are lucky to get one not in the shade) are few and far between. People reserving several in different locations so they can ‘chase the sun’. Drinks are shockingly poor quality.
Mr Dogruoz, if you’re still the general manager. You should be totally embarrassed. Responsibility, respect, decency and customer service starts at the top. Maybe spend so time out of your office, have a walk about, and speak to all ‘guests’ of all ages and all persuasions. Then act on real reviews.
The cleaning was good in our apartment. The room was dirty and the curtains were partially hanging off the curtain rod.
The food was quite good but unfortunately cold.
We addressed all issues to reception and spoke with management about moving hotel, only offered a few £100 as a refund to move so was just not feesable due to staying here for 10 nights.
I have listed the pros and cons below so you have an overall view of the hotel as i feel it is not interpreted properly.
Pros -
* Cheap stay
* Food is ok - range of salad- burgers - Turkish dishes and soups. However most was pretty cold and the same everyday (If you want fresh food make sure you are there as soon as it opens)
* Massages were amazing and were lovely people.
* Lots of cats (positive for us)
* Music is good around pool.
Cons -
* Rude staff - mainly think it’s because we are women, the men were very sarcastic and felt like they were just making jokes all the time. - staff are Condescending and bigoted.
* Sardine-like sun beds
* Toxic alcohol unless you pay for premium
* Eveything costs extra (beach sunbeds, umbrellas, WiFi, safety deposit box)
* No entertainment apart from Friday and Monday - other than that there’s nothing.
* Rooms extremely dated - dirty walls and wood coming away from door frames.
* Bedsheets are like blankets had to ask for sheets - pillows are lumpy and uncomfortable.
* Aircon is only in one area of the room and is either freezing or boiling
* Very noisy- walls are paper thin.
* Shower is made for small child or a very petite person (and we are not large).
* The smaller pool is great however covered in dried bird poo around one side of it and lots of leaves and flies all the time, they don’t clean or brush it other than once or twice a week.
* Bring sleep masks!! blinds let all light through, it might aswell be daytime at 1-2 in the morning.
There is also more than one pool area but they don’t tell you that, it is only small pool however nice and quiet. But as I said before the floor area isn’t clean at all.
Only person who worked here that interacted was the us was the room cleaner Nuray who did a good job every day and was kind and helpful.
Pictures that are advertised don’t depict what hotel is actually like, small amount of rooms have been done up but the rest are old and dated.
Sun comes to pool area at 12pm and goes at 18:30pm (however pool closes at 6pm so they can set up More tables for evening dining area outside)
Smaller pool on other side of hotel gets sun at 11:30ish and goes about 3-3:30pm.
About a 15 min walk to main streets where bars and restaurants are or 20-30 mins to the beach we tended to use the e-scooters (BEAM).
We are both late 20s and British felt like we were looked at as children and dismissed, also felt very outnumbered and less attended too, compared to others.
Wouldn’t surprise me if they delete this review as there seems to be no bad reviews that last more than a day or so.
The hotel waiters are friendly and understanding, and the food is decent.
The pool isn't allowed after 7:00 PM.
When I returned the day I checked out and told them I forgot my charger, they weren't very attentive.
After I insisted, they called someone to ask and said it wasn't in my room.
So, don't trust the service staff.
You can rent the safe in your room for the day; otherwise, they don't take responsibility for lost items.
The hotel has a beach, but there's a charge for sun loungers and umbrellas.
At check-in, we missed out on important information, such as details about the facilities, meal locations, and the fact that the complimentary 15-minute massage is only valid within the first 24 hours. I ended up paying for two massages before finding this out. The spa staff could also tone down the sales pitches a bit, as it took away from the relaxing experience.
The pool area is nice, but it closes already around 6 p.m., which was unfortunate during the heatwave. On two out of seven days, we couldn’t get sunbeds by the pool and had to go to the beach instead.
The food is mediocre, with a small and often repetitive selection – very child-friendly, but with little variety for adults. The bread was directly poor, and the meat could be better. Drinks were made with friendliness, but special cocktails or fresh juice cost extra.
Service could generally be improved, especially at reception. Many of the staff are young and speak poor English, which affects the experience. On the positive side, housekeeping was excellent, and the cleaning staff always made an extra effort.
The pillows were hard and lumpy, and although we booked a double bed, we received two single beds – quite disappointing for a couple. In addition, the hotel Wi-Fi only includes 2 GB during your stay, and you have to pay if you need more.
Overall, you get what you pay for – it is not a luxury hotel, and it does not fully live up to 4 stars. But with its location, beach access and friendly cleaning staff, it can still offer a pleasant stay if you manage your expectations.
The food is sub-par but what you'd expect from an all inclusive..
Staff aren't very welcoming when approached.
I injured myself on day 2 of my holiday to which I asked for the first aid kit from reception, I was met with a blank expression and an almost reluctance to help me despite bleeding badly from my foot.
The room was not clean as shown in pictures,
Curtains were all marked and ripped,
Bathroom smelt funny,
Balcony doors were open when returning to the room despite closing them prior.
Entertainment wasn't to my liking but that's personal preference..
A few live dancers with music that was way too loud
The town of Alanya is lovely, cheap to eat out (I recommend Good Vibes Restaurant) but unfortunately this hotel did disappoint.
I was supposed to be put in a superior room but this was clearly not the case and as such, I would not recommend staying at this hotel if you value your holiday experiences
From my perspective and the treatment received- I would pursue some form of refund as this was really poor from the initial start of the checking in process.
