This was a bucket list for my wife as it is quoted as a seven star hotel, and yes everything there was amazing starting from the valet all the way up to the top floor of the restaurant overviewing the beautifulDubai waterline staff incredible evening was a 10 out of 10

Even after more than 20 years, the facilities don't feel old at all; classics truly stand the test of time. It's a two-story duplex, and the small bed on the first floor was already prepared for our check-in

The butler provided full-service throughout our stay. The outdoor breakfast was fantastic – varied, high-quality, and upscale. Dinner was at the underwater restaurant on the first floor, a Michelin-starred experience

Absolutely worth experiencing, simply perfect! The breakfast was exquisite. The infinity pool was amazing. The indoor pool is definitely Instagram-worthy. The Golden coffee is a must-try

You can even take the slippers home! The views are amazing, there's a private beach, and breakfast is fantastic

Even though the hotel is a bit older now, you can still feel that unparalleled sense of grandeur and exclusivity. If you ever get the chance, you absolutely must experience it; it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience

Like family rooms, for a family of 4 people (bedroom with a large bed in the second room, two lorry bed and there were 2 sofas in the room, a large dining table), comfortable

It's close to the subway station and there's a shopping mall nearby where you can eat. The only downside is that the view from the window isn't great

However, what truly made our stay incredible during a very difficult time was one person from the housekeeping department — Ajmer. Ajmer was extremely professional, friendly, and very accommodating throughout our stay

Best 2 star hotel in Deira. Gold Souq Metro station is only 10mins walk from the hotel. Staff is very good. At Reception Miss Poonam is very nice. She helped me in the late checkout. Thanks to her. And all staff..

Hotel is not large but get nice location in old Deira. Our room was with two windows, balcony and good conditioner. The restaurant is nice but we did not take meal. Metro station Gold Souk is near 20 minutes walk

Comfortable hotel but location is far from places we want to visit. A lot of taxi doesn't know how to get to the pick up and drop off point because is at the carpark underground.

It was also very cold in the room and the AC machine only offers cold option no heated services at all, when I called reception they offered an extra blanket but it was still cold and the quality and style of the room was old could be doing with upgrading this as it was all old wood oak look

I really enjoyed staying at Sonder, the staff was helpful, welcoming and incredibly accommodating at all times! Sonder has an amazing beach and pool directly out front, with good music and amazing service

Our two-bedroom apartment was spacious, perfect for 4 people and had stunning views over JBR and the sea — waking up to that skyline and beach every morning was just incredible

We did pay extra for the 4 bed apartment with sea view however we didn’t get the Dubai eye in our view as promised which was a let down, we could see part of the sea and another building as our view

The amenities within the property especially swimming pool (3 pools - kids, adults only and a family pool) were really wow. The beach access was another great feature

One of the highlights was that we were able to use the pool and facilities at the Rixos Premium Dubai, which made the stay feel even more like a five-star resort experience

Overall, it was a truly perfect stay — stylish accommodation, amazing amenities and the ideal spot to enjoy Dubai’s beach life. We’ll definitely come back next time!
