First and foremost, you will not find a friendlier front desk staff in Chicago. These individuals make you feel welcome and appreciated. Tresa was nicest front desk person at a hotel that I have ever met. She went above and beyond! So grateful for everything she did to make me feel like a close friend.
Rooms are nice, I was in the east tower. You won’t be blown away by the space or the bed, but you...
Great hotel with a good location. Even staying here in January we were able to walk across the street and walk the river. Everything was clean and every team member we encountered were pleasant and happy to see us. Special shout outs to Roberto in valet, Andy at baggage, and Carlton at breakfast. We booked a standard king room, Globalist status, and got upgraded to a suite with a river view. Solid...
Hyatt Regency Chicago is a fantastic hotel with a perfect downtown location. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and helpful. My room was spacious, clean, and offered breathtaking views of the Chicago River and city skyline. I appreciated the comfortable bed, modern amenities, and attention to detail throughout the hotel. Dining at the on-site restaurants was excellent...
Rooms were clean but no glasses in the room and we had to ask for more cups and coffee. It wasn’t stocked well. We also noticed there wasn’t a bath mat and we were very limited on towels. Beds were comfortable and we liked all the hooks and the fact there was 3 mirrors for 3 women to get ready easily. View was cool from 31st floor and they gave my friend a sweet birthday card with coupon where we got...
Loved this hotel! Very convenient location. Room was impeccably clean. The view was so nice even for a standard room. I received an upgrade to a king sized bed upon arrival. Service was great. They have several restaurants in the building that guests get a $25 credit for. Highly recommend!
Small side note: you guys should rearrange the check in line for world of hyatt guests. The layout allows for...

I was very satisfied, except for the lack of amenities! There were no toothbrushes or toothpaste ㅠㅠ
I always choose this hotel for my conferences. It's conveniently located next to McCormick Place. It's also close to Chinatown and the Bean. However, this time, I was in the north building, so the view wasn't as good as in the south. Overall, I was satisfied.
Stayed at this hotel for this year's AACR meeting
The sound insulation effect is not very good
But after reporting to the front desk, they changed the room.
Thank you to all the hotel staff
Thanks for your hard work
I booked this hotel out of convenience of location to the C2E2 expo. I paid A L O T. PROS:The front desk were hepful & friendly. Check out was Noon, which is later than most. I did like the full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, & lotion. The room was clean but...
CONS: the sheets & bedspread were so thin. It felt & sounded like we were sleeping on newspapers. I could hear every other...
Very nice hotel with good view and convenient location.
Decent gym… but the hotel room was dirty. The people before me must have been hairy people because it was everywhere. The halls also needed shampooing. As for the mattress… no bugs just dirty and hairy. Also no mattress covers.
Decent lobby area and good for large gatherings. The food was decent. I loved their banana pudding!

Not happy with the person at check in, not nice at all & gave us a very loud noisy floor.
It's my first time staying in Sheraton Riverwalk Chicago and the experience was awesome!
View was good, everything was convenient and it's highly recommended for everyone to stay there 🥰🥰
There's no fridge in the room which is quite annoying. You can't bring back leftovers from a fun night out. My AC started squeaking heavy in the night too so I had to adjust the panel. Other than that my stay has been good and the view of the river and lake is quite nice.
Very nice hotel. Great location. The staff is top notch! Feels safe, well updated and clean. Great place to stay while in Chicago, close to everything. Easy walking distance to all attractions. Nearby dining is delicious! The rooms are large, plenty of towels, mini fridge. Our room had a view. Room service daily was excellent.
One of the best hotels on the Riverwalk district.
It is right along the river and very convenient.
When I checked in, I got upgraded to a high floor because of my titanium status. When I checked in, the staff were helpful and friendly and there was no wait.
The room was large, the beds were comfortable and the view of the River from the hotel room window was great.
Overall this is a very good hotel...
Great location for wanting to be in the Loop. Traveled here with three women and three children ranging 8-1 years old. The rooms were fine, clean, and typical. Location was as wonderful and service was great. View from our room was wonderful - we loved seeing the river from up high in our room. The kids also loved the pool - while it wasn’t huge, it was exactly what they needed!
The two cons I would...

Great stay, great breakfast and location.
Great location! Near Michigan Avenue (great place to shop) and pristine nearby restaurants.
Everything was perfect. Great view, checked me in early, comfy bed, great location, etc. Steve who works out front is especially lovely and helpful.
Great location in the city centre. Clean and spacious room with an amazing view (34th floor). Free Wi-Fi in the lobby and in the room only if part of the loyalty program.

Loved the experience!
Everyone was extremely nice at the hotel, location is great too!
Rooms are super clean and comfortable, great restaurants and MASSIVE fully stacked Gym on 4th floor. Definitely worth the money!
Decent views from my room on 25th floor, elevator was super fast and food just to die for! Best salmon salad I’ve ever had.
I just stayed at this hotel for a conference. It was a nice hotel and the rooms were pleasant. I did want to give a shout-out to the ladies at the M Club. I visited during the day and at night for the appetizers. The ladies always welcomed me in and asked if they could help me with anything. I only got one lady’s name, Anna. But the ladies at dinner were wonderful too! Thanks for your great service
Great stays with friendly staff and nice lounge area.
The location is super convenient if you are here for the convention. It’s a 5 mins walk to the convention center. The hotel has a great gym. Also they categorized elevator to lower floor and higher floor, so it’s quick to get on the elevator.

Beautiful architecture. All of the front desk was very kind and welcoming. The hotel was right in the middle of everything we wanted to do (Georgia Aquarium, Coca Cola museum, and a couple of LGBT bars. The price for the night seemed fair for it being in downtown...
The hotel is nice and clean and in a great location. However the staff is quite unpleasant. From the front desk, to the bar staff, to the coffee shop staff. All seemed like it was an inconvenience to ask questions. I had a delivery come to the hotel for me and it was stolen and yet the hotel took no responsibility for it. Luckily the flower shop made it right.
The one and only difference in service...

Very good and clean rooms. Amazing place to stAy and more than worth it.
Nice hotel at historic city center area, great service, will definitely stay here again for future trip
Perfect place to stay for a weekend in the city and great value for money. We had a queen room with two bathrooms which was very convenient. We booked a lake view, and it was stunning! The pool was crowded, so unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to use it.
The front desk staff were warm and friendly. They were very patient with me, even though my English isn't great, and used translation software to help. My room had a city view; while it wasn't a lake view, I could see the tall buildings outside. The room was spacious, and although the decor was a bit dated, it was exceptionally clean. You have to pick up bottled water yourself from the front desk....
Everything was fine, but when I returned to the hotel the second night, after taking a bath and using the bath towel, I found a pair of used old socks. They were neither mine nor my friend's. This made me feel extremely disgusted and uncomfortable. I am very concerned about the hygiene situation at Hilton. This is a problem that should not have occurred
Excellent environment, centrally located with convenient access to all attractions. The staff were exceptionally gentle and polite. If I visit again in the future, I will definitely choose this place again.

Charged for three occupants, 2 people have to share a bed
Perfect place, but the service is terrible. All staff don't smile. I kept asking for some slippers, they said run out of it. I didn't get it till I left five days later. I asked for room service every day, but actually they made it every other day. I could not understand it.
I stayed here for a week and had a blast. This hotel was in the perfect location to get around the city easy. I had easy access to bikes right outside the hotel to ride around Chicago. The 25 dollar credit they give you daily really helps when you get back after long day of taking the city in. I ordered room service a few times and the burger was and chicken club were both really good. This is also...
We've stayed at the Westin many times. Rooms are always quiet and clean. Their breakfast us outstanding! I do REALLY miss the hotel providing Garrett popcorn during your stay. It was a great addition. Now, they've included admission to venues we won't likely attend. Bring back the Garrett popcorn!
Location is great on Michigan Ave. right across from the Hancock building. While the corner spacious room was, indeed, spacious, the "corner" aspect left a bit to be desired. The one (short) wall looked out across Michigan Ave. at Bloomingdales, but, being on the fourth floor, the longer wall of windows looked out on the roof of the building next door and all the glory of its rooftop units and duct...
I'd like to thank Ryan, Mike and Isaiah of the Cafe. They were an amazing trio. Fast service, super friendly, always charming and always professional. We witnessed a few colorful characters giving them a hard time during our stay. They handled everything with patience and grace.

I expected a little more from a 4-star hotel. I’ve been to a good amount and I think Fairmont was the most disappointing of the bunch.
When we first entered our room as went straight for the huge windows. It was a nice view overall, but then we found a sock behind the mini-bar. We let it go considering it was behind the bar/next to the couch.
The location is great since it’s right near Millennium...
Clean, friendly check-in. By midnight we couldn’t handle the screaming child in an adjoining room. Front desk listened to recording for 2 seconds before promptly giving us a new room. We went from 32nd to 22nd floor tho. City view to partial view of MDaley Park.
Hotel Restaurant was not equipped to handle their offered breakfast package. 2nd morning we opted to get ours “to go” since we couldn’t be...
I would recommend staying here. It was a great location, easy walk to the magnificent mile & Millennium Park. We used SpotHero find a very affordable covered parking with In-N-Out 24 access that was literally in the building attached to the hotel.
Hotel staff was very nice. The room was a nice size, we had a nice view and a little couch in our room. That was nice to sit with a glass of wine and look...
This is one of the most delightful hotels I’ve stayed at. It was greeted every time I came to the hotel. Every employee treated me with kindness. The lobby was stunning (they were putting up Christmas decorations) and there was plenty of lounge type seating for me to enjoy a quiet moment outside of my room. My room on the 36th floor was lovely. Large bathroom with a separate tub and shower. I loved...
Be careful, there is a hidden charge "A $25 daily urban experience fee will be charged to each room" at this hotel Fairmont Chicago - Millennium Park. The breakfast charge is very tricky if you have prepaid. 1st you have to argue that you have prepaid for the breakfast for each person in the room. 2nd you need to ask and confirm with the front desk how much the credit is for the breakfast you have...

There was an unknown $200 fee that trip.com is not aware of that the hotel calls a "resort fee". This makes a good rate for staying in downtown Chicago very expensive. On the part of the hotel and possibly trip.com, this is deceptive. This fee is not published and there is no real alternative to paying it.
We've stayed many times at this hotel for convenience to our convention which is held across...
Great location, friendly, kindly staff, fantastic rooms, excellent cleanliness, comfortable beds, great view, beautiful view of Chicago Downtown, very good gym, all the equipment is new, truly an excellent hotel.
The hotel exceeds my expectation! The room is quite large with good amenities, and it gives me $50 dining credit. So I have a big breakfast and the avocado toast in the restaurant is absolute good. The front desk is also really nice and friendly. I feel really worthy and the hotel is well architected with good location. Definitely recommend it to others!
The scenery is absolutely beautiful, I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Chicago!
We stayed at this hotel for two nights. Everything was fine on the first day, but the problem began on the evening of the second day when we returned to our room after a long day of sightseeing. We specifically chose this hotel because it advertised all rooms as smoke free, but when we got back to the room, we could smell strong scent of ****. Whether it was the housekeeper or if the smell was coming...
Environment: Absolutely stunning! You get direct river views! It feels very safe here, and right downstairs is the city center.
Service: The hotel doesn't provide water! The small shop downstairs sells water at a high price, so I recommend buying it from a larger store.
Hygiene: The bedding is great! Shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are all provided, just remember to bring your own toothpaste and...

Great place which really knows how to pamper you.
I had the absolute joy of getting married at The Drake Hotel on May 3, 2025, and I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. From the moment we started planning in January 2024, Ali and Ariella were incredible — thoughtful, organized, responsive, and genuinely kind. Now that our wedding has come and gone, I honestly miss talking with them!

First trip to Chicago and so thankful we stayed at The Drake. What a gorgeous hotel in the most perfect location. Immediately upon walking in the most amazing floral smell from the beautiful flowers that adorn the lobby, greet you. Valet staff, lobby staff, desk staff and everyone else was so very pleasant. Room was wonderful and appreciated the two bathrooms we chose for our stay. We felt the history...
This review is strictly for the hotel, not the Afternoon Tea- which was lovely for the ambiance albeit a little overpriced.
Anyone who believes the rooms are "dated" is NOT "getting it". This is THE DRAKE, a hotel of a bygone era of classic and impeccable tastes. Wallpaper, lion drawer pulls and a TUB you can actually SOAK IN?!?! Yes, please!!!
I will admit a fridge and a microwave would be nice...
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Drake. Check-in was welcoming and efficient, and the front desk was always easy to reach via the Hilton app. As Hilton Honors Gold members, we were pleasantly surprised with complimentary room upgrades, which made us feel genuinely appreciated. Rooms look very dated and are relatively smaller. The TV system will remind you of early 2000's. There is no coffee maker in the room.
Lobby is the best part of the hotel look and feel. Room hallways are very dark.
Great location to stay near Navy Pier but it is needing some updating. Rooms are in a little rough shape but bed was very comfortable. Also I always like having coffee in my room in the morning. You have to go down to the lobby to get your cup of joe to enjoy.
We also had elevator noise in the room we were in. It was quite loud. All in all, just a building that needs a little love and $ to charge ...
We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful view to the lake. The room was clean, and it was specially decorated for our wedding night. Our breakfast was included. We were a little hesitant about the food since the restaurante does not have such great reviews. However we were both very happy with the breakfast. The swimming pool was nice.
Just meh. Will not stay here again, unfortunately the Marriott courtyard was sold out during my stay so I had to choose this one. This hotel is having an identity crisis as it’s marked as a luxury hotel but the rooms are rough.
First off, I did not receive an upgraded room for my birthday nor anything special and as a Marriott high level member this was a bit disappointing. First time this has happened...
Spent a weekend in Chicago from LA and The Wade was an amazing hotel experience. The room was a great size with great city views, was very clean and the hospitality was amazing. The hotel is beautiful and clean, located right in the city center. However, the service from the baggage handling staff was not enthusiastic; we had to carry our own luggage into the hotel, find our own luggage in the storage room, and carry it out to the car ourselves.

Good location and good service
The room was great-only comment is that it would be helpful to have more drawers for clothing and a shelf or drawer in the nightstands.
There was dirty socks in the bathroom and left over food in the mini fridge. The body wash dispenser in the shower was empty. Poor maid service. The place is in a great location but interiors are outdated.
My fiancé loved it. We had a great time. She actually wants to move there.
Staff was friendly and welcoming and the view from our room was amazing.

Perfect location on Mich Ave close to subway. Classic old building, but updated to be very comfortable and modern. Quiet and comfortable room. The Starbucks and Harry Potter shops right across the street were perfect distractions.
The room was a good size, clean, and tidy. The location is right in the heart of the Magnificent Mile, which is incredibly convenient and safe. The front desk provides amenities like toothbrushes and toothpaste. Overall, a fantastic stay.
Considering US prices, this room rate is really cheap. There's an unavoidable resort fee of $29.35 USD (including tax) charged daily. So, you should definitely make full use of the in-room coffee machine and the gym upstairs (though I didn't use either, even though the coffee was Starbucks – I just went across the street for my Starbucks fix). At check-in, they put a hold on my credit card for a deposit...
Good hotel for a short stay with fantastic location in the Magnificent miles!
The location is perfect and the room was cozy. We wish a dining option was included, though.
We recently stayed at the Warwick Allerton Chicago. The hotel has an unbeatable location right on the Magnificent Mile—perfect for walking everywhere! The room was also very clean and well-maintained.

Rooms were indeed somewhat small, but it was all that I needed after a busy day in Chicago. Everything here was great. I enjoyed my stay here and am anticipating returning in the future. Perfect!
We just did all the things and the Allegro was in the perfect spot. We arrived at Ogilvie and walked to the hotel. Monica is very professional! I got an upgraded room and a bottle of red wine. Room was clean and huge. The loop where this hotel located is safe and so nice. Thank you for everything. I want to stay here when I visit Chicago again!
Let me preface this by saying I'm an engineer that values function over form. This hotel is in the theatre district so a collision isn't unexpected. First the pros: the in-house catered food for my conference was high quality; the melon slices actually had flavor! The staff is professional and friendly. The shower was great. The cons: the room decor is weird; you can't reach hotel staff from your in...

The location was great, as I could walk everywhere. The check-in time was so tight that it was hard to wait. The US has so many unsanitary hotels, so it was generally clean. For the price in Chicago, where prices are high, I think this is excellent quality.
Very good quality bedding. Cleaning staffs did very well jobs. No hot water available for making tea. Shower water is not hot enough especially in cool days.
Very clean, comfortable bedding. In the busiest downtown area of Chicago, there are many hotel options, and the prices are high. This one is relatively cost-effective. I booked six nights in mid-May only one week in advance, with an average price of about 3,500 RMB per night (the price difference is large every night, it seems that there was an exhibition during this period, and the hotel rooms were...
It can be said that this is the most cost-effective hotel I have stayed in the United States. The hotel has an excellent location and the overall design is very French modern. The design of the decoration, the selection of furniture, and the overall color matching are all very embodying. The service is very considerate, the room is cleaned in time, and the night bed is also turned on. The room is equipped...
I stayed in the same room for another week. A female staff member (of Asian descent) at the front desk asked to charge an extra 30 dollars per night (plus tax). First, it was not the peak season. Second, they charged more for the same room. I don't understand. Different attitudes of different staff members towards guests will affect the credibility of the hotel.
Facilities: Very good

First time in Chicago and I booked a 3 night stay here recently. The pricing was really good for the area and o really liked the location. I enjoyed my stay at the W Chicago. It seems like the renovations have wrapped up (common complaint about the hotel) I also did not find the rooms to be overly dated. This hotel does not really live up the the name of a typical Amex FHR
the rooms are tired, finishes are cheap and worn out. Carpet stained.

This hotel is so overpriced. Had the double queen room for over $600 for the night and we were so packed in. We ordered coffee and they brought us more pods for the in room machine instead, windows don’t block any sound so we awakened at 6:30 am on a Sunday to the sound of trash trucks on the street. Just not a great value.
Great location. Hotel is vibey with rooftop, nice bar, restaurant, and coffee shop. Staff are friendly and attentive. Would stay again

During the AACR 10,000-person conference, the rooms were fully booked. I booked very late and it was quite expensive. There was nothing I could do. The room was average in size. The surrounding environment was good. It was a relatively safe downtown in Chicago. It was next to the Chicago River, a long way from the Big Pea and Lake Michigan. Across the street was the dock for the Chicago River cruise...
They gave us the room with the river view windows.
Conference hotel. Overall, no flaws. Very good. Good location. Opposite the Trump Building.
Great hotel in a great location.
The elevator is old and takes a long time to get to the 10th floor and above. There is no do not disturb sign and the waiter will knock on the door of each room. It's crazy.
The room is very narrow and the hotel is a bit old. There is a public lounge area for coffee, tea and work. It is next to the Chicago River and is quite noisy. There are many tourist buses at the door.

Very good river view, and excellent service.
The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to all the main attractions. Self-check-in was super fast and convenient. The only minor drawback was that only one elevator was operating, which sometimes meant a long wait. However, even that didn't detract from our overall positive impression.
The waiter is nice, free coffee and drinking water are provided, and the location is convenient
Great hotel, around the corner from the magnificent mile the place to be. Rooms are comfortable great coffee lounge on the second floor. Pedro and Ray were amazing in reception I would highly recommend this place great price and will definitely be coming back next time in Chicago
Front desk, manager and employee service is out of this world! 2nd floor is a very nice lounge room and very great Chicago views. However we have never had worse room service in our life! They do not tuck in beds, they do not change towels or change our pillows and they literally steal from us! We ended up loosing a metal fork off this trip. Multiple times we ended up calling employees to do what room...
I think three stars does this place justice.
The location was amazing (but it’s probably the only pro). It is waking distance within everything, and there are several bus/subway station close by.
However, the rooms are extremely small with barely any space to lay out our luggages. We got two rooms, and one of them didn’t even have a microwave or fridge! The hotel is definitely old and outdated, room...
