This is a great family-friendly resort, with everything for kids, as they say. There are playgrounds and a play center. Overall the hotel is great and we were happy with our stay. Our only issue was the bed wasn’t a King bed as advertised in our Suite. Nothing changed even after informing the reception. That was the disappointment as we have our 1.5 year daughter with us and was smaller bed compared to what a King bed would have been.

It needs to be refurbished. Some construction works is being already done around the building. Taxi drivers do not have a clear spot for pick-up and drop-off. Elevators with the card keys behave different one from another, doors quite worn-out, I am not big, but the shower cabin was very narrow, I kept beating off my elbows. Bed was fine, Internet connection ok. Generally good to stay one night.

I usually stay at this hotel when I am in Kiev, it is right next to the Darnitsa metro station so you can easily get on the metro and in 15-20 minutes you can be almost anywhere in Kiev. Rooms are nice, good quality, same as in USA or major European city and the price is reasonable. I recommend this hotel

Came here for conference and stayed one night, both of which were on a top level. Nice and functional conference facilities. Staff were just amazing and helpful. The room was cozy, comfortable and I had a great night sleep. Definitely recommend visiting one of the restaurants, the food is definitely worth trying. Really enjoyed staying here. Either you’re staying after a conference, or just here for a getaway for a weekend - amazing place to unwind. The hotel is located in the center of Kyiv. We were at a conference and decided to book a room! My wife and I were very pleased! It was clean and cozy, and the service was top-notch! The lobby food was delicious. We really liked the fitness center (it's not big, but it has everything: a pool, a sauna, and a gym), and it's all free! There's ample, secure parking!

Lovely room on 7th floor overlooking Maidan, staff were amazing! Huge bed with a delightful sitting room, fridge, bathroom was large with a deep bath. Absolutely spotless. Staff were delightful and reception spoke English very well. I did have to go to the onsite bomb shelter, which was surprisingly comfortable with chairs to sit in, or like me, found a place to lie down.

If it's your first time to Kyiv, I highly recommend the Hotel Ukraine. It's an iconic, Soviet-era hotel with an outstanding view of the Independence Monument and Maidan Square - the heart of Kyiv. It is a nice resort and it's worth a visit, especially during the winter holidays. The prices are average and the food is incredible. There are lots of activities, skiing, snowboarding and many more, so you don't get bored. Also, it is a great place to visit during summer time. Two of us stayed here for four days and nights. I love this hotel and will return. The staff are super helpful and multilingual, and go out of their way to help.
