Front desk is very friendly. We arrived early, had our luggage stored and also checked in earlier . The room is very spacious with beautiful harbor views. We watched sunset in the room, beautiful! The state capitol building and Iolani palace are just two blocks away. Chinatown is within 10 minutes walking distance. Many good restaurants available

They charged me 425 dollars for being a smoker. the night before security was checking rooms for smoke on floor and found I was not smoking. I stayed here so many times Few times service has been unacceptable. This is how the treat disabled veteran wanting to enjoy time by his self. don't come here

The room was really nice and the staff were really nice and respectful. Just had a little odd issue with the toilet but didn’t bother me much.

Based off the reviews, we were worried of the bad things people were saying. We worried about the homeless people issues, of the smell that had been reported but we were very please to see our room was extremely clean and we saw about two homeless people there. The neighborhood is decent, there’s a 7/11 on the same block which is very very convenient. Our room was bigger than expected, no one ever used the pool so we had it to ourselves. Staff were friendly and nice. I was so scared of being disappointed by this hotel but it outdid my expectations. It’s also provided a great view of the ocean and sunsets. (Not just the pier) it is about 13 min to Waikiki which is not bad since we had a car and spent most of the time trying to conquer every part of the island, not just Waikiki. Overall I would book this hotel again and def recommend it to my friends.

It was near Bishop St., so it was a bit far from Waikiki Beach, but there was a bus stop nearby and the staff were all very friendly. The room was spacious and clean, and I would definitely stay here again if I go to Hawaii again.

The room condition was good considering the old building. Personally, I think it was because it was an ocean view, so the view from the room was great. The staff was friendly and helped me check in early, which I was very grateful for. There was a Korean mart, 7/11, and Paris Baguette right next to the hotel, so it was convenient. The airport is also easily accessible by taking city bus number 20.

I was initially very disappointed with the horrible 1 bed suite on level 15 that was allocated - it looked nothing like the booking I made - old uncomfortable furniture & noisy A/C, so the wonderful supervisor, Niz, changed my room to level 36 which was gorgeous - it had a great view !!- thank you Niz - your a star! Location was great next to all public buses so easy transport around the island. Walmat next door was great. Lap pool was good but kids pool under construction.
