This is an older hotel. Everyone, try to book the Royal Atlantis if you can. The waterparks for both hotels are connected. If you plan to have the buffet, book early as reservations fill up quickly.

Upon arrival, we upgraded to a Palm Island view room. The staff were very attentive. Although our room on the 4th floor was a bit low, it was fine. Our child was thrilled to see the pool. Compared to Atlantis Sanya, this place is a completely different beast. The service is miles apart, and the whole concept is totally different. There are many activities, and it's very beautiful with great facilities. However, we had to call to request kids' toiletries and bathrobes. They should really be provided automatically, especially since they already have our check-in information.

An absolutely amazing experience! We got upgraded to a suite facing Palm Jumeirah for Chinese New Year, which was fantastic! The famous 'influencer pool' totally lived up to its hype, and all the recreational facilities were superb. We even had unlimited lobster at the New Year's Eve buffet. I visited the kid's room and swimming pool using a day pass. I was stunned by the luxurious and spacious balloon halls. The pool was especially impressive—huge, with a perfect water temperature for kids. Honestly, it wasn't as bad as some reviews made it sound; everything was pretty good. When I arrived, I ended up booking the only large suite with a balcony overlooking Palm Jumeirah. We enjoyed 5 nights in the kempinski hotel. However the hotel apartments do consist of quite dated room furniture. Very clean but not modern. Dubai is competitive with hotels so the overall hotel has a palace feel to it, they should definitely renovate bathrooms at least. All in all it was a good stay.

After staying in different locations in Dubai apart from the Receptionist upon check in the rest of the staff were unhelpful or could not or did not want to help or assist, frankly what are they paid for ? Especially when a compulsory service charge is being applied. A service charge should be paid on quality of the service received to encourage staff to perform. We had a wonderful experience thanks to Mr. Kishore Kotain, the F&B Manager, and his entire team. The rooms offered a beautiful sea view, and the breakfast and overall food were excellent.
