The hotel's location relative to the subway is a bit awkward – not too close, not too far. It's a bit too long to walk, but not really worth taking a cab. The same goes for shopping nearby; it takes about ten minutes on foot. The room itself feels old, and the windows are even older and let in a draft. Close to paddington station, you can easily get to the Elizabeth line and other lines you can travel in London. The breakfast servers range of food and saves you a meal if you are in a budget travel.

The room was ok and the location is pretty close to Paddington station. There were stairs to the elevator. It was quite difficult with heavy suitcase.

This is a very new hotel with a strong artistic vibe. It's quiet and clean, which made my inner clean freak very happy. The restaurant offers a good selection of dishes, and the hotel is conveniently located near many attractions. Ordering takeout is also super easy.

The room was a bit small. I stayed there for nearly a week. The average price was just over 5,000 RMB. The location was quite convenient; the London Eye is about a ten-minute walk away. The room I booked didn't include breakfast. Four days of breakfast for one adult and one child cost over 1,800 RMB. The room facilities and location are good, just across the street from Blackfriars Station. There are also supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Very classic British hotel in Blackheath. Lovely location surrounded by greenery but easy to jump on transport to anywhere in London. The downside of the hotel is the rooms were hot. It was spring so not even summer. No aircon but we had a fan which didn’t do much.

I just live this traditional hotels, although some may say it is need to modernising, I feel its beautiful, along with the creaking floorboards. Traditional standards throughout, with really lovely staff.

Had a lovely stay at the Clarendon. We're not particularly that keen on London but, if we do have to go, we like to visit Blackheath and the location of The Clarendon is perfect. Staff are nice, breakfast is good and plentiful too and ye rooms are nice, comfy and clean.

Second time staying at this hotel. Fantastic location and service is great. There was an issue with our room being incorrectly allocated to start with, but the lady on reception sorted it straight away and found us 2 rooms opposite each other. Lovely rooms and very good breakfast. Will definitely stay here again.

Service was amazing, food was amazing, location was perfect, my only issue was the window would forcefully shut itself unless wedged open with something and there was nowhere to refrigerate drinks despite the insanely hot weather at the time of my stay, however my trip was amazing and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

The hotel is right next to Hyde Park in the heart of central London..walking distance to the tube and bus stop for easy reach to the city. The room is large and the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. There is no parking but there is are meters near the hotel entrance for a short visit. The only drawback is breakfast but acceptable.

Fabulous location - close to multiple tube stations, wide range of eating options in walking distance. Check-in was quick, easy and friendly. Rooms were larger than expected and well equipped (especially for charging devices and hanging clothes). Bathroom was function with hot, strong water pressure. Service was ok. Staff were approachable. Restaurant staff helped fill up our water bottles.

When I checked into the room, the bed was not made!!! The rubbish bin was filled with trash and there was a used dirty towel in the bathroom!!!  I was appalled! The on-duty manager was helpful and offered me another room.

Another excellent visit to this well located, great customer service orientated hotel. We only booked last minute so knew allocation of our room was limited and perhaps not the best had we booked earlier. Nevertheless it was spacious, clean, relatively quiet despite facing High Road. Good choice at breakfast . Parking o/night is best pre po sid at £15 as early bird . Highly recommended given Gunnersbury...

Apart from the good location, there is nothing special about it. It is very unremarkable. The facilities in the room. No one replenished the small soap. No one replenished the toothbrush. No one replenished the bath salt. The quilt was asked for an extra quilt on the first day, but it was taken away on the second day. Compared with this price, the cost performance is very low

Had a lovely welcome upon arrival and our room was ready early which was a real bonus. The reception staff were lovely, so helpful and friendly. We decided to use the spa facilities but unfortunaely the swimming pool was closed . We used the sauna and steam room and decided to come back the following morning to use the pool. Unfortunately, the pool was closed again which was really disappointing. Nevertheless...

We love this hotel! Location is walkable to Battersea Power Station and really close to the park. Amenities are well maintained as well. Our only complain is only 1 lift was working during our stay. But the rest are perfect.

Stayed here quite a few times now, the staff are always friendly and welcoming, the breakfast is good and reasonably priced, this hotel is 100% family friendly and there is also free overnight parking on the road directly outside. Perfect if your looking for somewhere to stay close to Central London or Westminster thats not over priced.

Really friendly staff, great price, excellent location. Negatives, room was small and lacked storage, but we were fine with that. If you need somewhere to stay and its just to sleep and wash, this is ideal. If youre after luxury, this may not be your best option. Staff were very friendly though. So I'm not complaining.

The hotel was great. It had two single beds and one double bed. Everything was spotless, and they even provided coffee, tea, and biscuits for breakfast.

The staff service was excellent, having put birthday items in my room for a birthday trip on my part. Balloons, a card, slice of cake and "happy birthday" written on the mirror were lovely touches. We had a fantastic stay- everything was perfect, from the staff being friendly and endlessly helpful, gorgeous and comfortable room and incredible food, service and views from the 7th floor bar/restaurant. This is my third time staying at this hotel. The location is excellent, right across from the Piccadilly Line's Hyde Park Corner station, making it very convenient to get to central London. It offers great value for money.

The location was great, the room was very clean, and the service was excellent.

The room was just okay. I booked for three nights and tried to change it to two several days in advance, but they wouldn't allow it. The hotel showed a real lack of respect for guests. I don't recommend staying there.

Nice budget hotel next to Aldgate East tube station, practical to move around the city. Rooms are cosy with all basic amenities required for your stay. Lobby is nice to have breakfast, a meal during the day or a drink, and practical to work as well. Great value for money.

We booked this hotel after searching for an ideal one for a very, very long time, and I am so glad we found it! Although the room was small and didn't have windows (both things were not a problem for us), it was very tidy and clean, and also had all of the amenities you could ask for (hairdryer, UK and EU plug, a USB entry, TV, a table and two chairs, three mirrors)! This is an excellent 3-star hotel. The beds are incredible, some rooms come with free breakfasts and it’s quiet! The rooms are surprisingly big - plenty of space, including places to hang clothes. The compact design means the frame of the bed has the tv at the bottom, plugs for chargers etc and glass holders, plus all the light switches (a feature I love - turning lights off after you’re in!)! ...

Montcalm was a lovely hotel however me and my partner were expecting more from a 5 star hotel. The room and bathroom was very very small, the windows were draughty and the outside road was very noisy due to the thin windows. The location was perfect however and the staff were all really friendly

Came to London for a last-minute business trip with a friend. The room was quite new and a decent size, but the soundproofing was a bit poor.

The room was very spacious, clean, and well-decorated, and the bathroom was also excellent. It was a very comfortable stay. The only drawback is that it's a bit far from the city center, and the supermarket is a seven-minute walk away. It's a quiet area with fewer people around.

The room didn't have a heater, and you'll need to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers as the hotel doesn't provide them. The restaurant on the first floor served pretty tasty food. Housekeeping was also very diligent, changing the soap daily.

Air con was broken in the room. Therefore very hot and got no sleep. Was sweating and very uncomfortable. Most horrible nights sleep. Stuck on 24 degrees although needed to be 17.

Nice room, nice leds… I think we got the room for handicaps but it was bigger in return, I messaged the hotel several times for booking doubled beds since I was going with a colleague but it wasn’t possible. Luckily enough beds were comfortable and didn’t transposed movements much.
