Really enjoyed my stay here. The location is amazing, an easy 5-10 mins walk from Waikiki beach and close to restaurants, shops, and attractions like Diamond Head trail. As a solo female traveller I always felt very safe in the area, including early morning or at night. The hotel is peaceful, with a lovely bar and cosy atmosphere, and things like free daily slushies and snacks at reception, and biscuits in the room on arrival are great touches. The bar staff are excellent and super friendly. The rooms are large and good standard, with a great boho vibe, although the bathrooms are very compact and damp, and some upgrades around the hotel are starting to be needed. Room cleaning was not always thorough, but this wasn’t a major issue during my stay. For the price point this hotel is an excellent choice and I look forward to returning.

There's a small courtyard on the first floor and a small balcony upstairs. The common area is cozy and has a small swimming pool.
Cleanliness: Fair, but there are some insects on the first floor.

This was my first trip to Hawaii.
The atmosphere was wonderful, giving me a local Hawaiian feel that you don't get at hotels.
The location is perfect, with easy access to all the tourist attractions around Waikiki Beach. The amenities in the room are a little limited for two people, but we brought our own, so it wasn't a problem.
The hotel's beach and attached bar have a lovely atmosphere. The room was also clean. My room was near the front desk on the first floor, but since the attached bar is nearby, I was a bit concerned about hearing people talking outside at night. I appreciated the free beach chair rentals. The staff were friendly and polite, which was nice.
They only speak English, but I was able to get by with body language.

The jacuzzi was under maintenance and not available to guests, in which was not implied on their site. Bathroom was infested with black ants and room floor had dust like debirs.

Nice stay here with the white sands hotel, staff were nice and near to beach.

Nice hotel in the heart of Honolulu.
The room was spacious, but unfortunately the view from the balcony was of the neighboring building and there was no elevator.
Check-in took quite a long time and the bartender was also quite grumpy.
The rest of the staff was very friendly.

All in all, we would come again.

My husband and I and some friends had dinner here and it was incredible! Every one of our meals was delicious..we had salmon, short ribs, and filet mignon which was all done to perfection. The view is incredible!! You can watch the sunset and see the surrounding areas. Just incredible! A must visit when in Honolulu.

We came here with another couple for dinner, And had an excellent experience!

The food here is absolutely delicious! And the sunset views are absolutely beautiful! We ordered the steak and salmon along with the spare ribs. All of our meals were cooked to Perfection. We would also recommend ordering the shrimp as an appetizer.

We recommend coming at 5 p.m. or so in order to catch the sunset which is around 6 p.m.

Can't wait to come back in the future

Came here for dinner with my partner and we absolutely loved it!!
The restaurant feels very elegant and the service was impeccable and the view is amazing. (Although the night we went there was thunderstorms. The city skyline and the lighting was awesome to look at while we ate dinner)
This place is a must!
The corn soup was so so good and the steak... omg the steak! Was the best meal I've had for such a long time.
The menu is simple yet sophisticated and delivered to the highest standard.
To say we enjoyed it is an understatement.

Was my partners birthday and they even remembered to write happy birthday on the dessert plate.

Out of 6 dishes basically two were absolutely amazing. The scallops and the New York steak. The $200 surf and turf was crazy overpriced for what you got. The view was incredible. I did feel a little dizzy at some point if I looked outside too much

Sat at the bat. All of the bar tenders were great. Drinks were all good. They were very attentive and sociable. Food was great, service all around was great. Love the staff. Will definitely recommend and be back.

If you are in Waikiki Beach, and are looking for good food, at decent prices, but prefer excellent service and feeling more like family, rather than just another customer to get in and rushed out .... Then stop in here, and ask for Gabe. He is beyond friendly, he takes care of you, and he pays attention to your needs. His manager, Connie is excellent. Ate there on a quiet Thursday afternoon, and came back on a crazy Friday evening that was packed. Waiting for a table for 20 minutes, to be in Gabe's section was worth it. Our service was excellent. The food came out quickly, and on the second night, I left feeling more like family, than a customer. If you go, and you read my comment, please tell them Ham said "Hi". These people embody the concept of hospitality.

Food was excellent my wife and I came a few times during our trip. We had both power bowls, which are a healthy but flavorful. We also had lemon chicken, and the truffle pizza. I also tried the chicken meatball smash which was great, it came with a couple or salad. The staff all three times were helpful, and very attentive.

Best pizza ever. Avocado chicken basil spinach pizza. WOW. I could eat this all night long. Also, the pesto pasta was sooooooo gooooood. Please go here if you want DELICIOUS food and great service too.

Excellent service. My food didn't come out great so had to be sent back however the steps they took to resolve the issue was wonderful. I was offered another meal and dessert to make up for it. The staff were lovely even though my child spilt a smoothie across the table. Keep up your lovely service! We shall be back for the steak shortly

We always come for the lunch menu. They have a delicious and tasty bone in ribeye steak which is excellent. For the lunch menu we also order the lobster Mac and cheese which has big chunks of lobster and tons of cheese. The lunch menu is a great deal. They also have outside seating. The last few times we were there, Dave F. Was our sever, and he was excellent every time. He was very helpful and professional. We love this place and will continue to come back.
