Staff were lovely and very understanding but the rooms themselves were dirty, including mould in the bathroom ceiling and trash under the bed. I woke up after the first night with bed bug bites on my legs as well. The bed was fine but the blankets were terribly cheap. They never locked the front or back door in a slightly dodgy neighbourhood which made me feel a bit unsafe. When my girlfriend reviewed her experience with it honestly on Booking.Com, the hotel staff tried to bribe her with a free stay in order to take down her negative review. Do not recommend.

Bed was awful, no visitors allowed in your room never heard of that before. It's not about getting what you paid for, I have stayed in travelodge for less and got good things to say.

I was at Stratford Hotel last year in 2017 , and I had a great time at this Hotel, the staff working here are all very friendly, and even though it is a quite small Hotel, as a guest you feel welcome and well guided into the local city of Stratford, we had a wonderful time my better half and I at least, splendid Hotel indeed!

The hotel ist at a very good location as it only Takes about 10 minutes to the Underground, Railway and Bus Station. The famous Westfield Shopping Center is also there.

Staff was always friendly and helped with all requests.
Roomservice came every day but didn't do the best Job.
The rooms themselfs were Okay for the price, but there is a Lot of improvements which can be made. In our room we found missing lightbulbs in the lamp, burned electrical Outlets, Beds with Missing screws, moldy bathroom cealing, dying bathroom ventilation and rusty faucets. The sink in the shower was clogged and the showerhead holder was broken aswell.
But for 50€ a night I would maybe stay here again.

This hotel is very near to Stratford railway station. You can reach to Stratford railway station by walking. This hotel is situated very clean Stratford area of london.As campare to other surroundings hotels this hotel rates are affordable. This hotel is cleanly maintain. Free morning buffet breakfast is available for all. Food quality is also good. Rooms are also well maintain. Staff are well mannered and cooperative .

The staff were friendly, but the place was horrific. I didn't end up staying both nights, I stayed in another friend's accommodation. The room was clean, but some of the ceiling had been plastered over and not painted, the wardrobe was falling apart. I went to this place for the separate toilet, which was a disgrace. The shower didn't have a door, that was stuffed down the side. The shower itself had mold and other gunk around it, and it was very small. I just couldn't sleep there, not only because of the room, but the fact you can hear every single other room in the whole place. To think I paid £120 to stay here. What a waste.

A lesson in customer service would be lost on the staff in Calabash (Stratford). Extremely rude. I had one staff member roll her eyes at me when I requested water in place of a canned fizzy drink. Such a shame as the food is decent. Needless to say, me and my entire office (which is literally opposite the shop) have boycotted them. I'm all for supporting small business but they need to realise the customer is king/queen. I now buy my lunch from Sainsbury's - not half as tasty!!

Very good food. They catered for my wedding reception, and people couldn't get enough.
Great service on the phone and over email, and the delivery drivers were great too!

If you are looking for decent Indian food, it is with coming here. The staff are friendly, the food tastes good and it is fairly cheap. So feel free to give it a try if looking where to eat in Stratford.
