The rception team were welcoming, friendly and were very helpful.
Our room 107 was clean and a decent size. The bathroom door wouldn't shut properly as it requires the lock to do this, our lock was broken. The windows let a draft through as they were not fully double glazed.
As our room overlooked Castle Street, we did expect to hear some noise and we certainly did, most of the night. The rooms are not soundproofed so movement and chatter from other residents on the corridor did disturb us.
Having said all that, we did stay right in the heart of a lively vibrant city, so yes some noise is to be expected.
Overall Tune Hotel Liverpool is ideally located and for one night this hotel ticked almost all the boxes.

Bare and basic. The layout is is well-sign posted but the walks are lengthy to the room. We were in the last room and so it took probably 5 minutes to walk from reception. When inside the room, it was lacking any comforts. We were also next to a club playing music until well after midnight.

Never Again

Accessibility: If you have the misfortune of being allocated a room on the 4th floor, prepare yourself for a journey. You must first take a lift to the first floor, walk along the corridor and navigate a set of stairs, then take another lift. Not exactly seamless.

Heating: An ugly standalone air conditioning unit blowing suffocating hot air greeted me upon entry—not what I was expecting.

Lighting: Thank goodness for the mini table lamp you can move around, because there's no lighting near the bed whatsoever. Your options are either blinding football stadium lighting overhead or complete darkness. Well, almost complete darkness—sleep on the wrong side of the bed and you'll be treated to an annoying bright green light that stays on all night. Delightful.

Amenities: Zero cups in the room. Fancy a little glass of prosecco before your event? You'll have to drink straight from the bottle. I suppose you could venture downstairs for a paper cup, but that would require navigating two lifts, a mini set of stairs, and mounting an entire expedition.

Bathroom: Long hair and want to shower or rinse your feet? Think again. The showerhead is fixed to the ceiling with no adjustable cord, making it impossible to direct the water where you need it. I ended up shaving my legs in the bathroom sink—which, at least, gave me a chance to appreciate my flexibility, as the high sink is certainly no joke for someone who's 5'2".

Bottom line: Just pay a few quid more and stay at the Easyhotel next door. Yes, they don't have cups in the room either, but at least it's no bother to fetch one.

My partner and I stayed here 2 nights, for a concert. It’s no where near as close to the location as was said. Receptionist who checked us in was absolutely lovely, not very great with directions to our room though. Speaking of the room, it was absolutely freezing even with the hot air con on. The tv kept on glitching, and cutting out. Not to mention it had some guy narrating which is great for those who can’t see, but we were unable to turn it off and it was much louder than the shows themselves. The shower had what seems to be read hair dye on the shower head too, which isn’t great. The door knob fell off multiple times when entering the room, we had to slam it back on multiple times. There was also blood on my partners pillow, not from either of us which is gross and weird..

Really plesent stay and have already recommended, rooms was comfortable with a desk, lamp, mirrors and hairdryer, tv very clean and spacious,
My only negative and not at the fault of the hotel, is there is a lovely coctail bar opened behind which is rather noisy, we were room.126 directly opposite the entrance..
Would 100: stay again

Cleanliness was not satisfactory. Booked for a double room with window with courtyard view . But the view was another building next to the window .overall , good service

Great hotel in the centre for all amenities. Staff friendly . Room good only criticism is trying to find my room ! Lift only goes to first floor then follow signs & uo two flights of stairs to get to the third floor.

The air conditioner in the room is not working. The door handle is broken. The carpet has a bad smell. The windows do not open. Very small rooms and the interior layout is wrong. I definitely do not recommend it because the price does not match the offer.

Just ok for one night stay, sink in the bathroom clogged.
Window not opening properly.

Room door lock broken. Shower pressure low. Pillows hard. Air conditioning broken/windows sealed. Long walk from reception to room including using TWO lifts!

Travelled up from London for the weekend. Was rammed into the restaurant, could hear every body around me's conversation around me as we were so close to one another. Left the restaurant with a terrible gut ached and was ill for 2 days from the Prawn & Monk Fish. Don't other, stick with Prezzo.

Found this one in Liverpool not had good has Manchester. Staff stiff unfriendly. If your face fits they will take your coat otherwise u have to sit on it. Staff stood talking and staring making u feel uncomfortable Waited a while for our drinks. Food very nice but not my cup of tea and will not return. Roll on Manchester all the way

Visited from Bristol last year and the food, drink and service was spot on.

Visited again last Friday night 17/11/17. Only 2 of us dined. We had 2 appetisers, 2 mains, 2 glasses of champagne and 2 cocktails at a grand total of £110 with the compulsory 10% gratuity.

Now, when you spend that kind of money, you don’t expect to have to send back your steak (in a steakhouse) for being cold even if you do have it cooked medium rare.

They took it back, put the piece of meat back in the pan, which overcooked it and brought it back out. Which is a solution to the problem, but it’s not right.

However they made no attempt at a sign of goodwill not even £3 knocked off for the olives.

Based on this experience, we won’t be returning, could have got a better steak from the nearest harvester.

So i orderd the pie. It arived in a dish. So not a pie. It had a lid of pastry and five pieces of meat for 15 pounds sterling. And by bits of meat i mean a miniscule mouthfull. It was stew in a pot .... my life was harder because of this place. Im still hungry. Stafg are nice. Beer cold and beer like. Food. Meh

We were in Liverpool for a night away and really fancied steak (fillet) decided to go to Marco Pierre, what a disappointment, firstly they had no fillet! So me and my partner had rump, we had starters before hand and under my plate was covered in tomato sauce didn't realise until I moved the plate and got it all over my hands. My partner had ribs, no water bowl or wet tissue was provided. Then came the steak mine to be fair was actually quite nice. However my partners steak was 70% fat and gristle not nice he hates fat that's why he prefers fillet. It was u edible. I ordered a béarnaise sauce if that was béarnaise I'll eat jay with a horse there wasn't a herb in site and it was way to thick! They gave us 25% off needless say we won't be going back to this particular restaurant or any other Pierre restaurant !
