Where to stay in Ukraine

I wanted the soviet hotel experience and that is what i got. Poltava is a sleepy town. And this was a sleepy hotel with no frills but everything works like it should.

One of the mid range rightly located hotel at crossing of October and Sinna Street. You can book single and double bedrooms in an economical way. In front of this hotel there is provincial government building which makes a beautiful view. In the same building there are different offices. You have a facility of lift as well. Around this location you have famous restaurants and supermarkets as well.

It's comfortable and not expensive.

Hotel of Soviet type. Of the benefits - kitchen and convenient location. Of the minuses - poor soundproofing and no repair.

The rooms are decent, but hot water never came. For Breakfast pasta does not come up and is not pleased.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They let us stay longer with no extra payment as our train was leaving late at night. Breakfast was tasty and well-served. Our room was clean. "Puaro" restaurant is a great value for money - good music on the background, tasty dishes and helpful staff made our stay even more warm and memorable.

We stayed for one night. We booked a room through Booking.com. When checking in, an error was found in the room category (booking error), but we are grateful to the administration for providing a room even for a larger number of people, while maintaining the necessary (ordered) quality of services. Average hotel with good service, but there is still room for improvement. The rooms are clean, have everything you need, the staff is friendly, there is private parking, not far from the city center. But there is no soundproofing in the rooms, you can hear every rustle, it is cold at night without additional blankets, but they were brought 2 hours after the request, on the old TV you can watch 10 channels...

Visited the hotel, avarage level and acceptable price, quite clean, there is the parking for guests, not bad breakfast, if you need to spend a few days in the city, you can stay here

This ain't no Ritz Carlton, that's for sure. But definitely a bargain for the price and location. Staff seems nice, bar downstairs open late and priced reasonably. Rooms are fairly large, ac works ok, decor has a minimalist Soviet era feel (but so does the whole city). Bed mattress is a bit hard and it's sprigs creak loud... No black out curtains so it geta bright early.

Survivable. I had a very good mattress - which was the key for the sleep. The room felt weird. The shower was sending water all over the ceiling and the walls. The atmosphere of a motel I would say. The breakfast was as for a motel, coffee machine was broken and nobody seem to care. You could feel that the staff does not really love the job (or the employer?).

Clean and safe city stay in downtown Kyiv Staff are always very friendly here. The rooms are clean and very affordable for a location just 5 mins from Golden Gate, St. Sophia etc..

Bontiak is my favorite hotel in Ukraine. I have stayed there numerous times since 2022. The staff is excellent, friendly, helpful and efficient. It is also one of the most well protected hotels in the city.

The rooms are a bit dated, but where the Opera shines is in service. The breakfast team is absolutely fabulous and go out of their way to prepare whatever you may desire (their Opera poached eggs are exceptional) and they make great coffee.

The reception works unsurpassed! You will really feel the care and desire to help. However, for the restaurant, if you pay for access to the Swedish line, you can only get soup, arriving only half an hour later in the 1.5-hour meal window. So, you may need supplies! This hotel is far above expectations. We booked on Wednesday night (due to my wife's birthday on Thursday). Mixed impressions. It's still the same unusual, luxurious, cozy place, in a back alley on Sumskaya Street. The breakfast still retains its warmth, but I liked it better two years ago.

I liked it. It tasted like something with pesto. It looks interesting and tastes unusual. The Tartar is also unique. The service is good, the guys are attentive and responsive, they know the menu and what's in it.

Central Nice old hotel, Very central. Quite a lot of traffic noise. Bar and cafeteria not open. But enough to choose from across the street. Nice old fashioned room with balcony.

The staff were all friendly. Location is prime for the city center. The room had a large balcony overlooking to the street but it was quiet and well shaded by the trees. It was s classic room with an actual key instead of a key card but that just adds to the charm. Having breakfast in the enclosed front terrace was a great way to start the day. I'll be happy to stay there again.

The rooms are very spacious and with the balconies reaching into the trees on the street, there's a calmness about the place that lays over all the fun things that are right there in Odesa.
