We were bumped from the neighboring hotel and they were nice enoguh to let us stay for a few nights. The rooms were spacious and our room had a kitchen and a jacuzzi in it. There's a safe, fridge, towels, shower gel, shampoo, and hairdryer provided.
It's an old building so there was nicknacks around that weren't properly working but it was a quiet hotel overall and great location!

I never stayed in a room so the 1 star isn’t anything bad about this place. I went to the rooftop bar which is a beautiful place to sit if u want to actually converse with who you’re with 😂. My 5 stars though is actually for the new owner because as we were leaving we just happened to walk through and be cheeky and walk through to the hall or and it was fab. We learned the place has just been taken over and I am not sure if the lady we spoke to was the owner but I appreciated her. Me and my friend was saying the hotel has so much histiry and the last owners destroyed it as I know many people won’t know it’s there however they now have someone who wants to bring back a building and glorify its history and take full advantage of the building again for what it is and represents instead of just making a fast buck. I will recommend this place as it’s a part of our history and poeple forget where things started. It was a pleasure to talk to someone who wanted to restore it and bring it forward in today’s world but holding onto the fab history of why it was built in the first place. Amazing to see someone trying to incorporate our past and utilise on it rather than just take over a building for their own pocket. People buy buildings like this and think they are gonna make money of the back of why it was built and the heritage but forget to keep the legacy alive and don’t value its worth so they destroy a place, we lose a part of why we r Liverpool and then they lose business as we don’t give it the same value due to the owner making it not worth it. This hotel and rooftop bar I feel is on the turn around and will and should be thriving once again. Well done for wanting to own a part of something and restoring its reaon for being there. Well done and beautiful building etc

Really confused how this hotel has 4 stars on Google. From the broken glass in the lift, to the broken fittings, windows and curtains hanging off the rails in the room this is disastrous. Considering a deposit of £100 is taken when it resembles a derelict care home and no refund given in spite of the fact that we were woken at 3am by a completely naked guest in the corridor banging on our door - it’s a joke really! The hotel needs a wrecking ball as is not fit for service. Terrible. Avoid.

Booked hotel on Booking.com and all confirmed (still showing as confirmed). Hotel said changed hands and no booking. Said been in touch (not via contact email or booking.com) & they had cancelled it!!! Shocking and very poor service!!! As Liverpool busy, believe cancelled so hotel could make more money.

Expected better & no support from booking.com. If book and confirmed, do not rely you have a booking especially if Liverpool is busy!!

Booked into here late due to work commitments, Ella was fantastic and really helpful, professional and polite. A huge credit to your business. The rooms are really big, great decor and comfortable beds. The spa bath in your room is fantastic for some bubbles and relaxing.

The air con was broken so had a noisy fan which was rubbish on a very hot day , carpet and hotel was not the cleanest, no roof top bar in week was open , had to pay £50 deposit for damage to room which said be back in my bank and after 10 days was told then 15 days , then weekend did not count as not working days .still waiting for manager to phone me and no one reply to emails. Coming up to 25 days and still no deposit in my bank . Staff just fob you off saying it will be sorted or manager would call me . But nothing

Room was a bit dated, door needed effort to get it to close properly. Carpet had some stains on/could have done with a hoovering.

Friendly/helpful staff. Hotel is in a great location. Decent breakfast.

Lovely place but steak was cold and service wasn't what you would expect for such an expensive restaurant.

Travelled up from London for the weekend. Was rammed into the restaurant, could hear every body around me's conversation around me as we were so close to one another. Left the restaurant with a terrible gut ached and was ill for 2 days from the Prawn & Monk Fish. Don't other, stick with Prezzo.

Found this one in Liverpool not had good has Manchester. Staff stiff unfriendly. If your face fits they will take your coat otherwise u have to sit on it. Staff stood talking and staring making u feel uncomfortable Waited a while for our drinks. Food very nice but not my cup of tea and will not return. Roll on Manchester all the way
