Posh South Beach in Miami Beach

They didn't let me in their hotel. They told me that they dont serve Florida resident.

Absolutely filthy - the mattresses were stained, and the sheets and pillow cases had dirty footprints on them. There was dirty underwear piled up in the bathroom. Would not recommend for women travelers at all. The front desk staff were great, but did not have the power to issue a refund and the hostel company we booked through wouldn't issue a refund either.

Well,before I get to the property itself,let me start with my check-in experience/staff,I prepaid through Expedias website and was notified at least 2 times about a $50 deposit for incedentials,and I was prepared for that,what I was not prepared for was an $11 a day resort fee that was not displayed on Expedias website,so I first show my receipt to the hotel front desk agent and he is adamant that I owe this fee,i said no I don’t because it was not recorded on Expedias website &even the Hostel sent an email at length upon booking about what was required at check in and it was not resort fees,I then call ******* and they confirm the same thing that the only additional charge would be the security deposit,mind you my battery is dying because I in error left the house without my charger but the staff was gracious enough to let me plug-in however I had to end up borrowing the money to cover resort fees 👎 It was late and I was tired of arguing and everybody knows that people who chose hostels normally do so because it’s economical,needless to say the resort fee is posted on Posh’s website but not on Expedias so as a traveler/customer I felt misused.I spoke with ******* at length about it and they promised me a refund but we will see how it goes,in the meantime the hotel and the travel website need to reconcile this,In other news the sleeping area was clean but not private and the under bed locker does not fit your all travel belongings,the area in the back was much more secluded

Terrible experience
Terrible experience at front desk. The room is listed as 2 people but it is actually two beds in a giant mixed shared room. Staff has no power - or desire - to help. Tried to contact the reservations department myself as the front desk was not calling them but they could not do much either. Ended up booking another hotel, therefore I cannot review things like cleanliness and comfort.

Is like a jail, don’t recommend staying here. There are more than 50 beds in the same room, is mixed, is not a separated female/male.

Cleanliness of the bathroom and shower was terrible.

There’s just 4 bathrooms an 5 showers for 5 people!!

People in the restrooms were complaining about their stuff getting stolen at the showers. Kitchen very dirty and people making noises and talking very loud until 12 am. Couldn’t sleep well.

Skip this place

The location was quite good, but the cleanliness was terrible. The sheets they gave as “clean” had stains on them. The toilets were very dirty, only cleaned once a day, and almost every time I went in there, I found feces inside. At night, nobody turned off the lights and there was no management controlling the noise.

There were no outlets in the dorm, so charging my phone was a real struggle. The lockers under the beds were not practical at all — every time you opened or closed them, they made so much noise that it disturbed everyone around.

Avoid
Wrong kind of crowd that does not respect quiet hour or other people. Zero service and no monitoring. No soap or shampoo in any of the bathrooms and the lack of cleaning and ventilation shows. AC barely ran the entire time. People where talking from their bunk and playing load videos all day and thought out the evening
