DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in San Jose

Mediocre and slow. I came here to order food during my lunch hour because my coworkers had headed over here earlier. I ordered a cold soba with assorted tempura. After my friends all got their food, I told them to go on without me since we were already halfway through our lunch hour. I was waiting for a while and noticed that people coming in after me were getting their food, but I figured that since I had ordered something other than a roll, it was a bit longer. The person behind the register suddenly turned towards the wall of pending receipts and tore them all down. I asked her about my meal and she looked at me funny and repeated my order back to me questioningly. I told her I hadn't paid yet either, which told me that they had forgotten my order or something. I waited a bit longer after she had gone back to presumably put my order in. I finally got my order and went back. The cold soba liquid had ice cubes in it, presumably to cool it down. The tempura was okay. The soba noodles, when I opened it, had a receipt on it that had my order and a note that said, "DO NOT MAKE" What the hell.

I'm trapped in this industrial park for lunch, but I will never give my money to this place again.

Pricy for the quality of rolls served here. Nothing special though.

The real positive is the location, walking distance from corporate offices.

Service could use a lot of improvement, mistakes happen all the time. Severs always rushed. It almost feels like throwing the food on the table and disappearing to other dimension. You'd be hard pressed to find one of them checking on if you need a refill or otherwise.
