First and foremost, you will not find a friendlier front desk staff in Chicago. These individuals make you feel welcome and appreciated. Tresa was nicest front desk person at a hotel that I have ever met. She went above and beyond! So grateful for everything she did to make me feel like a close friend. Rooms are nice, I was in the east tower. You won’t be blown away by the space or the bed, but you...
Great hotel with a good location. Even staying here in January we were able to walk across the street and walk the river. Everything was clean and every team member we encountered were pleasant and happy to see us. Special shout outs to Roberto in valet, Andy at baggage, and Carlton at breakfast. We booked a standard king room, Globalist status, and got upgraded to a suite with a river view. Solid...
Hyatt Regency Chicago is a fantastic hotel with a perfect downtown location. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and helpful. My room was spacious, clean, and offered breathtaking views of the Chicago River and city skyline. I appreciated the comfortable bed, modern amenities, and attention to detail throughout the hotel. Dining at the on-site restaurants was excellent...
Rooms were clean but no glasses in the room and we had to ask for more cups and coffee. It wasn’t stocked well. We also noticed there wasn’t a bath mat and we were very limited on towels. Beds were comfortable and we liked all the hooks and the fact there was 3 mirrors for 3 women to get ready easily. View was cool from 31st floor and they gave my friend a sweet birthday card with coupon where we got...
Loved this hotel! Very convenient location. Room was impeccably clean. The view was so nice even for a standard room. I received an upgrade to a king sized bed upon arrival. Service was great. They have several restaurants in the building that guests get a $25 credit for. Highly recommend! Small side note: you guys should rearrange the check in line for world of hyatt guests. The layout allows for...

I was very satisfied, except for the lack of amenities! There were no toothbrushes or toothpaste ㅠㅠ
I always choose this hotel for my conferences. It's conveniently located next to McCormick Place. It's also close to Chinatown and the Bean. However, this time, I was in the north building, so the view wasn't as good as in the south. Overall, I was satisfied.
Stayed at this hotel for this year's AACR meeting The sound insulation effect is not very good But after reporting to the front desk, they changed the room. Thank you to all the hotel staff Thanks for your hard work
I booked this hotel out of convenience of location to the C2E2 expo. I paid A L O T. PROS:The front desk were hepful & friendly. Check out was Noon, which is later than most. I did like the full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, & lotion. The room was clean but... CONS: the sheets & bedspread were so thin. It felt & sounded like we were sleeping on newspapers. I could hear every other...
Very nice hotel with good view and convenient location.
Decent gym… but the hotel room was dirty. The people before me must have been hairy people because it was everywhere. The halls also needed shampooing. As for the mattress… no bugs just dirty and hairy. Also no mattress covers. Decent lobby area and good for large gatherings. The food was decent. I loved their banana pudding!

Not happy with the person at check in, not nice at all & gave us a very loud noisy floor.
It's my first time staying in Sheraton Riverwalk Chicago and the experience was awesome! View was good, everything was convenient and it's highly recommended for everyone to stay there 🥰🥰
There's no fridge in the room which is quite annoying. You can't bring back leftovers from a fun night out. My AC started squeaking heavy in the night too so I had to adjust the panel. Other than that my stay has been good and the view of the river and lake is quite nice.
Very nice hotel. Great location. The staff is top notch! Feels safe, well updated and clean. Great place to stay while in Chicago, close to everything. Easy walking distance to all attractions. Nearby dining is delicious! The rooms are large, plenty of towels, mini fridge. Our room had a view. Room service daily was excellent.
One of the best hotels on the Riverwalk district. It is right along the river and very convenient. When I checked in, I got upgraded to a high floor because of my titanium status. When I checked in, the staff were helpful and friendly and there was no wait. The room was large, the beds were comfortable and the view of the River from the hotel room window was great. Overall this is a very good hotel...
Great location for wanting to be in the Loop. Traveled here with three women and three children ranging 8-1 years old. The rooms were fine, clean, and typical. Location was as wonderful and service was great. View from our room was wonderful - we loved seeing the river from up high in our room. The kids also loved the pool - while it wasn’t huge, it was exactly what they needed! The two cons I would...

Great stay, great breakfast and location.
Great location! Near Michigan Avenue (great place to shop) and pristine nearby restaurants.
Everything was perfect. Great view, checked me in early, comfy bed, great location, etc. Steve who works out front is especially lovely and helpful.
Great location in the city centre. Clean and spacious room with an amazing view (34th floor). Free Wi-Fi in the lobby and in the room only if part of the loyalty program.
It was very clean and great location. There is a parking garage right across. Hotel was right in the middle of downtown

Loved the experience! Everyone was extremely nice at the hotel, location is great too! Rooms are super clean and comfortable, great restaurants and MASSIVE fully stacked Gym on 4th floor. Definitely worth the money! Decent views from my room on 25th floor, elevator was super fast and food just to die for! Best salmon salad I’ve ever had.
I just stayed at this hotel for a conference. It was a nice hotel and the rooms were pleasant. I did want to give a shout-out to the ladies at the M Club. I visited during the day and at night for the appetizers. The ladies always welcomed me in and asked if they could help me with anything. I only got one lady’s name, Anna. But the ladies at dinner were wonderful too! Thanks for your great service
Great stays with friendly staff and nice lounge area. The location is super convenient if you are here for the convention. It’s a 5 mins walk to the convention center. The hotel has a great gym. Also they categorized elevator to lower floor and higher floor, so it’s quick to get on the elevator. The suite room has great view of the Chicago skylines . The living room area was big. Beautiful architecture. All of the front desk was very kind and welcoming. The hotel was right in the middle of everything we wanted to do (Georgia Aquarium, Coca Cola museum, and a couple of LGBT bars. The price for the night seemed fair for it being in downtown...
The hotel is nice and clean and in a great location. However the staff is quite unpleasant. From the front desk, to the bar staff, to the coffee shop staff. All seemed like it was an inconvenience to ask questions. I had a delivery come to the hotel for me and it was stolen and yet the hotel took no responsibility for it. Luckily the flower shop made it right. The one and only difference in service...

Very good and clean rooms. Amazing place to stAy and more than worth it.
Nice hotel at historic city center area, great service, will definitely stay here again for future trip
Perfect place to stay for a weekend in the city and great value for money. We had a queen room with two bathrooms which was very convenient. We booked a lake view, and it was stunning! The pool was crowded, so unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to use it.
The front desk staff were warm and friendly. They were very patient with me, even though my English isn't great, and used translation software to help. My room had a city view; while it wasn't a lake view, I could see the tall buildings outside. The room was spacious, and although the decor was a bit dated, it was exceptionally clean. You have to pick up bottled water yourself from the front desk....
Everything was fine, but when I returned to the hotel the second night, after taking a bath and using the bath towel, I found a pair of used old socks. They were neither mine nor my friend's. This made me feel extremely disgusted and uncomfortable. I am very concerned about the hygiene situation at Hilton. This is a problem that should not have occurred
Excellent environment, centrally located with convenient access to all attractions. The staff were exceptionally gentle and polite. If I visit again in the future, I will definitely choose this place again.

The best thing of this hotel is th location. It is in the center of the one Chicago’s main avenue, with many stores, shopping, attractions nearby, etc.
We are on night two of our two night stay. The location of this hotel is truly prime—within easy walking distance to an abundance of food, entertainment, and nearby attractions, which is a major plus! The check-in staff, especially Than, was wonderful. While we were due a complimentary room upgrade, unfortunately none were open at the time. As a kind gesture, he instead provided us with two complimentary...
Lupe was amazing when making the reservation, a true gem. We stayed in a suite for 2 nights, and it was perfect. Room was not overdone and roomy, a bathroom for us and a bathroom for our girls. Corner suite was so fun for them to see the city from many views. Small mishap, we called the hotel before we left (2 hour drive and a time zone change) and talked to Brenda who said our room was ready so we...
FYI-Room service delivery fee is $8. Gratuity is automatically added but does not show up in the cart. It only shows up AFTER you pay, on the receipt. We ordered 3 milk and cookies and the final bill was $45 ($25 for the food item and rest on delivery, tax, automatic gratuity and extra tip)! The hotel itself is nice. Rooms, bathrooms and facilities are clean. Staff is courteous. Pool is beautiful...
We stayed here for one night with our 7 month old and we really enjoyed it! We had a great view on the 23rd floor and the employees are really kind and helpful. Breakfast buffet was crazy expensive but was honestly very good. My only complaint was our room was SO HOT, there was no way for us to turn the heat off so I was sweating lol. But very accommodating for us and the baby
The service was satisfactory, the environment was beautiful and unique, the hygiene was excellent, the staff were courteous, the rooms were clean, the facilities were complete, the food was safe, the taste was unique, and the amenities were comprehensive.

This is my third time staying here. All three times I've had different style of rooms. All of which is beautiful. The hotel doesn't offer much as far as breakfast, staff does their job but not much more but that's ok. The real charm of this is the architecture, history and the spirits. Place really is like no other. Kinda cool really.
We stayed for three nights at the Congress Plaza Hotel. Overall, it was a nice stay — our room faced the lake and was surprisingly large for a city hotel. The newer floors and furniture gave it a refreshed feel. A few notes: there’s no central AC or heat. There’s a small air unit near the window, but it only circulates air rather than heating or cooling it. We visited in early November (temps around...
I enjoyed everything about this historic hotel. Lady at front desk was friendly, funny, and helpful. Shared info about the supposed haunted room in one of the many wings of this huge hotel. Lobby was gorgeous and even had a pool table. Stayed in the South Wing. Room seemed to have been recently updated, with comfy beds. Although it was a bit smaller the ceilings were extremely high giving it a more...
Pretty good location and a classic hotel. Being classic it's also dated. Nice view of the park, and quite clean, but not the best room to do work in all day. Easy walk to the art institute. No AC, pay for refrigerator, free WiFi one day only. Great lobby though, there were people doing a photo shoot on the couches for an album, I can see why!
I thought this place was nice. Staff was nice, plaza was nice, room was a little rough though. Cracks in wall and ceiling. I understand it’s an older building but rooms could use some work. But the great rate we got on the room made up for the small defects.
The hotel has a very charming old feel to it. We got a lake side view room, and the view out the window is great, especially at sunrise! The place is clean and the bed is comfortable. Staff interactions have all been pleasant. Would definitely stay here again!
Bathroom was surprisingly nice and updated compared to the rest of the room. Very nice.
Great location with a beautiful view of the lake. Very nice room with a comfortable bed and they even provided complimentary toothbrush and toothpaste. Very nice staff at the front desk that let us upgrade our room to a lake view and check in early for a very small fee.
Price is very good. The hotel is in the very center of the city, it is very convenient.

Perfect place, but the service is terrible. All staff don't smile. I kept asking for some slippers, they said run out of it. I didn't get it till I left five days later. I asked for room service every day, but actually they made it every other day. I could not understand it.
I stayed here for a week and had a blast. This hotel was in the perfect location to get around the city easy. I had easy access to bikes right outside the hotel to ride around Chicago. The 25 dollar credit they give you daily really helps when you get back after long day of taking the city in. I ordered room service a few times and the burger was and chicken club were both really good. This is also...
We've stayed at the Westin many times. Rooms are always quiet and clean. Their breakfast us outstanding! I do REALLY miss the hotel providing Garrett popcorn during your stay. It was a great addition. Now, they've included admission to venues we won't likely attend. Bring back the Garrett popcorn!
Location is great on Michigan Ave. right across from the Hancock building. While the corner spacious room was, indeed, spacious, the "corner" aspect left a bit to be desired. The one (short) wall looked out across Michigan Ave. at Bloomingdales, but, being on the fourth floor, the longer wall of windows looked out on the roof of the building next door and all the glory of its rooftop units and duct...

I expected a little more from a 4-star hotel. I’ve been to a good amount and I think Fairmont was the most disappointing of the bunch. When we first entered our room as went straight for the huge windows. It was a nice view overall, but then we found a sock behind the mini-bar. We let it go considering it was behind the bar/next to the couch. The location is great since it’s right near Millennium...
Clean, friendly check-in. By midnight we couldn’t handle the screaming child in an adjoining room. Front desk listened to recording for 2 seconds before promptly giving us a new room. We went from 32nd to 22nd floor tho. City view to partial view of MDaley Park. Hotel Restaurant was not equipped to handle their offered breakfast package. 2nd morning we opted to get ours “to go” since we couldn’t be...
I would recommend staying here. It was a great location, easy walk to the magnificent mile & Millennium Park. We used SpotHero find a very affordable covered parking with In-N-Out 24 access that was literally in the building attached to the hotel. Hotel staff was very nice. The room was a nice size, we had a nice view and a little couch in our room. That was nice to sit with a glass of wine and look...
This is one of the most delightful hotels I’ve stayed at. It was greeted every time I came to the hotel. Every employee treated me with kindness. My room on the 36th floor was lovely. Large bathroom with a separate tub and shower. I loved...
Be careful, there is a hidden charge "A $25 daily urban experience fee will be charged to each room" at this hotel Fairmont Chicago - Millennium Park. There was an unknown $200 fee that trip.com is not aware of that the hotel calls a "resort fee". This makes a good rate for staying in downtown Chicago very expensive. On the part of the hotel and possibly trip.com, this is deceptive. This fee is not published and there is no real alternative to paying it. We've stayed many times at this hotel for convenience to our convention which is held across...
Great location, friendly, kindly staff, fantastic rooms, excellent cleanliness, comfortable beds, great view, beautiful view of Chicago Downtown, very good gym, all the equipment is new, truly an excellent hotel.
The hotel exceeds my expectation! The room is quite large with good amenities, and it gives me $50 dining credit. So I have a big breakfast and the avocado toast in the restaurant is absolute good. The front desk is also really nice and friendly. I feel really worthy and the hotel is well architected with good location. Definitely recommend it to others!
The scenery is absolutely beautiful, I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Chicago!
We stayed at this hotel for two nights. Everything was fine on the first day, but the problem began on the evening of the second day when we returned to our room after a long day of sightseeing. We specifically chose this hotel because it advertised all rooms as smoke free, but when we got back to the room, we could smell strong scent of ****. Whether it was the housekeeper or if the smell was coming...
Environment: Absolutely stunning! You get direct river views! It feels very safe here, and right downstairs is the city center. Service: The hotel doesn't provide water! The Hotel location is perfect! Very centric in downtown, close to offices and tourist attractions.
The room is very, very big, especially the bathroom, but it doesn't look very high-end or comfortable. Maybe the facilities are a little old? But it's very good.
Great spot. It was pleasant even with some exterior construction happening during the day. Nice staff. Large lounge and sitting area. Gym was excellent. Room had some dust and terrible view, but those were just unlucky things. Very happy overall.
Excellency in room maintenance and services. The most clean room and comfort beds in downtown. Hard to find a speck even in any corner of the room. Liked the all marble decor bathroom and super friendly front desk. Gotta try cheese plate for room service. 7-yrs old cheddar, brie, and goat cheese will amaze you. Although, brace yourself for daily convenience fees, front desk fee, and room service fees...
Suites are great, but the rest of the hotel rooms are median. Cleanliness and the location is optimal, but the service can be 50/50. I have been greeted and experienced excellent from housekeeping staffs, but the valet staff at the counter especially was shadowing. Overall I would try other hotel near to compare.
The hotel is great. Very classic JW hotel - old school but very well kept. Doesn’t get 5 starts because I personally like something more modern. The views are not very spectacular as you are surrounded by other tall buildings

Rooms look very dated and are relatively smaller. The TV system will remind you of early 2000's. There is no coffee maker in the room. Lobby is the best part of the hotel look and feel. Room hallways are very dark.
Great location to stay near Navy Pier but it is needing some updating. Rooms are in a little rough shape but bed was very comfortable. Also I always like having coffee in my room in the morning. You have to go down to the lobby to get your cup of joe to enjoy. We also had elevator noise in the room we were in. It was quite loud. All in all, just a building that needs a little love and $ to charge ...

We were a little hesitant about the food since the restaurante does not have such great reviews. However we were both very happy with the breakfast. The swimming pool was nice.
Just meh. Will not stay here again, unfortunately the Marriott courtyard was sold out during my stay so I had to choose this one. Good location and good service
The room was great-only comment is that it would be helpful to have more drawers for clothing and a shelf or drawer in the nightstands.
There was dirty socks in the bathroom and left over food in the mini fridge. The body wash dispenser in the shower was empty. Poor maid service. The place is in a great location but interiors are outdated.
My fiancé loved it. We had a great time. She actually wants to move there.

Front desk staff definitely skipped the hospitality portion of training. From the greeting to the checkout no smiles no warmth not very inviting. The hotel and room itself was beautiful, great location but most likely will go to another hotel next time.
Be prepared to be treated like you are the most important guest at the hotel. The staff here is incredibly professional, helpful and service oriented. Every single one.
Too expensive for such a basic room. Cheap towels and toilet paper. Broken wall switches. Handle on bathroom door broke. Just a basic room with nothing special. No refrigerator or microwave. For almost $5000 for just 3 nights I had to pay for valet parking and all food (not even free snacks). Complimentary breakfast would have been great for $5000. Bathroom was nice but just a waste of money...

Perfect location on Mich Ave close to subway. Classic old building, but updated to be very comfortable and modern. Quiet and comfortable room. The Starbucks and Harry Potter shops right across the street were perfect distractions.
The room was a good size, clean, and tidy. The location is right in the heart of the Magnificent Mile, which is incredibly convenient and safe. The front desk provides amenities like toothbrushes and toothpaste. Overall, a fantastic stay.
Considering US prices, this room rate is really cheap. There's an unavoidable resort fee of $29.35 USD (including tax) charged daily. So, you should definitely make full use of the in-room coffee machine and the gym upstairs (though I didn't use either, even though the coffee was Starbucks – I just went across the street for my Starbucks fix). At check-in, they put a hold on my credit card for a deposit...

We recently stayed at the Warwick Allerton Chicago. The hotel has an unbeatable location right on the Magnificent Mile—perfect for walking everywhere! no water kettle, terrible attitude by front desk receptionist carlton. breakfast was okay but waiters were slow and inattentive
Location is good with a beautiful view. Just a heads up bring your own slipper and dental kit and drinking water because they don’t have complimentary of such. Overall we had a great sleep and we enjoyed our stay.

Awien helped my too early arriving at the hotel, and I could checked in.
Rooms were indeed somewhat small, but it was all that I needed after a busy day in Chicago. Everything here was great. I enjoyed my stay here and am anticipating returning in the future. Perfect!

The cons: the room decor is weird; you can't reach hotel staff from your in...
This hotel is absolutely beautiful! You feel such a good vibe the moment you walk into the hotel! We got a room with a queen sized bed. Although the room was quite small, it was updated nicely and it was very enjoyable! Would definitely stay here again!
