Had an enjoyable one night's stay when in London for a couple of days. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and even gave us free cookies! Would stay again!

Good hotel. Very clean and good location. Close proximity to the passport office and the train line.

Hotel lifts were out of order constantly, paid for two singles got a double bed, went down to the front desk they said they would send house keeping up, waited an hour went down again to complain they moved us up from the 6th to the 7th floor same issues again house keeping came eventually after half hour to sort the beds out, rooms were small the bathroom was claustrophobic, the shower was full of hair and was yellow where it's not been cleaned, ask why the ac didn't work as it was very hot in the rooms and the windows had laches on so no air could come in and they said it's because it was connected to the central heating so the aircon didn't work even on the coldest temperature defo don't recommend if you have needs and aren't able to climb the stairs, also found a dirty tissue under the bed

Great hotel. Great location. Very near to the London Excel exhibition hall. I can imagine this hotel gets very busy when there are exhibitions on. When we were there there weren’t any exhibitions on, so all very pleasant. Close to DLR and Elizabeth tube line stations, so simple to get to London Padington.
Staff very helpful

There's a slight issue with Ctrip's search function. We wanted to book a hotel near Victoria Station, but this one is located near Royal Victoria Station, which requires two subway changes to get to. That's £3.10 * 2 every day just for commuting!!!!!!

if they have slippers provided that would be nice

We had a room with the river view and that was nice. Room was considered big and everything works fine. The only point about this hotel is it is slightly further away from the London central.

It was great very relaxing. I couldn’t connect my Netflix to it but I could connect my YouTube to it.

Limited menu, buffet items were poor quality. Not fresh at all, tasted like it was from a tin. Ordered garlic Nan and got half a garlic nan and half a peshwari nan, luckily I'm not allergic to coconut!
After barely eating any of the terrible food, I was charged £25pp for the buffet!
Absolute disgrace, will not visit again. Would not recommend this place to anyone!

I like my curry and eat most, but this place is dire! Welcomed (use the term loosely) by a sour faced fella, sat down, no drinks order taken until chased, RAW Tandoori chicken in the buffet so couldn’t eat a thing after finding it. Still charged full price, by an argumentative stroppy fella trying to justify the ‘accident’ that hadn’t happened for six months. Super-Cali-Fragilistic-Avoid-This-Place-Or-Croak-It

Overpriced, pathetic food doesn't justify the price tag. We were pressurized by waiter to go for Buffet, which was priced at 25£. Food was Stale, disgusting awful. Even my 4 year old would have prepared better food than what was being served. It was the worst Indian food I have ever eaten in UK.
In buffet, there were just 5 distasteful mains with no deserts being served at all and in waiters words Naan was free.. ??.
The waiter had the audacity to add 12.5% service charge on self serving buffet which I refused to pay and he was OK with it.
We went on a Friday night, when any decent restaurant should be jam packed but we were all alone, ignored the warning signs , a grave mistake.

Nice Indian restaurant offers good service and good food. Being a buffet I could not move as I eat way to much! Will be going back very soon.

Food is ok, but the service is bad as hell. Unfriendly and overpriced!
Please avoid to make the same mistake...

WORST SO CALLED CHINESE. I ordered home delivery, food is over priced for the quality. The portions were so small. Most of the food was way over cooked and tasteless. Chewing the tiny spare ribs hurt my teeth. Worst was the chicken corn soup which tasted like Boiled chopped chicken breast with sweetcorn in water. Then the so called egg fried rice, no egg, no peas just rice fried in oil. Tasteless. I imagined a wonderful starter platter but it came with just 2 mini triangles of prawns on toast, 2 small pieces of ribs, 2 chicken satay sticks, 2 oily veg spring rolls and a tiny cupcake size of seaweed. Come on! Getting good value for money is important. Only good thing was delivery guy was friendly.(probably just to distract me from checking the food) Please check your order before you pay and possibly taste it. Will never order again. If you want to get real value for money visit a buffet like jrc or cosmos, they are 100x better, lots of awesome starters and dishes to try. This is pretend Chinese food not the real deal. I've tasted better for cheaper. Really disappointed about the quality. Please take reviews seriously. I saw some about them being overpriced but I didn't take it serious. Wish I had read more before ordering.

I came to order a take away of half a duck, a portion of roast pork and a portion of crispy belly pork today @ 17:28 today. I thought it was funny i had to wait such a long time for these items as they only needed chopping up. When i got these to my mum's place for our weekend family meal, i realised apart from the duck, both the other two orders were probably leftovers from the previous day with evidence someone had tried to reheat them. The roast pork was dry and overcooked, the crispy belly pork wasn't crispy! I live in Hackney and didnt want to drive back to the restaurant to complain and besides my mother had a guest. I find it very surprising that a restaurant of your supposed repute would for the sake of £8.50, serve a customer food like this. If the food is inferior get ride of it!

Very nice Chinese restaurant tucked in next to ExCeL. Excellent place to have lunch (dim sum is served here) or dinner. The atmosphere is nice, food is super tasty and the price is adequate. Cards accepted, too.

Terrible service. Absolutely appalling. Do NOT visit this place, it is not worth it.

Arrived to be told a fifteen minute wait. They expected us to wait outside, but as another group were already using the seating area we didn't think much of it. Eventually got inside, waited a while and then were asked - did we mind our group (six people) being seated over two tables next to each other? We were puzzled at this, as there were several obviously free tables big enough - but thought maybe these were reserved. We asked if the tables could be pushed together, and after puzzled looks, miraculously there was a table large enough for us. Result? Not really, we should have paid attention to the warning signs.

We placed our orders and waited, thinking at least drinks and crackers would arrive first. Nothing. 45 minutes later, we can finally see our drinks on the bar - where they then sit ignored by staff. Eventually one of our party went and picked up the tray - no member of staff ever noticed this. Another 30 minutes, and still no food, no visit from any staff to say why. -
and our table was in a prominent area so it's not as though they couldn't see we had nothing. We'd have left, if it wasn't for the fact that other restaurants in the area had private bookings that night. Someone eventually went in search of answers, at which point it became apparent that they'd 'lost' our order. As an apology, a couple of baskets of the most stale, tasteless prawn crackers I've ever encountered arrived at the table. When the starter arrived (1 1/2 hours after we placed our order), most were disgusting - stone cold, overcooked or just plain awful.

The main course was decent, but by this point it was already a horrible experience. They did offer a round of drinks as an apology, but frankly that didn't go nearly far enough for the horrendous service. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Well this is where Mr T hangs out, not the one off of the a team, but another one you've never heard of. Accidently called in here for a drink on the way to somewhere else. Not sure if it was even open, but Mr T poured me a drink. There were a couple of dodgy characters in there but the seemed to add to the atmosphere. Mr T thought he was really good at chess of all things and demanded we played a game. Fortunately my mate had played chess before and duly went and thrashed Mr T. Poor old Mr T didn't look too happy, but perhaps if he spent more time working instead of drinking and playing games he might get 4 or more stars. Still it turned out to be a bit of a talking point for the next few minutes of our adventure.

We had a great meal here tonight so can only give it a massive thumbs up - good prices for London!

This place is terrible! Walked in and the Indian server woman told us that we can either wait or leave. I'm sorry but I'm Canadian and we don't speak like that to paying customers and nor would we ever. She was the only one working and apologized which was fine. The Indian food is terrible... don't even bother. Avoid! The owner seems nice so I feel bad writing this but seriously this place sucks!
