Book it, you’ll love it. Stayed in a family suite with our 4 year old. The pull out couch in the living area and a door separating the bedroom was a big plus for us. You don’t have a great view of the ocean from the first floor but we were fine with that trade off. You’re steps from the beach and amazing food. The staff was so helpful, we loved that they offered sand toys, beach chairs and towels....

Service was really exceptional. Location was fantastic, and despite being right on the boardwalk and being on the first floor, it was very quiet and you could not hear anything from the room. Super close to Pacific Beach spots for restaurants. Hotel has bikes (including for kids!) that can be used and also has beach chairs and toys for the kids (super easy access to the beach). Personally, I feel that it is not worth the price. It is too late to check in at 4 pm. The hotel is very small, the swimming pool and hot spring are very small, and the room is relatively large, otherwise I can't find any advantages 😄

The staff at the super 8 Wyndham were very accommodating and very polite. The young gal went above and beyond to get me into a room even though I was early for my reservation.

Photos look way nicer than it was. The double bed room, one bed was on wheels- not sure why. Plus it's clearly more of a place for transients. Not sure why we were put all the way on the 3rd floor stacked next to them when it was just an overnight stay during the week and clearly not a lot of people staying there. Elevator was broke too. Overall, my stay at this hotel was quite pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the area.

We stayed for two nights and arrived late. The room had a noticeable smell, but we were too tired, so we pretty much ignored it. The floor was covered in thick dirt, which made me wonder why. Although the room looked clean overall, the dirt on the floor looked like no one had ever swept or vacuumed it. We wore slippers the whole time. Since we stayed out most of the time, we just ignored it.

It is really near the Downtown Portland Nordstrom . It is a great hotel. If you are a business traveler to shop at the Anniversary Sale. You don't have to travel to Seattle. But the Portland Downtown Nordstrom store is a 5. But the Fashion Valley is a 11-11. This is on a ten point scale. 1 is the worst. A perfect 10 is good for the next three years only . TFT.

[Pros] It's close to many of San Diego's major tourist attractions. It's also close to train stations (trolley and Amtrak) and bus stops, so transportation is easy. A supermarket (Ralphs) is also within a 5-minute walk, and since it's cheaper than other options, I recommend buying water and other items there. Our room was missing the chairs that were supposed to be at the table in the kitchenette. The bathroom needed more hooks for hanging wet towels to dry. There was 5 of us with luggage and when asked for a cart they didn’t have any available to use.

I went to the center of San Diego, and I still think the Hilton is good. The health environment and services are good. Safety comes first when I go out. I think the facilities are good and it is a pleasant travel experience.

It's very close to Sea World. There are many restaurants nearby, all within walking distance. The hotel is a bit old, and there's a stale smell when you open the door. The breakfast is okay. I stayed for a total 6 nights here. My flight arrived early in the morning and they offered me an early check-in even without requesting earlier. Enjoyed my stay here, the room is big. The breakfast is complimentary and it is tasty.

5 minutes to old town. Plenty of parking lots, but not guaranteed to be available to all hotel guests. Breakfast is limited. Coffee is above average. The overall hotel facilities and room quality is overstated in description and photo. Do not expect too much, even at this price.

Stayed here Friday night, May 15 to go see P!nkat Petco Park. Excellent room excellent location for any event in downtown San Diego more banged for your buck than the Marriott down the street. Odd building.  Narrow hallways, maze like.  Elevator is tiny.  Room was small and cramped.  Unpleasant combination of elevator, hallways and stairs to get to our room.   Nice simple snack shop in lobby.  Nice pool.  $50 deposit on a card when you check in.  I wanted to hate the place because of the building design but didn’t.
