AMAZING STAY! WOULD BOOK AGAIN AND RECOMMEND.

Came with family for a birthday weekend trip. We were all very impressed. Location is excellent- basically in the heart of London with breathtaking views of St Paul’s Cathedral. The hotel itself was outstanding - scaly considering its 4 stars. It’s more like 5 to be honest. Free water on site and in rooms, which is extremely helpful. The hotel is very spacious, modern and beautifully designed. The rooms were very spacious with the BEST shower! There is even a hair dryer and iron provided in the rooms. Spa facilities was amazing- lovely sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. The breakfast had a variety - very accommodating to those who have dietary requirements/ need veggie options. Staff were so kind, helpful and accommodating. Service was outstanding overall and I would most definitely return. Thank you for allowing us to have such an enjoyable experience.

It’s was convenient as I was on a work trip. Staff was welcoming and the whole experience was great. Room was clean which is always a plus. Definitely would recommend for a chill weekend as the spa is good and the surrounding is great

The location is great. After taking the Gatwick train into the city, it's about a 7-8 minute walk to the hotel. St. Paul's Cathedral is right outside the door, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. You can even pre-order from Five Guys and eat there. The prices fluctuate quite a bit, but if you catch a good deal, it offers decent value for money.

The location is very close to the project, and the breakfast is indeed very rich.

Just next to St. Paul Cathedral one of the landmark of London so you will always enjoying perfect views and vibrant of city, restaurants and coffee shops

Firstly the roof terrace, if you wish to use this, make sure to check it is available before you book. It was booked for private events all weekend so I was unable to enjoy the view that I originally picked the hotel with the idea of dinner over the London skyline. Disappointing and not made clear on apps or their website. Sooo, I paid for superior king room and was put in a disabled room with filthy yellow stained shower curtain and filthy shower seat (what if an actual disabled person had required this room..?!) the bedroom floor had visible crumbs. The TV remote was broken and TV glitched when moving channels, consistent message error when trying to connect phone/Netflix on TV. Broken lamp that fell to pieces when I went to turn it on, exposed wires so I unplugged it. The "little shop" in the foyer charging £3.90 for one can of coke is mental. Long queue at check in and not much organisation in terms of where to stand and wait. Guy on the door grumpiest guy I'd met all weekend, no smile for me on arrival or leaving. The outside courtyard area could be literally covered for smokers or people wishing to sit outside and moving between my room and hotel and spa without being rained on. Plenty of people walking through restaurants in their robes straight from the spa was a bit weird. I liked the restaurant food and waiting staff were really nice especially Kathleen. Her sweet personality and kind attentive nature made a positive difference to my stay. Unfortunately I wasn't happy with this place considering the cost and other options available, despite being located in the city good for tourists, but I am a Londoner back home for a wedding, so I was quite disappointed with this place. Also felt the pool sauna etc are far too small for the size of the hotel. It got very busy very quick, men being excessively loud and couples in the hot tub. It wasn't very relaxing unfortunately. I would use Trip again but not to book this hotel. Luckily I have been given a small partial refund for my stay from Trip who helped settle my issues with hotel.

A wonderful stay. The room was spacious, well equipped and perfectly clean. The lady who looked after our room couldn't do enough. Breakfast was delicious and set us up perfectly for a busy day of sight seeing. Reception, concierge, bar staff, spa staff and cleaners were all lovely. Location is good, on the edge of the super busy areas which was perfect. We got to see everything we wanted and more. 5 min walk from Blackfriers station. We really loved our stay. Thank you.

Great location, right outside St. Paul's Cathedral, and close to three tube stations, making it really convenient for getting around London. The room was typical London hotel style – small.

This is our second stay in Leonardo’s and it was lovely this time around as it was last time. The only thing that’s different is the hours children can attend the pool, it’s pretty limited. However this didn’t impact us as we weren’t there to go swimming. We did have an issue with our neighbours banging doors constantly when we spoke with the front desk they were happy to change our room, which worked out perfectly as it was dark and quiet at night which is what we needed. Highly recommend

Staff were pleasant and polite however had no real experience or knowledge. Felt a bit like ordering at a well designed McDonalds. Sat at the bar and struggled to order anything but particularly drinks - as one of 6 guests in the bar area and 4 staff visible it was quite disappointing. Food was on the bland side but passable, at that price though is 'passable' really what you want? Walking in I was surprised a Jamie Oliver restaurant would be this quiet, however walking out I was far less surprised. Room to improve.

The best thing about this restaurant is the view! Incredible location, overlooking St Paul's cathedral - be sure to ask for a window seat. Unfortunately the mains were a little lacking considering the price tag. Some of the flavours simply didn't work together, and for the price I would expect better. However, that being said, I would highly recommend the short rib croquettes and calamari to start and the P.B.J for dessert!

Went for a birthday dinner last Saturday evening, arrived at 8pm and it was very busy but had quietened down by 9pm. The tables in the central area are very large squares with banquette style leather seating which felt a little awkward with 4 of us as we were arranged in a 'U' shape rather than a typical circular table arrangement where everyone is facing each other. That said, the views are great and the seating comfortable; the décor has also stood the test of time and still looks sleek some years after opening.
The various main courses our party ordered (chicken, steak, fish) were all cooked as requested and tasted good although definitely over-priced. Starters were likewise well presented and tasty although very small portions. Our side of mash was forgotten so minus half a star there.
The wine was good but again over-priced for the 'blends' they have on offer - bottles start at around £30 and rapidly increase - and it's interesting that some wines are actually cheaper to purchase by the glass. We were, however, offered tastings before committing to a bottle.
Our waiter was very pushy in trying to get us to order additional sides and deserts which was a touch irritating so minus another half star there.
Overall it was a very pleasant and enjoyable evening but it's expensive for what it is, there are definitely better options for the same money.
