The lift and stairs are not very easy to use, the location is very good, and the service is also warm and good. The ventilation is very loud, others are very good.

Hotel reception and bar were lovely, the room was well decorated but had cold and old windows, and the carpets in the hallway were very worn. Had a meal in the hotel which was god but not amazing.

Mercure Seafront Brighton...
My friend and I had a twin room on the second floor which no, didnt have a great view (they do not provide twin seaview rooms) but for the time we were in the room it was adequate. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was great.

This is a great Hotel right on sea front , easy walking distance to Town Centre. Quirky interesting entrance lobby and bar . Staff friendly and well presented . I was travelling on my own and had room only . This was spotless and comfortable , good temperature , comfy bed. I have stayed some years ago and breakfast was good. I would recommend and will definitely stay again as very good value .

The hotel is in a great location and only 15 mins walk to the Brighton centre. The hotel reception was a nice place to relax as well. The room was a bit dated but great for the price. Hotel staff were always working hard and keeping the place very clean. Managed to park on site which was very useful.

Very old and dirty rooms for inland view rooms. Need updating and cleaning this is 4 star hotel felt more like 2 star air con leaking Nd bad smell, room smell of damp. Stains on carpets beds not clean mould in bathroom the kettle not cleaned. Breakfast looked really basic for 3 star establishment. This is not 4 star! Staff helpful but 28 pound for car park this car park is tight and extremely hard to park a vehicle in prepare for your challenge!

Check-in was quick. The room was perfect for a couple of nights stay. It was a good size, clean & had everything I needed. The only thing I would say was there was only one power point which was tucked away in the corner & quite high up. I think a 2nd power point is needed either nearer a mirror or possibly by the bed. But this is a minor point considering I really did have a good stay.

This hotels frontage echo’s bygone splendour and is perfectly situated on the sea front. However, the hotel is ready for refurb and I certainly wouldn’t stay in the annex again (that’s the bit at the back without a sea view). Out room 254 was not what I expect from a Mercure - we had 2 extra single beds and a tatty sofa chair in our higgledy-piggledy “double” room!
However, the staff were excellent, very polite and welcoming. The breakfast was superb and again the restaurant staff were lovely and professional.

Bloody brilliant. Been coming here for 5 years. Much, much better than Grubbs! Always found them really friendly.

Nah... The place does only takeaways. The food is mediocre, maybe bit better than McDonald's. Although they have two tables outside for two, it's not comfortable, and no toilet/sanitary. Last time we waited like for 10 min to make an order, but then it took another half an hour to cook it, cuz they squeezed an online takeaway for college party somehow. I've been there three times, but the last one was the last ever.

We visit Uncle Sams approx once a month and love it. We had one last night and as usual it was amazing! so fresh, such great value and the only place we go to for burger and chips in Brighton. We love the guy that works there called Rifi (sorry if the spelling is wrong) he makes the place, so, so friendly and seems genuinely happy to see us each time! Keep up the great work! Plus the veggie burgers and mozzarella sticks are amazing!
