We stayed for 3 days in a family room, which cost approximately 1440 RMB per night. Overall, we were quite satisfied with our stay. The room wasn't very large, but thankfully they provided water, biscuits, and coffee. The cleanliness was about 80 out of 100, but it was very quiet. We could see the Shard's spire from the window.
The location isn't ideal for tourists, but the subway is convenient. It's a bit of a walk (over 15 minutes) from all the attractions.
The reception staff were all British and very welcoming and undiscriminate. We were especially pleased that we arrived at the hotel at 10 am and were checked in immediately, without having to wait until 3 pm.

Very good location (2 min walk to Southwark Station )and room size appropriate. Unfortunately,most of the female receptionist seems like they did not like their job or was not happy when they receive queries. No smiles, no greetings.
Breakfast was ok, but we expected more as it’s Novotel. We stayed 3 nights and every day, the warm breakfast assortment were the same: Eggs
(scrambled eggs+ sunny side up) beans,mushrooms,hashbrowns, sausages and bacon.
Overall it was fine but a value for money.

The hotel location, cleanliness and rooms were all good. We had three problems, I had stayed at this chain of hotel before and new you had to book to use the swimming pool. I rang up to do so on the 5 days before I stayed as wanted to get in a swim before bedtime with my son, I was reassured that was not needed and I could wait till the the day. I went down to reception on the day of stay and the times requested were already full which was extremely frustrating.
We had booked a room with my son, 4 so he could have the sofa bed made up which was not done when we arrived, just inconvenient.
The thing that bothered me was house keeping waking us up at 8.30 am showing me a piece of paper trying to come into room, after a very tiring day the day before with a 4 yr old that was still asleep (this also woke him up) so we were all shattered for the rest of the day.

Hotel location extremely perfect with good proximity to attractions. Very close to the train stations which makes is great, surrounded by food restaurant with options to pick from. However, the 2nd bed was not made until we came had to call and cleaners walked in on us without knocking was very bad as we could be dressing up without any notice. Pool was lovely with the sauna. Front staff were very polite as well. Overall great experience

Lovely hotel, situated close to the underground which is great for commuting around. The hotel was clean and staff were helpful, we had an evening meal which was well priced and lovely would highly recommend

Love this place, right outside the tube station so easy to get to.
Food here is reasonably prices considering its location and I've had many hot dogs and fries.
There are plenty of beers here plus cider and the usuals.
I love that they have games available, had many games of connect 4 in here. Seating is available outside with heaters.

Great vibes, solid selection of beers from local London craft brewers. Love the boxing decor and theme of the place. Great history which inspires said atmosphere. Awesome pub and convenient location, highly recommended.

a standout for the area. well worth the walk from Waterloo for excellent pub food. the burgers are enormous. they pride themselves on the juicy hot dogs.

The Mac’n’Cheese was amazing. One of the best I ever had. The House Salad is really fresh but could do with a nice creamy and spicy dressing rather than the vinegar and oil.

Stunning fusion of cosy, relaxed pub atmosphere with a top quality menu of hearty British crowdpleasers. The sharing pies are works of art, and everyone leaves here satisfied. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable.

We had the Goose dinner on Monday to celebrate the holiday season. Absolutely amazing. More food than we could eat and of the highest quality. Definitely going to be a Christmas tradition to do this every year.

The kitchen doesn't take orders until 12.30am for Sunday lunch. But make sure you arrive early to get seats! Strongly recommend the 7 hour slow cooked lamb.

I come here from time to time as it's near to my work. Food is delicious, staff are very welcoming and friendly. I like that they are very careful with dietary requirements, and go above and beyond to make sure that I know what I'm eating and don't compromise my dietary needs. They have some very good vegan options in amongst their regular items, Just ask the staff.

I was impressed with this busy restaurant and will go there again. Tasty Turkish food. Nice bustling atmosphere. Very efficient service.

The food was really nice. The staff could be a bit more enthusiastic though. One of the waitresses was a bit on the grumpy side and had to be called a few times to do her job. I'd still go back.
