Excellent location , old hotel , many good restaurant nearby .

The room was a good size, had plenty of storage, was clean, and was in a great location that was very walkable. The staff were helpful, although I had trouble contacting them before my stay (I attempted both through the chat here and by phone, but neither was successful).

The location is great walkable to so many places. The room is clean and cozy. Hotel also provided a vending machine which’s I love cos I just don’t wanna go outside for some snacks in the cold weather

This is my third time staying here. All three times I've had different style of rooms. All of which is beautiful. The hotel doesn't offer much as far as breakfast, staff does their job but not much more but that's ok. The real charm of this is the architecture, history and the spirits. This is a wonderful, clean hotel with friendly staff. We stayed 4 nights and this location is perfect for being a walking tourist and you can easily use the bus and train here as well. Our son attended an event at IIT and this place was a great place to stay. Just minutes from campus. The room was clean and had just been remodeled. Free parking is a bonus. Love this hotel chain. I’ve stayed in a Moxy in almost every city I’ve ever visited. This hotel lived up to everything I loved about the Moxy. This should be a five star review but the ac/heat for some reason was set to a motion sensor. It’s January and I keep waking up out of my sleep because the room would get ultra cold. Idk who thought of that but it’s ridiculous.

We were in town to attend Loyola Universities new student tour. This hotel is conveniently located. We were pleasantly surprised with staff, cleanliness and comfort of this hotel. Hotel is in a great location but is in need of a revamp/modernisation. The co-working space and lobby are nice and modern but they do not reflect the room. Beds were clean but the room carpet was a little dirty. Bathroom was old but the water pressure was good. Overall ticks the box to visit downtown but not special in anyway.
