Save yourself and enjoy your trip by booking elsewhere Hotel is very very old musty annd outdated. Lobby is very shabby looking, Elevator is not working, had to take stairs to Second and third floor. Room 206 was so cold we were freezing maintenance came and covered ac vent but it was still too cold. We put the sign up to make up beds and hopefully fresh towel only to learn that they don’t have light cleaning service daily. No water or coffee offered. Only perks is that this hotel is right on ocean drive opposite the beach. And you can sign out beach towels. The walls are so thin. This is not where you go to have a good night sleep.

Hotel elevator was not in service! Our room was on the 3rd floor so we had to walk up flights of stairs with our luggage's.
The room I was in didn't provide cups in the washroom for basic use, brushing teeth etc. The sink was a small pedestal type so it was very tight spaced to even put stuff on.
Location was great though, right at south beach on a one-way road, walkable distance to Collins Ave & Washington Ave to local stores and restaurants. Restaurants along Ocean Dr was expensive but you're here for the scenery!

Ok for one night stay. Very old and outdated. Bathrooms very small and missing most of the door to the shower. (Not sure if that was supposed to be on purpose). Beds very very firm. Loud. Could hear people from three rooms over (if you know what I mean) and every conversation and foot steps from the hallway. Door had old school locks and didn’t seem very strong. Great location and if you just needed a place to sleep worth the price. Parking another issue all together. We left early morning and the number for the valet no one answered or any answering service. Had to wait forever until someone from the hotel was able to help us.

Reception appeared to be completely disinterested in us as guests. The elevator was not working and no offer of help to go up the stairs with luggage until we insisted. The elevator has been out for four months. Wifi was unsecure and McAfee suggested I not use. Noisy hotel guests through the night

Really lousy service. We paid for a king bed ocean view months in advance and they didn’t even bat an eye after checking us into a standard room with a solid dumpster view the first night. We tried to be accommodating and accept the room for a discount/refund. They refused as the room was paid for in advance. They waived the resort fee ($20/night for rough towels and worn out folding chairs) and then leveraged that against us when we sought a refund from our 3rd party booking agent.

Frankly I’d rather Hilton/Marriott buys up the whole street and turns these dilapidated, antiquated places out. Unless you get a great deal on the room don’t bother with this one.

Only upside is the location, which they know and I gather is the main reason they don’t care about taking care of their guests.

Stayed for 7 nights. Agree with most of the previous comments: the online pictures are incredibly misleading and I think this is not good commerce practice!! (be prepared: it's way older and smellier than it looks). Good sides: it's cheap and well located (although it is noisy because of location so if you want to relax and sleep well this is not the place) + the staff is friendly. I think the worst for me was the AC: it was impossible to turn it down or off...and the windows were condemned. And I think this is absolutely outrageous !!! It is common knowledge that interior air is extremely polluted and that windows should be opened everyday. The AC looked like it was not properly maintained + the windows could not be opened = extremely unhealthy place that I vigorously not recommend to people with asthma, sinuses or any respiratory conditions. I left with a nose on fire and I felt like I was freezing to death each night. Really problematic. Windows and AC should be changed asap, this is a matter of customer's health.

A very nice restaurant right on Ocean Drive which is a center of activity in South Beach. Reasonably priced given the location. Our food and service was excellent. The photo is a view from the restaurant.

Terrible service. Sneaky discount baiting.. Saying they have but one get one free drinks and you get the bill for a 45 dollar drink! Plus they double charged me for the drink anyway!

Be careful to ask about drink pricing, be careful about uncharging ad-ons, and NEVER let your credit card out of your sight when paying! I only go to Bayside and Ocean drive with out of town company. I live here, and KNOW better...but when having a nice time, I have slipped and let the server take my CC at Bayside last year, , and now here, last week...and have had my credit card info stolen and USED from both places :( Miami is unique and can be fascinating - but be vigilent in high tourist areas!

Wish I could leave 0 stars as horrible service 20 percent gratuity added on and waitress cooked the bill adding $ for premium alcohol and my 25 dollar corona. Burger was ok fries cold ....dont do it!!!!

Service was HORRIBLE! We asked about 5 times for our bill and the waiters kept claiming it wasn't their table. We had to literally get up to get their attention and all came rushing at us claiming we were trying to leave without paying. When we stated the problem they were extremely rude, even when asked to speak the manager, she was equally as rude- as she was a part of them. The waiter blatantly lied about checking up on us "5 minutes ago" and stated she would call the police. When I told her to go ahead because we did nothing wrong - she obviously didn't. In the end two waiters ended up telling us "eff you" and the manager told us she didn't have time to deal with us after we paid. Horrible horrible customer service! Would never go back . Really ruined the south beach experience for us. Besides the service the chicken sandwich was extremely bland , would never go back there- if they had a rating less than one star, I would choose that.

Had a $17 sandwich (South Beach prices, I guess). The bread was dry, hard, & flaking everywhere (prob not the freshest), the meat was chewy maybe with fat, and the only flavor the sandwich had was from the ~raw~ onions. I tried to enjoy myself by sitting out front, but with all the traffic noise you're better off sitting inside or using earbuds with music. Not sure if I would eat here again.

The food may be good but if you can't get waited on how do you know. Waited 15 minutes and was not waited on. When I asked if they were open, they said yes and would get someone to wait on me. I gave up and left.
