good hotel for one person only

This is a great little find of a hotel. Really well designed lobby and rooms with a helpful front desk. I would certainly stay here again the next time I pass through Los Angeles.

Let me talk about the good things first.
The bedding is very comfortable.
The only good thing is that the room is very small.
In California, where the rooms are very large, this room can't even fit a desk for $300.
It's very noisy.
You can hear the door across the street close.
The shower noises are so loud that I can't sleep at all.
Hotels usually end breakfast at 10 o'clock, but this one ends at 9 o'clock.
And you have to carry your luggage by yourself, there are no stairs.
The staff won't help you.
Don't stay here.

The location is good, close to UCLA, free coffee in the lobby 24 hours a day, restaurants and supermarkets nearby, the room is very quiet, but there is no elevator, but the waiter will help you take your luggage upstairs, overall satisfied 👍

The exterior and interior were cute and it was nice that it was small, but the room was close to the stairs and the footsteps were loud...
Also, after returning home, I received a final receipt via email and was charged for the minibar that I had not used. I was really offended, so I sent an email, but there was no response. It will probably be withdrawn as is. That was very disappointing.
There are very few amenities in the room, so please bring your own. When you open the bottle of water in the room, it says $7 in small letters, and if you use the bathrobe, it says $80. If that was the case, I felt like I shouldn't have put it there. It was a bit disappointing since it's a cute hotel.

This time I stayed in this hotel with my friends for more than ten days, and the overall feeling is quite good.

The hotel is very expensive during the graduation season. It is several times that of the ordinary time, and there is no breakfast. It's okay to go out. Average room. This hotel room is very ordinary. It's designed without much character and the decor is simple and plain. The furniture and facilities in the room are also basic, nothing luxurious or special. The walls may be plain without much ornamentation or murals. The beds may be standard doubles or twins, with no extravagant decorative pillows or ornate linens. Bathrooms can be simple, with basic showers, wash basins and toilets, and no extras or luxury. All in all, the hotel room has a plain and ordinary feel to it, nothing special about it.

A lovely French hotel with a slightly dated feel. The croissants for breakfast were nice. There is a large taget supermarket around, and there are trade joes selling fresh food, not bad

Very attentive staff. The manager came around and greeted each table. Very good service all around. The rockfish I had for the fish and chips fell apart while eating. So IMHO either the fish or batter were kind of a bad match. But overall the meal was fine. Perhaps a different meal selection would satisfy me better.

Experience was ordinary but expensive. I asked for a double pork chop done medium rare. It came cold, well done and tough. Service was good once we had new waiter. First one seem to think he was a surfer dude.

The staff was very nice and accommodating.
Emily our server was attentive to all our needs.
Dave the manager stopped by our table to introduce himself and made it clear that he was there to help in any capacity.
The brunch is a limited menu but we both found something on there that we liked.
The bloody Mary was perfect, right amount of spice.
The cheeseburger was cooked perfect medium rare with tater tots on the side.
Beware the cheeseburger, it is very messy but vey good.
The frittata was done a perfect easy as per our request.
Well done all the easy around we will return for sure!

Good variety of foods but very average flavor. It'll be about $10 for your lunch. Unless you're in a rush or is raining, I would prob pass on this place for lunch.

This place is conveniently located in the same building where I work so I've come here several times when I was too lazy to go elsewhere.
I've tried their salads and melts, but they are all sub-par. The food normally tastes pretty bland. The only thing I would recommend getting from here are their fries. I have no idea what they put in them, but they are simply amazing. Everything else on the menu can be pasted up.

I work in the building so go here as a last resort. Their food is fine, expensive for what it is in my opinion. The bagels with cream cheese are good, the breakfast sandwiches are huge. The salads are "meh" and expensive for what they are. The chili and/or baked potato are both good cheap lunch options.
Coffee is good, $2/cup for a medium. Go early or the good flavors will all be gone. If you go in the afternoon, chances are they won't even have coffee available.
Bring cash or load up your Bruin Card if you are a student/staff because they have a $6 minimum.

STK is an excellent choice if you are looking for a great steak and an lively, upbeat and fun atmosphere. I celebrated my birthday here and the staff went above and beyond. In addition to my birthday I have gone several times for dinner and the staff has always been attentive and helpful, even down to helping me pair my steak with the perfect sauce and wine. Drinks are great, food is amazing (Jalapeño Cheddar Grits), let's just say I've never liked grits, but THOSE are unbelievably delicious. I love this place and I will be back soon! Not to mention, you may run into a celebrity or two. Thanks for being great guys!

This place is overrated, I had reservations at 8:30 got there half hour early went to the bar have few drinks. Didn't get seated till 9:00, waiter had adduitde,my fiancée found bug in her drink, are food took over hour didn't start eating till 10:15, the potatoes where cold and hard. Place to pricey for terrible food. The only decent thing is drinks and music. Never go here again Mastros Steakhouse way better.
