‼️‼️‼️Extremely disappointing stay – never again

This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. When we booked the hotel, there was no mention anywhere that the swimming pool would be unavailable. It was extremely disappointing to arrive and be told that the pool was under maintenance. After spending so much money on this stay, we felt completely cheated.

The food was honestly terrible. It was disgusting, and the same food was served every single morning. There was no taste, no variety, and no effort put into it at all.

They also didn’t provide an electric kettle in the room. My husband was sick, so we went to the dining area to get some hot water, and instead of helping us, one of the kitchen staff acted very rudely and basically tried to shoo us away. It was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful.

The cleanliness of the room was also shocking. There were cockroaches and insects both in the bathroom and inside the room. The place was not clean at all. Even though housekeeping pretended to tidy up a bit, they didn’t even empty the dustbin daily. It shows how careless and unhygienic the service is.And the all the towels we received had some marks on it

On top of all this, there is a loud club/bar operating till early morning. If you are someone who can’t sleep with noise, please avoid this hotel. You won’t be able to sleep at all during the night.

Overall, this hotel completely ruined our vacation. It is overpriced, unhygienic, noisy, and provides terrible service. We regret choosing this place and will never return or recommend it to anyone.

We stayed here for 5 nights, and it was a very disappointing experience.

1) Room was not ready even at 3 PM and given an alternate room.

2) We booked mainly for the swimming pool, but at check-in were told it was closed for maintenance (not mentioned anywhere online).

3) Room smelled bad, felt old, had insects, and the bathroom was poorly maintained. Towels had visible dirt marks (see photos).

4) Same low-quality Indian breakfast every day for 5 days.

5) No kettle in the room. When I tried to take hot water as I was unwell, a staff member aggressively stopped me. Only after arguing was a very poor-condition kettle provided.

6) Many staff don’t understand English. On 3rd day, despite requesting no room cleaning, staff has entered our room without permission, which is unacceptable. Be cautious with your belongings.

Overall, this hotel is misleading, poorly maintained, and unprofessional.
Not recommended. Think twice before booking.

I had a terrible experience at Regent Palace Hotel and I do not recommend it at all.

The room was extremely dirty. The pillow covers and towels were not clean, which is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that claims to be professional. Even worse, the room contained insects and cockroaches, which made the stay uncomfortable and unhygienic.

Noise was another major issue. I stayed on the third floor, yet the nightclub noise was extremely loud and continued late into the night. The clubs located on the Mezzanine (Maisan) floor made it impossible to rest or sleep properly.

On top of that, the hotel allowed families to gather and sit in the corridors, holding meetings on the floor itself. This was very unprofessional. Their children were running around, shouting and making excessive noise, with no control or consideration for other guests.

Overall, the hotel lacks cleanliness, proper management, and basic guest comfort. This was a very disappointing stay, and I will never return to this hotel.

What a horrible stay!!!! First time i’ve experience the kind of treatment.
Firstly, I was informed that I needed to pay an additional 100 AED for a visitor who stayed for only one hour. This is the first time I have encountered such a policy, despite having stayed in many hotels. I found this charge to be unreasonable and unacceptable. I hope you are fully aware of this rule, as it gave me the impression that your staff may have been attempting to take advantage of me, which left me very disappointed.

Furthermore, I experienced a highly disrespectful incident involving one of your security guards last night. The guard made an inappropriate and offensive assumption about me, implying that I was a sex worker. This behavior was completely unacceptable and caused significant distress, particularly to my partner, who remains extremely upset. He expects to meet with the individual responsible and receive a formal apology.

These incidents have left a very negative impression, and I trust that you will address these matters with the seriousness they require.

Check in was pretty fast and good.
Rooms were pretty shabby and old, lots of broken, rusty items from the living and also the toilet area.
Housekeeping was ok, but 1 weird thing is , I have to keep reminding the housekeeping( Which will never pickup the call when i call direct extension, and have to call reception to pass the message etc), to request for bath mat and face towel ! Isn't it normal to swop these daily for hygiene purposes ?? Once i asked the houskeeping personnel, and he said he dont put it cause they dont have enough stocks or to replenish!! Cant be that bad right?!?
Next, are the daily buffet breakfast, which will rotates the menu everyday which is good, got live station for Dhosai and eggs station. food choices and mainly cater for Indian cuisine, only normal breads and pancakes available too. Salad available but no dressings provided( caesar /thousand island) etc.
One thing to take note, here the staff will just sit on the entrance area , no overlooking the crowd on the buffet area. noticed a lady can just washed her hands from the water dispenser !, a guy picking up fruits directly from the bowl, even though they provided the utensils for the food etc....really a turn off with regards to HYGIENE ! really hope they can improve on this !

one thing to note, after one week's stay here, the guys finally replaced the bath mats and face towels without beig promot to ! good improvement on that !

Swimming pool are close for now , when i plan to use them. FYI.
Overall, i given a choice, i will not come back here again.

Except for the convenience of accessibility to Burjuman Mall and Metro station, that is the only good part of staying here! Thank you

too noisy and too many clubs in the hotel, when I arrived at 5.30 am to the hotel, 2 highly intoxicated ladies were close to having a fist fight outside the hotel and had to be separated by the security guard of the hotel. Although I said for the room for the for September 10, I checked in on September 11 at 5.30 am and given allocated the worst room you can ever stayed in, it seems this hotel tales any avalible space on each level and make a room. out of it.
It was a terrible experience. Bfast was good and thats about it.
