I really liked this hotel. The staff were super friendly, and the room was clean and modern. The location was great, right near the Farrington station, and there's a Tesco Express just around the corner. There are some great pubs nearby as well. What more could you ask for?

I have no idea how this hotel is rated as 4 stars. The experience is disaster.
First, the receptionist was not there when we arrived, waited for 5 minutes, that’s fine.
Then, when we asked for check-in, she just confirmed the name and gave us a key card without asking for our ID, serious security concern here.
Third, the lift is so small, only can fit one person and one luggage.
Forth, the room door is very hard to open. When we asked the help from the receptionist, she just asked us to push the door hard, I went up and try again, it’s hard to push in. I went down to ask the receptionist again, she did not even try to attend to my room and help us. Poor and terrible experience here.

Nice and clean hotel, recently renovated. Convenient location to the metro. I would stay here again.

We stayed at The Bryson for 6 nights and were happy with our stay. The room was on the smaller side but it did allow us to have our two large suitcases placed down on the floor whilst allowing the room door to be opened. The staff at reception were courteous. The area around the hotel has many restaurants, and there is a market with food stalls.
The bus stop was conveniently across the road , and we took the bus to West End / Chinatown and to the O2 at Greenwich.

Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Location weals great for what I was doing in London. The only problem was the mini fridge did not get or keep anything cold. I paid for a breakfast but the kitchen was having a refit and was off Continental breakfast in my room. That’s ok if you like that kind of things. I will definitely stay there again.

Really good. I never order steak because I don't trust anyone to make it like I want. QC is one of a few places that got my steak right! Must try - also their vegetable sides should be made into mains because they are really good too!

Wonderful food - I had black truffle risotto to start, and the Suffolk barnsley chop with confit potatoes and sprouts for my main. It was superb, albeit on the pricey side. The service was excellent too: one of our party was very late, but they accommodated him with relaxed aplomb.

Very disappointing - knocked over my wife’s wine glass and despite losing the best part of a whole glass of wine didn’t offer to give her another glass - we had to order more - and no reduction on the bill. Service mediocre - one starter came way after the others and lamb very fatty - more fat than meat. Overall wouldn’t rush back. Had to go and find our own coats once paid. Feels like they are too self important.

There’s some great food here, no doubt. The fish soup was intensely flavourful, the confit potatoes an absolute revelation. However, for a set lunch menu, 19 is a big ask when you’re not including any sides. And my main was 200g onglet (which costs the same as mince).
This is a classy place but I don’t think the value is there.
Also, they claimed not to be part of the £5off good food guide scheme, when they are clearly included in it.

Quality produce, simply prepared but with skill and presented well with an excellent wine list.

All Rounder, just don't sit on the benches. Choose a normal table in the other dining room.

Order extra Confit potatoes, with caviar if you can. And the full size portion of mince on toast is extra delicious, because you'll want more than the snack size!
