My wife and I ordered room service and the food was pretty good, but there wasn't really anywhere to eat. It would have been nice to have a coffee table to put the food on while we sat on the couch.
Brunch at Grange was fantastic.
Area around the hotel is not the nicest, but found a good coffee shop (Temple Roasters) nearby.

Rough neighborhood, but complaints about that should go to the Governor of California, not the hotel management.
beautiful hotel, great location, nice staff. need gluten free food items in restaurant and snacks.also when asked for hot tea i was treated like a martian.
