We have stayed here for the Chicago Auto Show the past 3 years. The venue is connected to the hotel and is a short walk from your room. The rooms are always comfy and clean. A couple restaurants to choose from and a bar
The rooms: Well appointed and meticulously clean. If you can get a room on a high floor, worth the extra money. Check out the views from my south-facing room! Not to mention the easy access to the lakefront
We attended the 2026 Chicago Auto Show, at the convention center, which is attached to the Hotel. Our room was clean and recently remodeled. All the staff was friendly and respectful
College friends and I flew into Chicago to watch the Minnesota Gophers play Northwestern in football at Wrigley Field in November 2025. We ended up staying at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place
This was based on a recommendation from my sister-in-law who had a colleague running the show at the hotel. The staff were friendly and courteous. The rooms were really nice and comfortable
The Valet parking service was helpful and easy. We even were allowed a late check out, for no charge

It's my first time staying in Sheraton Riverwalk Chicago and the experience was awesome! View was good, everything was convenient and it's highly recommended for everyone to stay there 🥰🥰
The bed was so comfortable which I appreciated. You can sit outside along the river and watch the boats go by. Nice little band playing near the lobby inside. All the staff was polite and helpful
Our stay was absolutely awesome! The staff were so helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and we will return.
Nearby dining is delicious! The rooms are large, plenty of towels, mini fridge. Room service daily was excellent
When I checked in, the staff were helpful and friendly and there was no wait. The room was large, the beds were comfortable and the view of the River from the hotel room window was great
One of the best hotels on the Riverwalk district. It is right along the river and very convenient. When I checked in, I got upgraded to a high floor because of my titanium status

Great location in the city centre. Clean and spacious room with an amazing view (34th floor). Free Wi-Fi in the lobby and in the room only if part of the loyalty program.
Everything was perfect. Great view, checked me in early, comfy bed, great location, etc. Steve who works out front is especially lovely and helpful.
I was in this hotel for a conference so my need is quite minimal. Generally speaking the hotel is in a great location that is easily accessible
It was very clean and great location. There is a parking garage right across. Hotel was right in the middle of downtown
Great location! Near Michigan Avenue (great place to shop) and pristine nearby restaurants.
Great stay, great breakfast and location.

We booked a lake view, and it was stunning! The pool was crowded, so unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to use it
Everything was fine, but when I returned to the hotel the second night, after taking a bath and using the bath towel, I found a pair of used old socks. They were neither mine nor my friend's
You have to pick up bottled water yourself from the front desk. The location is superb, directly across from the lakeside and a park. It's within walking distance of Millennium Park and the Art Institute of Chicago
Excellent environment, centrally located with convenient access to all attractions. The staff were exceptionally gentle and polite. If I visit again in the future, I will definitely choose this place again.
My room had a city view; while it wasn't a lake view, I could see the tall buildings outside. The room was spacious, and although the decor was a bit dated, it was exceptionally clean
Excellent hotel! The location is incredibly convenient. The hotel has a rich history and cultural heritage, situated right next to Grant Park, offering a great environment

The location is great walkable to so many places. The room is clean and cozy. Hotel also provided a vending machine which’s I love cos I just don’t wanna go outside for some snacks in the cold weather
I enjoyed everything about this historic hotel. Lady at front desk was friendly, funny, and helpful. Shared info about the supposed haunted room in one of the many wings of this huge hotel
I like the place beacause it is quiet and clean! Also, it is near downtown Chicago, which is very accessible to some attractions! The staff in general is friendly! Love it
The staff were helpful, although I had trouble contacting them before my stay (I attempted both through the chat here and by phone, but neither was successful)
Pros: clean, budget-friendly, great views, central location Cons: no AC/heat, hard beds, short-staffed Overall: Not a bad place to stay, especially if you’re looking for a budget-friendly, locally owned option — but next time I’ll likely pick a newer hotel
Great view from our room on the 12th floor with lake view. It was absolutely worth it.

While we were due a complimentary room upgrade, unfortunately none were open at the time. As a kind gesture, he instead provided us with two complimentary drink tickets, which was an unexpected and appreciated surprise
The location of this hotel is truly prime—within easy walking distance to an abundance of food, entertainment, and nearby attractions, which is a major plus! The check-in staff, especially Than, was wonderful
I recently had bariatric surgery and carry a medical card intended to allow smaller portions. When I explained this to our breakfast waitress and requested the $19 kids’ meal, the request was declined
While I understand this is not legally required, accommodating it would have gone a long way in terms of customer service, as I was unable to eat more than a small portion of my nearly $40 breakfast
When we went to redeem them at the bar in MJ Steakhouse, we learned after placing our cocktail orders that the tickets could not be used for the drinks we had chosen
This would have been helpful to know beforehand, but we still appreciated the initial gesture. Breakfast was convenient, though nothing particularly memorable

I’ve stayed at other Marriott properties the past few months and once this place gets the rooms renovated it will be nice. My only complaint about the bathroom in my room was no grab handles in the tub area
I wanted to take a bath after my race and it was challenging getting up out of the tub without getting hurt. I ate at the breakfast buffet one morning, I wasn’t too crazy about the food selection
Now, they've included admission to venues we won't likely attend. Bring back the Garrett popcorn!
I stayed in room 1024 last weekend. I was in town for the Lake F3 Half Marathon. This was my first time staying here. I have stayed at the Hilton Suites around the corner many times
The hotel is very clean, room was nicely decorated and had a great view of downtown area , plenty of room with a comfortable bed, and all the employees were very friendly. I will definitely stay at this hotel again
I thought that I would stay at the Westin this time. First, the hotel is in a nice part of town close to bus routes and the Red Line. The rooms are in need of a renovation

Very comfortable bed, immaculate room, spacious restroom, Nestcafe coffee maker, and fancy soaps and shampoos. Hotel was spotless.
We were pleasantly surprised to have our room upgraded and a late check-out added to our stay. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and had an amazing view. I had the best facial I've ever had at the Leaf Spa.
So we got up earlier than intended just in case they didn’t grant it. They offered to charge us for late check-out until we reminded them it’s included in our status
Expected a sofa in room based on booking website, didn't get. Didn't get the free upgrade entitled associated with program we booked under
Don't lie to us, just tell us from the beginning not to expect upgrades. Room service and wet bar seemed excessively expensive. Smoke alarm in room beeped at 2am and 4am
I stayed last summer for a medical conference. Concierge Gail Walker reached out soon after I booked my stay to offer their services

The ceilings are very tall and help the small rooms to feel very spacious. A room on the interior courtyard might not have any City views, but I actually appreciate how quiet it is at night
This place was excellent, however I did have an issue with the bar. The overall stay was great, the rooms were very spacious and the bath TUB was BIG.
All of the staff throughout the hotel were very kind as well. I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance. The location is very convenient, close to Millennium Park and the Art Institute!
“Excellent location and very comfortable stay. The hotel was clean, the service was good, and the amenities were well maintained
He even warmly asked if we were visiting for a post-Valentine’s Day trip, lol. Even though we were just traveling for fun, we could truly feel his warmth and sincerity
Was comfortable clean and large size rooms. Would stay again!

Now that our wedding has come and gone, I honestly miss talking with them! We kicked off our wedding weekend with a super fun Welcome Party the night before, and then celebrated with 260 guests in the stunning Gold Coast Room for our reception
Immediately upon walking in the most amazing floral smell from the beautiful flowers that adorn the lobby, greet you. Valet staff, lobby staff, desk staff and everyone else was so very pleasant
Room was wonderful and appreciated the two bathrooms we chose for our stay. We felt the history while staying here and planning on another visit this summer because it was so enjoyable!
Compared to other Downtown venues, the pricing was fair — and in return, we got so much more value, beauty, and care than we ever expected. This day will stay with us forever
I had the absolute joy of getting married at The Drake Hotel on May 3, 2025, and I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience
From the moment we started planning in January 2024, Ali and Ariella were incredible — thoughtful, organized, responsive, and genuinely kind

Fair for the price. Wonderful breakfast. You’re better off booking with breakfast than pay there.
The staff at this hotel bring a culture of excellence in customer service to this hotel
Rooms look very dated and are relatively smaller. The TV system will remind you of early 2000's. There is no coffee maker in the room. Lobby is the best part of the hotel look and feel. Room hallways are very dark.
However we were both very happy with the breakfast

Great location, you can walk to many places. The room was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breaksfast was quite good.
Perhaps it was the off-season, but the price was great. The location is excellent, and the service was good. There's a big supermarket right across the street, which is super convenient
Plus, there are Japanese and Cantonese restaurants nearby that are delicious. If I come back, I'd definitely stay here again
The stay was quite comfortable, and the price was a steal!
Property rooms are dated, old carpet, stains on walls and dirt on bathroom floor. Bed and pillows were comfortable. For the price I paid, I find it was a reasonable option for an overnight stay at Chicago
Relatively good location, within 10-15 minutes walking distance to a lot of good restaurants. Safe at night, about 10 minutes walk to red line. Service from staff were friendly, felt welcomed

The room was great-only comment is that it would be helpful to have more drawers for clothing and a shelf or drawer in the nightstands.
The quality of service was excellent. Very friendly staff and very accommodating hotel facilities. The Gym was good also.
Entire staff from Valets to desk and bar staff was amazing Only suggestion is more light in our room’s bathroom
My fiancé loved it. We had a great time. She actually wants to move there.
Great stay and great places to visit that are in walking distance
There was dirty socks in the bathroom and left over food in the mini fridge. The body wash dispenser in the shower was empty. Poor maid service. The place is in a great location but interiors are outdated.

I have nothing but great things to say about my stay. I’ve stayed at another five-star hotel in the same area, and the level of service here far surpassed my previous experience. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.
It’s The Ritz Carlton, everything was as expected. There was a festival and the streets were inaccessible, the young lady was exceptionally friendly (I was tired and frustrated) when we checked in
Having stayed in hundreds of hotels over the years, I can confidently say that nothing has ever come close to the level of service, hospitality, and excellence I encountered at your property
First class stay. You pay for it, but so worth it. Real hospitality, indefatigable service in a magical setting. Cannot beat the location and staff are beyond reproach.
Great breakfast a la carte menu, perfect bar setting, room was spotless, and service in accordance to the Ritz Brand.
The room was spotless and the bed super comfy. The staff was very helpful and extremely courteous.

What would they have done really other than make the bed. I also had a good 10 minute wait to get by bags which were being held for crud day. It seems only the bellman has a key and he was off attending other guests
It’s a bit of a mission to get to the rooms (up one elevator through the restaurant to another set of lifts and up again). Despite the 3 elevators from the ground floor up to the 15th reception, they took ages
Room was pretty good - though it was a good 6-7 minutes for the hot water to run through to the shower. I arrived back one evening to discover the hadn’t made up my room, which was no big deal
I loved the location of the hotel. We had a suite and the vriws we're incredible. They have a convenient store and bar. Both we used and we're happy with. The pool was cold! But we were able to heat up in a sauna after
The location was amazing, surrounded by the Chicago River. The breakfast buffet was filling and a relaxing environment. The waitstaff was attentive and the view was grand!
A few little annoyances, but these were made up for by the great location; right on the river with incredible views from the windows

They are also very generous with their amenities and the smell of white tea, rosemary and mint also permeated the hotel and also continued this theme in the shower products and lotions. We are very pleased with our stay
My stay was great. Staff was very helpful and polite in the rooms were very clean and well kept the housekeeping were very polite and very attentive.
This is a tough one as we enjoyed the property and staff but it did not live up to a 4 or higher star rating hotel - staff did not change feather pillows and sheets until day #2 as we requested in advance and, of course, we had allergic reactions, they did apologize, but considering their rates and the plethora of other hotels we have had better experiences
It also was not clean in many areas of the room and there is no fridge to store food when you come back from expensive meals every night and a lot of food left in the room was thrown away by staff - the only fridge is pressure sensored to automatically charge you for things we and likely most guests do not want
I wish we had children to bring to this hotel as their children's facilities seemed really amazing
We loaded our own bags in a cart when we arrived and we had to have a door person take them up to our room because it is physically impossible to do it on our own. Otherwise they would help you get into your Ubers

Fantastic property and the best hotel check-in/recepetion we have ever experienced. The best gym, great rooftop space, huge rooms, central location in the middle of it all
The location is fantastic with amazing views, especially being able to see the Navy Pier fireworks perfectly. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit
What stood out the most was the staff’s gracious hospitality and professionalism, which made our stay even more memorable
This hotel delivers a refined and elevated experience, and we would absolutely look forward to returning

The large pool was very murky with visible debris on the bottom and the hot tub had a dark line of dirt/skin at the water line.  That said, the rest of the hotel was pristine and perfectly maintained
The beds were really comfortable. My only complaint would be that the towels seemed a little dated and could use a refresh. The restaurant and bar were great too
The location, service and amenities were wonderful. The club level was also well worth it, with plenty of food and drink options for both adults and children.
I’ve stayed at all of the best Chicago hotels and the Langham is up there with the peninsula as best in the city.  My one complaint is that the pool, specifically the water, was not clean
Remarkable stay! I will return for my next stay in downtown Chicago. Have stayed at other 5 Star Hotels but this one is now my #1 choice. Thank you to all the staff that made my family's stay a memorable one.

Although the pool was closed for maintenance, the whole package was nothing I’ve ever experienced. The bathrooms had complementary slippers, toothbrushes, hair combs, and so much more. The beds were very comfortable
ATTENTION to details means everything. This hotel is by far one of my new favorite hotels downtown. My husband and I try to stay at a new hotel three times a year. This one definitely didn't disappoint us at all
The bed was so comfy and the little cute cupcake just made my husband's birthday a little more fun. Hands down the BEST slippers we've ever been given at a hotel
Jenny at the front desk is amazing and kind. Usually dislike hotels out in the US cause they so terrible compared to other countries, but this was comparable to the peninsula in thailand/shanghai or bellagio in shanghai
While I understand spa treatments normally have a cost, what was disappointing was less the charge itself and more the tone of the interaction, which implied that we had misunderstood or misrepresented the earlier conversation rather than treating it as a possible miscommunication
This was the greatest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. At the check in desk, a nice employee upgraded us (we had a room for two people and we were four people) to a suite

I came here to attend a conference and stayed two nights. The hotel staff was courteous, smiling and kind. The accommodations were comfortable. The key system that they have for the hotel is somewhat frustrating
Thoughtful to have many convenient USB points, as well as a hdmi port at the work table. Would have been perfect if the TV could be rotated to face the work table and be used as a 2nd monitor
Great room - I liked the mid-century modern finishes. I also really enjoyed the fitness center and pool/hot tub.
If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated
The hotel and staff went above and beyond our expectations, provided a complementary wheel chair, extended our check out time, and help by bringing our luggage to the room
Due to weather we stayed to make my husband's early morning heart doctor appointment without having to drive 3 hours in bad weather. We will certainly stay here whenever we have the opportunity again
