the hostel is located in the busiest area of central london and most of the historical landmarks of the city are within reach, for example, the Borough market, the Shard, London bridge and the Tower bridge. in addition the Inn has a fabolous bar and restaraunt downstairs where travellers and Londoners meet and interacts. the beer and food prices are affordable. I greatly recommend the Inn for someone on a budget but wants to get the great memories of London.

For staying here you get £2.50 foster, 2 for 1 on selected bottle beer (sol ?), and 2 for 1 on Gin, vodka and rum drinks. Just show room card. As for the room, each bed had its own outlet with USB input.

A long hostel-bar with a small dining area at the end. Generally cheap drinks given the surrounding competition, but service can be a bit slow. Burgers are an excellent choice.

Nice pub but the service was slow and the food was really disappointing. The macaroni cheese is so dry! Poached egg on rye bread was very underwhelming.

Nice little restaurant with good service and nice food

Very bad first impression, we felt “forced” to take a seat and order something. We had our own drinks with us and when they saw that they would take them from us. The food wasn’t that bad, but when the check came we were amazed. They charged us 12.5% of the total price, normally we would give a large tip but they really forced it so we were really upset. 1 out of 5 stars

My work colleagues and I go here on a regular basis and absolutely love it. Amazing food, excellent service and I would recommend it to all! We've been for both lunch and dinner and cannot fault the food! Brilliant!

Welcoming place where you definitely get a good selection of wine, amazing food with great taste and presentation. And some inventive touches on your plate. The majority of the staff was friendly but a few couldn't get a smile on their lips. We were with a large group of 21 but they managed to serve us more or less at the same time.

My husband brought me a surprise weekend treat to the Shard and dinner in Roast. We arrived and all was well and the waiter seemed very attentive. I ordered the 48 day burger but I did not fancy a Yorkshire pudding with it so I requested fries. The burger came with gravy which was weird but the 48-Day dry aged sirloin of beef was so thin and grisly and the bun was so dry I could not understand how the cost of it could be justified. My husband’s scallops were fine but the beef wellington was so rare the meat was cold and bloody see picture also the pastry was doughy not crisp and light as should be. Finally the waiter gave the bill to me! As it was a special occasion and the restaurant was quite full we did not complain at the table as I personally do not like to make a fuss and also I don’t like to upset other dinners.

The Chablis and the setting was lovely.

I can’t express how upset I / we were as the experience tainted our evening.

It’s one of the best restaurants in borough market.
The food is delicious and the service was great.
We had oysters for starter , it was so fresh.
We had grilled steak, roast beef and sea bass for main course and they all tasted delicious.
And the great finale was the cherry crumble, sticky dates pudding and winter plum pudding.

I work for a 5 star hotel and I rate experience and interaction with staff with a high expectation.
The 3 on rating was due to the reason that the look the hostess gave us upon our arrival and my partner interaction as he was looking for our friends who was waiting at the bar was of snobbish attitude. This is mainly due to our clothing.

We were out all day sight seeing and didn't have time to go home to change so we were jeans and nice long sleeve t-shirt.

Solid 4 star for the food, esp for London. Flavor was good and nice presentation. Order fish and chips just to give it a try. Fish was not fishy with just enough light batter. The chips/fried potato was perfect.

The service was great from our waiter, and wine recommendation was good.
