Reviews
I would like to sincerely thank all the staff for their exceptional service, kindness, and professionalism. Everyone was welcoming and always ready to help, which made the experience even more special.
I highly recommend W Dubai hotel to anyone visiting the city, and I look forward to staying here again in the future.
Special thanks to Ms. Lourdes for her incredible communication skills and for being so friendly and supportive throughout my stay
Food and facilities were excellent!
The pool lifeguards clean the pool and sun loungers daily; their hygiene standards are super strict!
However, there's a short-haired male staff member at the front desk who is very mean… I encounter him every time I visit. He often wears a white shirt with a casual suit and loves to appear impatient, scanning guests with annoyed eyes and treating them dismissively. I truly don't understand why Marriott tolerates this kind of employee consistently working at the front desk.
I recently visited W Dubai The Palm for my daughter’s birthday, and it was an amazing experience. The location, rooms, and amenities were extraordinary, but the highlight was the exceptional service. I want to specifically mention Vaishnawi at the reception desk; she did a fabulous job accommodating us by upgrading our room and perfectly understanding our needs.
The staff went above and beyond to make my daughter’s birthday extra special, and she was truly happy. The food was exquisite, and the pool bar was a lot of fun. I couldn’t stop taking lovely pictures of my daughter enjoying everything. The beach was an added bonus!
If you're looking for a place to relax and have a great time, I highly recommend visiting this property.
Thank you for this wonderful experience!
The entire team acted quickly, calmly, and with full dedication, showing a level of excellence that truly sets the W Hotel apart. I am extremely grateful for all the support I received and highly recommend the hotel with complete confidence.
My wife, our 18-month-old son, and I have just returned from a wonderful stay at The Palm Dubai, from a Saturday to Thursday, and we are already missing the incredible hospitality.
From the moment we arrived, the service was nothing short of exceptional. Every single staff member, from the friendly security team at the gate, to the warm and efficient reception, and the attentive waiters at the restaurants, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. What truly stood out for us was how kind and engaging they were with our young son. They always had a smile for him, which made the environment so comfortable for our family.
A special mention must be made for the room service team. We requested milk to be brought up to our room at various times, and no matter when we called, it was delivered promptly and with a smile. This small but crucial detail made our nights and nap times so much easier.
The amenities were fantastic – the pools were beautiful, the grounds were immaculate, and we lacked for nothing. It’s a stunning property, but it's the people that make it truly 5-star. We cannot recommend The Palm Dubai highly enough for families with young children and will definitely be returning.
I honestly didn’t like the experience at all.
First of all, the welcome was far from what you’d expect from a 5-star hotel — not warm or attentive at all.
Then, the price is absolutely exorbitant for what it is. The area is very small and crowded, there isn’t enough space to relax comfortably.
The menu is also really disappointing — not appropriate at all for a beach day. No lamb chops, no sushi, not even a proper club sandwich. The food options were really limited and far from exceptional.
What shocked me the most is that there’s nowhere proper to shower or clean up. The few available cabins are used by everyone without any cleaning in between, and the toilets were not clean at all — no staff around to maintain them.
For a 5-star hotel, this is completely unacceptable. I’m really disappointed and wouldn’t recommend the pool & beach access to anyone.
I can’t comment on the rooms since I didn’t stay overnight, but in terms of day access, it’s definitely not worth it.
However, the “all-inclusive” experience was confusing and uncomfortable. Staff frequently seemed unsure and hesitating about “all inclusive”, then benefits being sometimes not so proactively served, and we were repeatedly asked to sign receipts showing zero values — but with a tip line left open 🤨. On our first morning, we were even told to pay for water and juice because it was “before noon.” Only after speaking to the concierge was it clarified that drinks should indeed be free at any time. Additionally, the mix of loud music from both the hotel and the nearby beach club made the afternoons feel more like a party scene than a luxury resort.
One evening, a walk along the beach ended abruptly when security from the neighboring “W Residences”approached us harshly, thinking we were filming — though we were just using a stargazing app. We never stepped on their property.
In short: the facilities are impressive and the design is top-notch, but the experienced hospitality didn’t always feel genuine and clear or like a top priority. If you enjoy louder party and club music in the afternoon from two DJs at once, this is definitely your place to go — otherwise, it may not offer the relaxing 5-star “W”-experience you expect. But the hotel has the potential to be a perfect place to stay - just missed it on our four days. Last remark: next door is a construction site joining in on the two DJs 🤪. But this is nothing the hotel can solve.
