The gentleman at the reception was very friendly and polite. His service 10/10. However when i called during the day, I was told i can’t check-in without my Fiancé’s card (as that’s the payment method used) even though he was arriving 6 hours later. I waited for him walking through london and when we arrived he wasn’t even asked for his card.

It’s ok not that bad place but expensive for the price

The location is great, right next to the underground station and only a few minutes from the centre on the tube. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby for food/drinks etc. The rooms are gorgeous, huge beautiful windows and lots of space. Friendly staff, who are very helpful, and great value for the price

Didn't meet expectations - room was very shabby and the stains on the carpet were really shocking. Advertised as a room for 4 adults but the sofa-bed was almost too small for my two children to share (see photo). Rooms are cleaned only after a four night stay (but towels are changed daily). No security safe. Keycard never worked (no problem to have staff open for us each time). Aircon is unpredictable and had exposed wires. Would be a great place if they refurbished it. Why two stars and not one? Location is ok for the price, staff are cold but polite.

Great location for seeing a gig in Kentish Town and an area of London we’d not explored before. Nice big room , clean and handy to have a fridge and microwave. Easy check in - close to tube and lots of food and drink options close by

Super easy check in. A few stray hairs on the linen and towels but other than that it was well cleaned. Really quiet room.

My husband and I have eaten at Harman 2 days in a row, we are staying in the neighborhood for a visit.
First off, the service is excellent! Both nights we were given a complimentary mezzo with our bread. The first night we ordered the chicken wings which came with rice and salad. Some of the best wings we have ever eaten. Grilled, moist and delicious. We also ordered the meatballs which also came with rice and a salad. The red sauce the meatballs were served in was very tasty and included onions, peppers and potatoes.
The next evening we went back for more chicken wings! We also ordered the lamb shish. The lamb was tender and juicy. So, so good! Our server remembered us from the previous night and both nights engaged us in conversation making us feel welcomed and appreciated.
I can't say enough about Harmans. If you like Mediterranean/ Turkish food, you must go there.

Second time I've been, as I'm working in London.

Excellent quality food, fantastic presentation, great ambience and outstanding service.

Prices are reasonable considering this is London and it's a restaurant.

This place is a disgrace for a Turkish restaurant. Not only they don't know how to serve customers, they also charge too much for their average food. Very old fashioned interior, outdated menu.

It doesn't appear as though many sit in to eat at this establishment, with most of the trade coming from takeaways. A nice dining area is spoilt a little by lackadaisical staff, long waiting times for food to emerge from the kitchen, and a draughty front door. When the food did arrive it wasn't stellar, but good value for money. As is the Sunday buffet - a different kind of hangover remedy.

Absolutely terrible I mean I'm not sure what authentic Indian food tastes like but I'm pretty sure it doesn't taste like that. I wasted so much money and time on this restaurant, absolutely pathetic. I feel like suing for false advertising. I ordered a butter chicken curry and a chicken tikka curry and everything came tasting like nasty ass coconut :/. Only the Bombay Aloo tasted like a curry and those are potatoes! Absolutely horrendous; bottom line - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE

Had a hot lamb Madras delivered and it was excellent. Best curry I've had since moving to Tufnell Park.

The worst and most bizarre takeaway experience. Our takeaway had taken nearly 2 hours to arrive, when I rang to find out what had happened I was told that it wasn't their fault and "have I not had to wait, like, an extra 5 minutes in Argos ever for example" (!?!) When I asked to cancel and get a refund I was told the manager would have to phone me back as he didn't know how to do that, I waited and no one rang back. I called again and was told the manager had gone out, even though I could hear him talking to his manager in the background!!! The manager then abruptly told me I'd get my refund and hung up, no apology at all. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS IT IS DISASTROUS.

Had the worst experience at Zia's last week. If I can discourage just one person from going here or ordering from here I'll be happy.

I went here last week with my boyfriend and parents fro a mid-week meal out. The starters were perfectly fine, although they did take quite a time to arrive. This should't be a problem for starter which are mainly just deep fried? However when they did arrive they were tasty enough. We started to notice a problem when after 1.5 hours our main courses still hadn't arrived. On a weekend night this might not have been a problem but at mid-week at 10pm and you still haven't eaten ( we went in at 8.30pm)...it's not great. The main courses eventually came and they were bland. Despite all 4 of us ordering completely different things, every dish looked and tasted identical. One of the dishes was completely in-edible, where a load of bones were offered up as 'chops'. After complaining about this and the waiter arguing that 'this is what chops are sir', he eventually agreed to take them off the bill. (Note to waiter: never try and argue a cut of meat with an irishman!!) After waiting ages for the bill, which they had the cheek to add a 12.5% service charge on to, we eventually left 2.5 hours after we went in and extremely disappointed. I'm not sure if this service charge is usually added, or if they used this as a way of claiming back the meal they'd taken off for us.

To make matters worse, I woke at 5am with tummy pains and nausea. I had to go to work that day, but spent most of it in the ladies being sick!! When I got home I found out that my boyfriend and his mother had been exactly the same. Needless to say, we all had the chicken.

I imagine the take-away is much the same - STAY AWAY!!!!! THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER NICE GOOD QUALITY INDIAN RESTAURANTS IN THE AREA :(
