Beachway Hotel in Side

Dirty, smell in rooms, bathroom leaking. bad bad bad! Left after seeing the property and booked a different one.

Very old rooms. Bathroom falling apart, fossette broke and leaking. One towel per person, and no beach towels! And notice name of the hotel!!! After seeing all this, we left right after check in. My bad i did not check reviews carefully before booking this place.

I booked a place for accommodation between 19-21.08.2024 from Beachway Hotel via Jolly Tur. I went to the hotel at 21:30 on 19.08.2024. Although there was a parking service at the hotel, the hotel manager Murat Bey greeted us at the door with a tank top and said there was a shared parking lot, if you find a spot, pull over. When I said there was a parking service, they defended me by saying this is a boutique hotel and asked me to leave my car on the side of the road. I asked if they would cover any fines if I was given and they said they did not have such a service. After the discussion, they found me a place. When we went to the room, the room was nothing like the ones in the photo, the whole place was a mess. I did not object to this either, but the toilet had not been cleaned and there were traces of hair and urine from the previous guests. I went back and explained my problem and asked for our room to be changed, but I got the answer that there were no available rooms. Then the guy came to clean. After wiping the toilet with a kitchen sponge, he put the sponge on the dresser where my belongings were. I told him about this situation and his defense was that I cleaned it with the other side. The fact that he cleaned the toilet with a dish sponge and a cleaner without wearing gloves and left it on the dresser created a question mark in my mind about the cleanliness of the hotel in other areas and I immediately checked the bed and towels. The towels were stained and the pillows were full of hair. At this point, I did not want to stay at the hotel and called Jolly Tur and reported the issue. I offered to find me another hotel and pay the difference. I said I have photos, but they did not take that into consideration and did not demand anything and talked to the hotel. Since the hotel manager Murat Bey did not accept such a situation, Jolly Tur neither accommodated me in another hotel nor refunded my money. However, that night my wife and I left the hotel and went to another hotel and paid for it. When we left the hotel, they did not say anything like excuse me, we apologize or anything like that.

Room we got was for 4 people, with one double bed and 2 twin/single beds, but no room for walking or opening suitcases. Bathrooms and shower were combined! You can literally sit on the toilet and wash your hair at the same time! Breakfast was only hard boiled egg, one kind of cheese, olives and bread.
Only positive was the location! Close to the beach and Apollo Temple.
