It was clean and tasty, but after 10 days, it gets boring (I'd like a little more variety, especially in the salads; I personally don't consider sliced ​​bell peppers and tomatoes a salad, especially without any dressing

BUT, in 10 days this year, the maid didn't come to our place even once to do a wet cleaning (even though there's a lot of staff, when we asked for a floor cloth, it took us five hours to get one, and toilet paper was brought the next day—thankfully, the market was nearby)

There's a cafe on the beach (the prices were a bit disappointing this year; a milkshake was 70 UAH and not that tasty, so we were disappointed with the drink) and a restaurant

This year, we were pleased with the dining room. Breakfast offered four menus, and lunch and dinner each had two

Lovely room on 7th floor overlooking Maidan, staff were amazing! Huge bed with a delightful sitting room, fridge, bathroom was large with a deep bath. Staff were delightful and reception spoke English very well

I stayed for 5 nights and had a very comfortable, single room on the eight floor. The style may seem dated but that's part of its charm - all was in fine shape, well maintained and very functional

If it's your first time to Kyiv, I highly recommend the Hotel Ukraine. It's an iconic, Soviet-era hotel with an outstanding view of the Independence Monument and Maidan Square - the heart of Kyiv

The restaurant served a very good dinner and breakfast, but the hotel is very close to many fine restaurants, cafes and even brewpubs. The room had most everything but no tea kettle

But the bar in the lobby is happy to make you tea or coffee. There are few things more elegant than drinking fine tea from your lobby table while appreciating the terrific view

I did have to go to the onsite bomb shelter, which was surprisingly comfortable with chairs to sit in, or like me, found a place to lie down

There are lots of activities, skiing, snowboarding and many more, so you don't get bored. Also, it is a great place to visit during summer time. The nature is very beautiful and there is a lake were you can sunbath

The location is perfect - you can get out of your room and start skiing on a trail immediately, or walk a short distance to a slope. The staff are professional and friendly. The room has everything one needs

It will all the time in your mind and you will thi k all the time how you can return there and relive the same travel and the same hotel and the same food

It is a nice resort and it's worth a visit, especially during the winter holidays. The prices are average and the food is incredible

Was here for a 2-day stay and a conference. In general, great price for value. The rooms are cozy, maintained and well-equipped (really appreciated the "old-money" style - hard to find like those nowadays)

My first time back at the Fairmont for more than 2 years. Not many people staying in the hotel for obvious reasons. It was nice to see familiar faces among the staff. Service was excellent as normal
