We came to Side on a super crowded day and decided last minute to stay. Çağlar at Taş Motel was super helpful. The place is close to the public beach (2 min by walk).It’s an older building, so some furniture is worn out, but for the price, it’s totally worth it. Breakfast is simple but enough. Since cars aren’t allowed in the old town, we parked up top and came down with a golf car. My wife and I loved it, and we’d totally stay again.

It was a warm and welcoming environment that brought smiles to our faces. I drove twice to a place where everyone else walked, and I felt like royalty. History oozes everywhere, and the public beach is so close. As for the shortcomings, I don't know what you'd expect from a motel. It was adequate, but the toilet, bathroom, and sink were crammed into a single 2x1m space, making it a real challenge. The refrigerator wasn't cooling. The electrical and outlet issues need to be addressed immediately.

The motel looks very beautiful from outside.

Unfortunately facilities are very bad. The tap is broken, ac filter was terrible dirty we cleaned it oursellves. Water flow is unsufficient and the bathroom lock doesnt work, even the toilet paper holder is broken. It is clean overall.

But yes, The breakfast was poor. The cheese and the olives were poor quality. Only white bread was served. We stayed for 4 nights. Only 1 day they made cheese filled fried rolls.

Wonderful place for stay. The breakfast is great and the people. Quality and price very well.

PARKING:
They say they have a private parking which was for us the main priority, then the guy tells you to park in the municipalities parking not in walking distance to hotel (if there is a space of course) then take the shuttle back.
-Btw I know he'll reply and say everyone in the area does in this way. (He was saying this to me when i was there) And for me it's quite stupid just because everyone's doing the same mistake doesn't justify your action.-
This is unacceptable basically they tricked us. We had to fight the traffic, quite fortunately found a parking lot and had to pay full night price. If I knew they didn't have a parking lot I wouldn't stayed in here.
LOCATION:
The hotel is not in the location as in the Google maps. We were almost entering someone else's house when I said this he was saying it's not their problem... I don't know how vague can people be about this.
ROOMS:
Rooms are not comfortable. Old furniture. Internet is not good. Bathroom is from another century, broken, old and small.
HOST:
Rudest host ever. He actually had fight with me and told me to go, as If I could find a place in the last minute. Even everything was perfect as if it was a 5 star hotel, i wouldn't stay this place again ever. - and yes as this man actually told me I'll never be back in here. -
