Booked this hotel as part of a surprise trip to London for my Daughters 18th Birthday. On arrival after checking in we noticed the TV didn't work. I went to reception to inform them of this, the guy on reception came up to try and failed to get it working, he left and said he was going to get maintainence to come, after 15 mins of waiting the maintainable guy appeared but also failed to get the TV working.
He said I will have a word with my boss, we waited approx half an hour for news or return of a member of staff but no one came. We went to reception to inform we had to leave as we had a theatre booking to be told by reception the TV would be looked at tomorrow!!!
We went out early morning to go sight seeing, on return at 10pm we were informed the TV was sorted.
We changed and got into bed to watch TV to unwind to find the new replacement TV didn't work nor the remote control either. The TV was tuned into bbc1 only, had poor picture quality and was showing football highlights which neither of us wanted to watch.
Complained the next morning on departure day to be told by reception we shouldve informed them?!?!? ...Errrrrrm we did do this !!
Hotel not the best, bed very hard, limescale all around frame of shower door, only positive was location, close to Paddington station.
I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel.
I requested compensation to be told this cannot be done as manager not available.
Poor customer service indeed

Excellent location, just minutes from Paddington. Rooms are a bit small but very clean and have all the amenities. Very friendly staff Mari available 24 hours a day.

The hotel was a great home base of operations for our trip that had multiple legs of our journey - plane, train, automobile, plane.

This hotel did not match the images or services advertised online. The room was claustrophobic for someone with no previous experience feeling claustrophobic - barely room to open a suitcase, the shower was less than 1 metre square, and the bathroom had less then 50cm of changing room unless you wanted to straddle the toilet to do so. The supposedly free wifi might work…but my webpages are still trying to load. Cleaning staff do not understand the meaning of “do not disturb” signs which was a huge invasion of privacy (especially considering I had to change in the room because of the aforementioned limited space in the bathroom), and took a fan out of my room (during a warm week) that was quite obviously in use. When I asked reception staff about this and if I could have one to take back to my room, I was made to feel that this was a huge inconvenience to them. I would not recommend this travel to anyone wanting a good nights sleep, rest after travelling from the other side of the world, or just a nice stay in general. If I could give this hotel no stars, I would. I checked out 5 days early and booked a different hotel because I was so uncomfortable and staff refused to refund remaining nights even after I explained my complaints and was visibly upset.

The location of hotel is close to Paddington station, which is very convenient to travel around in London via public transportation.

Apart from the location, the hotel's rooms are not very good. When booking, the preferred room had a single shower in the picture, but we stayed in the last picture with two showers, which was very inconvenient. I don't know if other rooms don't have this option, as there are many options. Secondly, there were small insects crawling out of the bathroom every day, which was really speechless.

Went here every morning for breakfast while staying in London. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was very filling and helped me get through the first part of the day. Loved the servers!

Nice restaurant that caters well for young families. Great friendly atmosphere. The food was good and the bill was acceptable. Excellent location right next to Paddington Station. I'd take my family back there again so therefore I'd recommend this restaurant.

Average food at best, overpriced. Friendly staff which make up for it. We got sat down very quickly and the food arrived promptly, the wine selection was limited. Good for a quick bite before going out but I wouldn't choose this place for a date or having a nice meal with loved ones.

Food was very nice, but service was slow, almost non-existent despite not having many tables to attend at the time.

Good selection of the salad bar and all round variety in the menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also nice place for afternoon tea. Prices are reasonable, portion sizes good be a bit bigger but otherwise good value for money still. Service is reasonably quick depending on time of day but even through busy periods I have found service to be good. Staff are polite, friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. Good place for family of 4 to dine together as there are booth style seating available. Overall good experience.

A typical English pub in a great area, located in the heart of Paddington, right in front of the Paddington train and underground station. Also facing the Paddington Hilton hotel.

Friendly staff and quick service.

Tried their fish and chips, and it was good.

Would definitely visit again if in the area or travelling from Paddington station.

A budget option in Central London, very close to Paddington Underground and GWR Station. Very convenient location to/ from Heathrow Airport. Among negatives; constant noise of water and hand dryers from washrooms, cold rooms and even colder attitude of the lady approving the complimentary breakfast in the restaurant area. Apparently she was the owner of the property. Rest of the staff was very cordial and cheerful.

my worst nightmare, my cell phone, my passport and my money were stolen, someone broke the lock and took my backpack with all my things, I asked to see the images of the camera in the door entrance, they say they can't show me the images, until the police come and they would come the next day, a week waiting and the police never came. They told me that in the images they have seen someone who was not registered in the room in and out, that made me more angry, as it is possible that someone who is not in the room come, who provided the keys? the staff? It was all very confusing and in my despair they just told me that they felt it and that they could not do anything

Best Italian in London!
If you want excellent honest Italian food this is the place the pizzas,and pastas are excellent and reasonably priced and all the staff make you feel welcome. Can't wait to go back.

Not a bad restaurant at all !! First of all the service from the waiters is one of the best given to me. I sat with another member invited to order opening garlic bread with mozzarella and mozzarella buffalo. Main courses We ordered gnocchi 4 cheeses, lasagna and pizza with chicken and onion. The first and main dishes were excellent .. the pizza was a little disappointing.

Highly recommended!!! Fantastic restaurant, every time we go the service is wonderful, the staff is friendly and polite. Delicious authentic Italian dishes. Would definitely recommend and will certainly be back soon!

We are hear on vacation and love our food. Eaten at 2 Michelin Star restaurants this week and this place has the same quality of food and much better service than both those restaurants! Not to mention a fraction of the price! Restaurant was packed and food was out on the table within minutes... Thank you Ivan for fantastic service. We look forward to our next visit! :)
