Wifi had some issue, without that everything was fine
Great stay, great breakfast and location.
Great location! Near Michigan Avenue (great place to shop) and pristine nearby restaurants.
Everything was perfect. Great view, checked me in early, comfy bed, great location, etc. Steve who works out front is especially lovely and helpful.
Great location in the city centre. Clean and spacious room with an amazing view (34th floor). Free Wi-Fi in the lobby and in the room only if part of the loyalty program.
It was very clean and great location. There is a parking garage right across. Hotel was right in the middle of downtown

The best thing of this hotel is th location. It is in the center of the one Chicago’s main avenue, with many stores, shopping, attractions nearby, etc.
We are on night two of our two night stay. The location of this hotel is truly prime—within easy walking distance to an abundance of food, entertainment, and nearby attractions, which is a major plus! The check-in staff, especially Than, was wonderful. While we were due a complimentary room upgrade, unfortunately none were open at the time. As a kind gesture, he instead provided us with two complimentary...
Lupe was amazing when making the reservation, a true gem. We stayed in a suite for 2 nights, and it was perfect. Room was not overdone and roomy, a bathroom for us and a bathroom for our girls. Corner suite was so fun for them to see the city from many views. Small mishap, we called the hotel before we left (2 hour drive and a time zone change) and talked to Brenda who said our room was ready so we...
FYI-Room service delivery fee is $8. Gratuity is automatically added but does not show up in the cart. It only shows up AFTER you pay, on the receipt. We ordered 3 milk and cookies and the final bill was $45 ($25 for the food item and rest on delivery, tax, automatic gratuity and extra tip)! The hotel itself is nice. Rooms, bathrooms and facilities are clean. Staff is courteous. Pool is beautiful...
We stayed here for one night with our 7 month old and we really enjoyed it! We had a great view on the 23rd floor and the employees are really kind and helpful. Breakfast buffet was crazy expensive but was honestly very good. My only complaint was our room was SO HOT, there was no way for us to turn the heat off so I was sweating lol. But very accommodating for us and the baby
The service was satisfactory, the environment was beautiful and unique, the hygiene was excellent, the staff were courteous, the rooms were clean, the facilities were complete, the food was safe, the taste was unique, and the amenities were comprehensive.

I was expecting 3 beds in the room since I was Charged for three occupants, 2 people have to share a bed
Perfect place, but the service is terrible. All staff don't smile. I kept asking for some slippers, they said run out of it. I didn't get it till I left five days later. I asked for room service every day, but actually they made it every other day. I could not understand it.
I stayed here for a week and had a blast. This hotel was in the perfect location to get around the city easy. I had easy access to bikes right outside the hotel to ride around Chicago. The 25 dollar credit they give you daily really helps when you get back after long day of taking the city in. I ordered room service a few times and the burger was and chicken club were both really good. This is also...
We've stayed at the Westin many times. Rooms are always quiet and clean. Their breakfast us outstanding! I do REALLY miss the hotel providing Garrett popcorn during your stay. It was a great addition. Now, they've included admission to venues we won't likely attend. Bring back the Garrett popcorn!
Location is great on Michigan Ave. right across from the Hancock building. While the corner spacious room was, indeed, spacious, the "corner" aspect left a bit to be desired. The one (short) wall looked out across Michigan Ave. at Bloomingdales, but, being on the fourth floor, the longer wall of windows looked out on the roof of the building next door and all the glory of its rooftop units and duct...
I'd like to thank Ryan, Mike and Isaiah of the Cafe. They were an amazing trio. Fast service, super friendly, always charming and always professional. We witnessed a few colorful characters giving them a hard time during our stay. They handled everything with patience and grace. They also remembered our drinks. My mom only drinks decaf coffee and I love black tea. They made sure we were taken care...

I expected a little more from a 4-star hotel. I’ve been to a good amount and I think Fairmont was the most disappointing of the bunch. When we first entered our room as went straight for the huge windows. It was a nice view overall, but then we found a sock behind the mini-bar. We let it go considering it was behind the bar/next to the couch. The location is great since it’s right near Millennium...
Clean, friendly check-in. By midnight we couldn’t handle the screaming child in an adjoining room. Front desk listened to recording for 2 seconds before promptly giving us a new room. We went from 32nd to 22nd floor tho. City view to partial view of MDaley Park. Hotel Restaurant was not equipped to handle their offered breakfast package. 2nd morning we opted to get ours “to go” since we couldn’t be...
I would recommend staying here. It was a great location, easy walk to the magnificent mile & Millennium Park. We used SpotHero find a very affordable covered parking with In-N-Out 24 access that was literally in the building attached to the hotel. Hotel staff was very nice. The room was a nice size, we had a nice view and a little couch in our room. That was nice to sit with a glass of wine and look...
This is one of the most delightful hotels I’ve stayed at. It was greeted every time I came to the hotel. Every employee treated me with kindness. The lobby was stunning (they were putting up Christmas decorations) and there was plenty of lounge type seating for me to enjoy a quiet moment outside of my room. My room on the 36th floor was lovely. Large bathroom with a separate tub and shower. I loved...
Be careful, there is a hidden charge "A $25 daily urban experience fee will be charged to each room" at this hotel Fairmont Chicago - Millennium Park. The breakfast charge is very tricky if you have prepaid. 1st you have to argue that you have prepaid for the breakfast for each person in the room. 2nd you need to ask and confirm with the front desk how much the credit is for the breakfast you have...

There was an unknown $200 fee that trip.com is not aware of that the hotel calls a "resort fee". This makes a good rate for staying in downtown Chicago very expensive. On the part of the hotel and possibly trip.com, this is deceptive. This fee is not published and there is no real alternative to paying it. We've stayed many times at this hotel for convenience to our convention which is held across...
Great location, friendly, kindly staff, fantastic rooms, excellent cleanliness, comfortable beds, great view, beautiful view of Chicago Downtown, very good gym, all the equipment is new, truly an excellent hotel.
The hotel exceeds my expectation! The room is quite large with good amenities, and it gives me $50 dining credit. So I have a big breakfast and the avocado toast in the restaurant is absolute good. The front desk is also really nice and friendly. I feel really worthy and the hotel is well architected with good location. Definitely recommend it to others!
The scenery is absolutely beautiful, I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Chicago!
We stayed at this hotel for two nights. Everything was fine on the first day, but the problem began on the evening of the second day when we returned to our room after a long day of sightseeing. We specifically chose this hotel because it advertised all rooms as smoke free, but when we got back to the room, we could smell strong scent of ****. Whether it was the housekeeper or if the smell was coming...
Environment: Absolutely stunning! You get direct river views! It feels very safe here, and right downstairs is the city center. Service: The hotel doesn't provide water! The small shop downstairs sells water at a high price, so I recommend buying it from a larger store. Hygiene: The bedding is great! Shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are all provided, just remember to bring your own toothpaste and...

The Hotel location is perfect! Very centric in downtown, close to offices and tourist attractions.
The room is very, very big, especially the bathroom, but it doesn't look very high-end or comfortable. Maybe the facilities are a little old? But it's very good.
Great spot. It was pleasant even with some exterior construction happening during the day. Nice staff. Large lounge and sitting area. Gym was excellent. Room had some dust and terrible view, but those were just unlucky things. Very happy overall.
Excellency in room maintenance and services. The most clean room and comfort beds in downtown. Hard to find a speck even in any corner of the room. Liked the all marble decor bathroom and super friendly front desk. Gotta try cheese plate for room service. 7-yrs old cheddar, brie, and goat cheese will amaze you. Although, brace yourself for daily convenience fees, front desk fee, and room service fees...
Suites are great, but the rest of the hotel rooms are median. Cleanliness and the location is optimal, but the service can be 50/50. I have been greeted and experienced excellent from housekeeping staffs, but the valet staff at the counter especially was shadowing. Overall I would try other hotel near to compare.
The hotel is great. Very classic JW hotel - old school but very well kept. Doesn’t get 5 starts because I personally like something more modern. The views are not very spectacular as you are surrounded by other tall buildings

Rooms look very dated and are relatively smaller. The TV system will remind you of early 2000's. There is no coffee maker in the room. Lobby is the best part of the hotel look and feel. Room hallways are very dark.
Great location to stay near Navy Pier but it is needing some updating. Rooms are in a little rough shape but bed was very comfortable. Also I always like having coffee in my room in the morning. You have to go down to the lobby to get your cup of joe to enjoy. We also had elevator noise in the room we were in. It was quite loud. All in all, just a building that needs a little love and $ to charge ...
We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful view to the lake. The room was clean, and it was specially decorated for our wedding night. Our breakfast was included. We were a little hesitant about the food since the restaurante does not have such great reviews. However we were both very happy with the breakfast. The swimming pool was nice.
Just meh. Will not stay here again, unfortunately the Marriott courtyard was sold out during my stay so I had to choose this one. This hotel is having an identity crisis as it’s marked as a luxury hotel but the rooms are rough. First off, I did not receive an upgraded room for my birthday nor anything special and as a Marriott high level member this was a bit disappointing. First time this has happened...
Spent a weekend in Chicago from LA and The Wade was an amazing hotel experience. The room was a great size with great city views, was very clean and the hospitality was amazing. Good location and good service
The room was great-only comment is that it would be helpful to have more drawers for clothing and a shelf or drawer in the nightstands.
There was dirty socks in the bathroom and left over food in the mini fridge. The body wash dispenser in the shower was empty. Poor maid service. The place is in a great location but interiors are outdated.
My fiancé loved it. We had a great time. She actually wants to move there.
Staff was friendly and welcoming and the view from our room was amazing.
From the moment of entering the Westin the cleanliness is noticeable. The lobby and bar area is super clean and comfy! Every employee we made contact with was incredibly helpful and nice! The location of being on the river is very nice too.

Front desk staff definitely skipped the hospitality portion of training. From the greeting to the checkout no smiles no warmth not very inviting. The hotel and room itself was beautiful, great location but most likely will go to another hotel next time.
Be prepared to be treated like you are the most important guest at the hotel. The staff here is incredibly professional, helpful and service oriented. Every single one.
Too expensive for such a basic room. Cheap towels and toilet paper. Broken wall switches. Handle on bathroom door broke. Just a basic room with nothing special. No refrigerator or microwave. For almost $5000 for just 3 nights I had to pay for valet parking and all food (not even free snacks). Complimentary breakfast would have been great for $5000. Bathroom was nice but just a waste of money...
Beautiful, updated property with modern elegance situated in the heart of Chicago with access to literally everything. Will definitely be returning!
The rooftop service was slow even with not many people dinning in. Otherwise, the entire hotel stay was AMAZING AND SUPER FANCY

I could not stay at the hotel because of high fever. Fantastic property and the best hotel check-in/recepetion we have ever experienced. The best gym, great rooftop space, huge rooms, central location in the middle of it all. (Better than Four Seasons, Andaz, Fairmont, Waldorf, Cerullian Tower etc)
The room was spacious and comfortable, and the air conditioning was quiet. Both the front desk and room service were excellent. We could even open the sofa bed and make it into a bed. The location is fantastic with amazing views, especially being able to see the Navy Pier fireworks perfectly. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.
The room is spacious, and the bathtub is huge. The service and location are excellent – right on the Magnificent Mile, perfect for shopping.
I was surprised by the vibe of this hotel. The staff is so warm and welcoming. Recommended for the location as well.

The location, service and amenities were wonderful. The club level was also well worth it, with plenty of food and drink options for both adults and children.
I’ve stayed at all of the best Chicago hotels and the Langham is up there with the peninsula as best in the city.  My one complaint is that the pool, specifically the water, was not clean.  The large pool was very murky with visible debris on the bottom and the hot tub had a dark line of dirt/skin at the water line.  That said, the rest of the hotel was pristine and perfectly maintained.
Remarkable stay! I will return for my next stay in downtown Chicago. Have stayed at other 5 Star Hotels but this one is now my #1 choice. Thank you to all the staff that made my family's stay a memorable one.
Love this hotel. Will be back by end of year to come visit the beautiful city and beautiful hotel again.
Excellent stay overall, staff was super helpful, they helped me throughout the my 5 nights stay, the spa was super relaxing.
The location is very good, opposite the Trump Building, downstairs is the river, and you can walk directly to the Gorgeous Mile, parks, art galleries, etc. There are also many restaurants to choose from around, and it coincides with a large-scale music festival, and the atmosphere is very good. Facilities: Very complete. Hygiene: Very clean. Environment: Good. Service: Excellent. The nightly turndown service was particularly satisfying, and most of the staff were very polite. Some even spoke Chinese, which made me feel very welcome.
Best hotel in the Chi. Jenny at the front desk is amazing and kind. Usually dislike hotels out in the US cause they so terrible compared to other countries, but this was comparable to the peninsula in thailand/shanghai or bellagio in shanghai
The details are the real thing. The Chinese-style design of the guest rooms is elegant and grand, and the food in the Chinese restaurant is amazing. Many luxury brands have big branches in the United States, and the Peninsula can still maintain its consistent level and deserves praise.
Special feeling, good location, good service Service: also very good
Very good, but it happened to be the New Year's Day, and the special noise outside was heard in the middle of the night. The restaurant is very good and the service is nice. It's just that the security allowed on the night of the welcome was a bit too much, which was not very comfortable.

I wanted to give 5 stars for the service received by Latonya!! She made a not so great experience feel much better by her energy, warmness and overall excellent customer service. Excellent day everything was picture. Perfect love their rooftop bar. Staff is very friendly. I would stay here again without hesitation. The price point was phenomenal.

The Godfrey has a great location. The rooms are clean, modern and well maintained, just don’t get an end room on the 10th floor. Right outside my end room were the strobe lights for the top of the building. The curtains do not cover the windows fully so the strobe lights come through making your room a rave until midnight. The Godfrey nails it when it comes to location—smack in the middle of River North with everything walkable. The rooftop bar is a real highlight: great views, solid drinks, and a fun scene without trying too hard. Now for the con: the bed. It was very soft. Like, sink-in-and-question-your-spine soft. Went for a business trip, has a very cool rooftop bar and a restaurant. Great rooms, great products in the bathroom as well. Good views depending on the side you get. Room service was top notch. Although getting water is a pain, the front desk only gives you 2 small bottles at a time.
