We stayed here this past weekend for our first trip ever to California, I cannot stress enough how amazing it was. The service was impeccable, from the front desk staff, the Terrace restaurant to the cleaning staff, everything was perfect. The rooms were spotless, the hotel itself is modern and the rooms so comfortable with all the amenities you could want. The gym was state of the art and the rooftop pool with its incredible views were everything we could have imagined. The location is close to everything we wanted to do. It was a 10-15 minute drive to Beverly Hills and Universal Studios and Hollywood BLVD with the walk of fame was within walking distance! Thank you Thompson Hyatt for the best weekend, we hope to see you again soon!

Jazz, Jazz and Jazz on Tuesday. Jazz eclectic is the event. Many great singers bless the microphone here. The band is outstanding and you just never know what celebrities might be in the house.

If you’re a singer you can even ask to sing and there’s a good chance they’ll let you. Do yourself a favor and make sure you actually can because the band can only do so much when you forget the words or can’t find the pitch.

The drinks are pretty good here on the rooftop on Tuesday but don’t forget your card because they don’t take cash. Honestly, they don’t take cash.

I was lured into this hotel by the photo of the pool on their homepage. I booked three consecutive nights on Ctrip and then booked another day on the official website to connect with the Ctrip booking, which works out to four nights. Not only was the room cramped, but the heavy metal band at the rooftop bar was incredibly loud until the early hours, severely disrupting my sleep. I was jet-lagged and it was very difficult. I tried to negotiate an early departure, canceling a day or two. Ctrip tried very hard to communicate, but the hotel was adamant. They said I could check out, but they wouldn't refund my money. For a room rate of $3,000-4,000, I could only stay four consecutive nights. My booking originally included breakfast, but they still charged me $185 in taxes and fees, which is equivalent to $4,000 plus the daily rent. The room was tiny, with no chairs or table, and no place to use my computer. The elevator was shared with bar patrons, so for safety reasons, I wouldn't recommend this stay unless you're a bar enthusiast. The pool was small, and the water was cold, so I was disappointed with the $10,000 I spent.

The location of the pool is great but super small for this size of a hotel. The pool are bar was OK. The view nice with Hollywood sign and downtown LA on both sides. So far so very 👍 The valet service was also excellent and reasonably priced... thanks for all...

I am a long-time Hyatt fan, so this review is based on my usual expectations. The resort is within walking distance of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but you will pass through a few sketchy blocks on the way.

Housekeeping was hit or miss. I expected fresh towels each day, yet we had to request them after a long outing at Universal Studios. On the bright side, coffee supplies were promptly replenished. The texting service made it easy to ask for extra towels and robes, and staff responded quickly.

Storage space felt limited for a family of four. The room featured a stylish glass closet but only three small drawers, which were not ideal for bulkier clothes. The mini-fridge was fully stocked with items for purchase, leaving no room for leftovers.

The positives deserve mention. The shower was spacious and beautifully designed, the beds were extremely comfortable, and everyone slept well. Though the hotel could not provide a fan when we asked, the fitness center was impressive and well equipped. We also enjoyed the pool area, and the pool side bar offered a relaxing atmosphere, even if menu prices were steep. My son loved the retro radio in the bedroom, and the overall décor was clean and modern, just different from my usual style. Finally, valet service was prompt and courteous every time.

All in all, we enjoyed our stay, but a few adjustments—especially daily towel service and more practical storage—would bring the experience up to the high standard I normally associate with Hyatt.

This hotel was everything I expected! It's on par with the star-rated Hyatt hotels in China. Many brand-name hotels in the US have mediocre facilities and service, but in China, they're transformed into luxurious five-star hotels with unparalleled splendor. When I first arrived in the US, I had high expectations for hotels of the same brand, so it's inevitable that there's a slight disappointment. However, the Hyatt is first-rate!

At check-in, we were greeted with a welcome champagne and complimentary drinks, available at the first-floor restaurant and rooftop bar.

The hotel's design, decor, and dining experience exceeded my expectations! Breakfast was served in the rooftop open-air restaurant. The weather was beautiful and sunny when we checked in, and we could see the Hollywood sign in the distance. It was incredibly relaxing, giving us a truly relaxing, vacation-like feel.

The king room we booked surprisingly came with a patio with furnished sofa chairs, perfect for enjoying a drink and chatting with family.

From check-in to departure, the hotel staff provided a warm welcome every moment.

The only downside is that the bustling West Hollywood district is just outside, and you could still hear the clamor of various parties outside until midnight, only settling down later in the evening.

But no hotel is perfect. The hotel's strengths outweighed its weaknesses, and the noise wasn't the hotel's fault. I would choose this hotel again.
