Reviews
Location is a plus point and a minus. Plus for people who wish to have a quiet stay, away from the hustle and bustle of the centre. Minus, because it is a bit of a drive from the main attractions, like Marina area, Burj Khalifa, Gold souk, etc.
Service was good, but could be better. I think the staff should be equipped with some basic information to help tourist navigate, eg, when I queried about which days were public holidays over the New Year period, not one staff was able to give a clear answer.
Breakfast was great, with a variety of options. A special shout out to Mohsin and Adrian, who, on top of being quite hospitable,, after couple of days, learnt how I took my coffee and made it without fail.
I was a bit disappointed though with packed breakfast provided. We needed to check out early and requested for a packed breakfast. We asked if egg or any other simple sandwiches could be provided, since the packed breakfast come with pastries, fruits and water (we didn't receive the latter), but unfortunately they were not included. Pastries are not healthy breakfast option, maybe the hotel can look into how they can improve that or provide some mix options to choose from.
Our overall experience was good and we would recommend and consider Aloft Dubai Creek.
