A very pleasant stay, and the best part was the staff's service. They were very attentive and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel after checking out and were able to rest until our train departed.

I needed a room for very specific requirements. Flexibility, convenient and reasonable priced. This feels those purposes. Some things i did wish was an extra pillow, possible better air circulation and a shelf in the shower. Other than that I was sorted

Avoid this cowboy arrangement.

Hotel refused check in because I didn’t have any ID on hand. Never had this issue before, never requested ID at any other UK stays as a British Citizen.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The reception team was extremely kind and welcoming, and Loay at the front desk was especially helpful and genuinely thoughtful. He made everything so easy and comfortable. Thank you for the great hospitality!

The place is good for its price and its location. Expect an average experience. No room cleaning. But there is complementary breakfast; coffee, orange juice, and some bread and sweets.

We experienced a theft of an expensive pastry from the storage lock in the receiption.

First time stay here. Room was very basic. Single bed. Empty of anything, no chair etc. Because it was tiny, on the top floor. Can’t remember last time I’ve had a single bed in a hotel. Bathroom tiny, so shower was tiny. Decor absolutely basic. Someone said backpacker and that was my sense of it too. Breakfast was pastries, or slices of cheese. No wish to return. Ok I guess if price good and you don’t need any more than a basic bed for the night.

Arrived. Not the warmest welcome. Small room, no power, back down to reception... No chair to sit on, just a bed No milk or sugar in my room, only coffee pods. No tissues. Breakfast was basic and coffee machine is difficult to use. Large spider in my room during my stay. Woke on the final day to no power again, fumbled around in the dark, had to go down to reception in my pjs, embarrassing. Ash & Wes were both very helpful and went out of their way. It's a charming building in a great location, can walk everywhere, but the place feels sterile, bit like a posh backpackers.

Excellent location close to Kensington Gardens and public transport. For history and luxury enthusiasts. What a great breakfast included in price. A nice surprise, because they say "continental" and indeed in that style but with great class! Freshly squeezed orange juice, good coffee, selection of cheeses and cottage cheeses, jams, various sweet and savoury pastries, bread, fruit, yoghurts. Yum, yum Come and enjoy yourself

I was super impressed with this accommodation all round. Excellent (quiet) location Friendly staff, spotless room, super comfortable bed and pillows, and I was very pleased with the size and layout of my room as a solo traveller. From now on as we head into the summer, each room will need a fan as there is no AC in the rooms. I got a fan from reception which made all the difference. My advice is to ask for the fan as soon as you check in, so you will have it for the duration of your stay. I stayed for three nights and can't wait to return again on my next visor to London. The nearest tube station is Gloucester Road.

Good location, good value for money. Some people may not like this low touch Air BnB like Hotel model. For example, you check in and are verified ahead of time through their App. Your room key is a code for a little keypad instead of keycards locks . I had been a little skeptical because of some past reviews about cleanliness but my room was perfect. The staff were super friendly as well. I needed an iron and ordered it through the Sonder app. It came in under 5 minutes. The front steps could be an issue for some. Also, as other reviews noted, there is no AC. My room was a little warm when I arrived but opened the window and it was fine. I asked about it and was told they are trying to come up with something. Breakfast was decent(it had all you need ) plus a neat machine that made fresh OJ on the spot. Overall very good value for money.

Amazing service without it being aloof or snobbish. Great food, great drinks and generally a fantastic evening out. When I say "would eat there again", it's because I fully intend to rather than some abstract idea.

First class restaurant - really worth the money paid. We had the lunchtime set menu and it was excellent both in quality and the value for money. There were all sorts of amuse-bouche provided that were a pleasant surprise that just made the whole meal. What an introduction to fine dining!
