Hyatt Regency Hotel, Chicago1 / 30

Excellent experience and superb service from the Hyatt team.
The hotel is very close to the Riverwalk, Magnificent Mile, and The Bean. The area felt safe, and both Wildberry and deep-dish pizza places were within walking distance.
Great location and friendly staff. The only minor drawback is that the soundproofing could be a bit better.
The hotel's location is excellent! It's quiet and elegant, with complete and comfortable facilities. It's super convenient for sightseeing and tourism. The front desk service is also fantastic!
Perfect! Great views, convenient location, and lots of dining options nearby.
First and foremost, you will not find a friendlier front desk staff in Chicago. These individuals make you feel welcome and appreciated. Tresa was nicest front desk person at a hotel that I have ever met. She went above and beyond! So grateful for everything she did to make me feel like a close friend. Rooms are nice, I was in the east tower. You won’t be blown away by the space or the bed, but you...

We attended the 2026 Chicago Auto Show, at the convention center, which is attached to the Hotel. Our room was clean and recently remodeled. All the staff was friendly and respectful. The Valet parking service was helpful and easy. We even were allowed a late check out, for no charge.
We have stayed here for the Chicago Auto Show the past 3 years. The venue is connected to the hotel and is a short walk from your room. The rooms are always comfy and clean. The staff is pretty helpful. A couple restaurants to choose from and a bar. The Arc has some of the best and friendliest servers. We will continue to stay here for the Auto Show.
College friends and I flew into Chicago to watch the Minnesota Gophers play Northwestern in football at Wrigley Field in November 2025. We ended up staying at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place. This was based on a recommendation from my sister-in-law who had a colleague running the show at the hotel. The experience was awesome. The staff were friendly and courteous. The rooms were really nice...
Very practical hotel that does exactly what it is meant to do. Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with great views of the lake or skyline depending on where you stay. Everything feels efficient and well organized. The direct connection to McCormick Place is a huge advantage if you are attending a conference or event. Service is professional and smooth, though more businesslike than warm....
I was very satisfied, except for the lack of amenities! There were no toothbrushes or toothpaste ㅠㅠ
I always choose this hotel for my conferences. It's conveniently located next to McCormick Place. It's also close to Chinatown and the Bean. However, this time, I was in the north building, so the view wasn't as good as in the south. Overall, I was satisfied.

Our stay was absolutely awesome! The staff were so helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and we will return.
Not happy with the person at check in, not nice at all & gave us a very loud noisy floor.
It's my first time staying in Sheraton Riverwalk Chicago and the experience was awesome! View was good, everything was convenient and it's highly recommended for everyone to stay there 🥰🥰
There's no fridge in the room which is quite annoying. You can't bring back leftovers from a fun night out. My AC started squeaking heavy in the night too so I had to adjust the panel. Other than that my stay has been good and the view of the river and lake is quite nice.
Very nice hotel. Great location. The staff is top notch! Feels safe, well updated and clean. Great place to stay while in Chicago, close to everything. Easy walking distance to all attractions. Nearby dining is delicious! The rooms are large, plenty of towels, mini fridge. Our room had a view. Room service daily was excellent.
One of the best hotels on the Riverwalk district. It is right along the river and very convenient. When I checked in, I got upgraded to a high floor because of my titanium status. When I checked in, the staff were helpful and friendly and there was no wait. The room was large, the beds were comfortable and the view of the River from the hotel room window was great. Overall this is a very good hotel...

The hygiene was so-so; it seemed like the cleaning staff didn't pay much attention.
Wifi had some issue, without that everything was fine
Great stay, great breakfast and location.
Great location! Near Michigan Avenue (great place to shop) and pristine nearby restaurants.
Everything was perfect. Great view, checked me in early, comfy bed, great location, etc. Steve who works out front is especially lovely and helpful.
Great location in the city centre. Clean and spacious room with an amazing view (34th floor). Free Wi-Fi in the lobby and in the room only if part of the loyalty program.

Loved the experience! Everyone was extremely nice at the hotel, location is great too! Rooms are super clean and comfortable, great restaurants and MASSIVE fully stacked Gym on 4th floor. Definitely worth the money! Decent views from my room on 25th floor, elevator was super fast and food just to die for! Best salmon salad I’ve ever had.
I just stayed at this hotel for a conference. It was a nice hotel and the rooms were pleasant. I did want to give a shout-out to the ladies at the M Club. I visited during the day and at night for the appetizers. The ladies always welcomed me in and asked if they could help me with anything. I only got one lady’s name, Anna. But the ladies at dinner were wonderful too! Thanks for your great service
Great stays with friendly staff and nice lounge area. The location is super convenient if you are here for the convention. It’s a 5 mins walk to the convention center. The hotel has a great gym. Also they categorized elevator to lower floor and higher floor, so it’s quick to get on the elevator. The suite room has great view of the Chicago skylines . The living room area was big. The curtain inside...
Beautiful architecture. All of the front desk was very kind and welcoming. The hotel was right in the middle of everything we wanted to do (Georgia Aquarium, Coca Cola museum, and a couple of LGBT bars. We booked through my credit card travel portal and did notice people who booked directly were getting free room upgrades or free breakfast. The price for the night seemed fair for it being in downtown...
The hotel is nice and clean and in a great location. However the staff is quite unpleasant. From the front desk, to the bar staff, to the coffee shop staff. All seemed like it was an inconvenience to ask questions. I had a delivery come to the hotel for me and it was stolen and yet the hotel took no responsibility for it. Luckily the flower shop made it right. The one and only difference in service...

Very good and clean rooms. Amazing place to stAy and more than worth it.
Nice hotel at historic city center area, great service, will definitely stay here again for future trip
Perfect place to stay for a weekend in the city and great value for money. We had a queen room with two bathrooms which was very convenient. We booked a lake view, and it was stunning! The pool was crowded, so unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to use it.
The front desk staff were warm and friendly. They were very patient with me, even though my English isn't great, and used translation software to help. My room had a city view; while it wasn't a lake view, I could see the tall buildings outside. The room was spacious, and although the decor was a bit dated, it was exceptionally clean. You have to pick up bottled water yourself from the front desk....
Everything was fine, but when I returned to the hotel the second night, after taking a bath and using the bath towel, I found a pair of used old socks. They were neither mine nor my friend's. This made me feel extremely disgusted and uncomfortable. I am very concerned about the hygiene situation at Hilton. This is a problem that should not have occurred
Excellent environment, centrally located with convenient access to all attractions. The staff were exceptionally gentle and polite. If I visit again in the future, I will definitely choose this place again.

Very old facility, did nit meet the standards of a 5 star hote
The best thing of this hotel is th location. It is in the center of the one Chicago’s main avenue, with many stores, shopping, attractions nearby, etc.
We are on night two of our two night stay. The location of this hotel is truly prime—within easy walking distance to an abundance of food, entertainment, and nearby attractions, which is a major plus! The check-in staff, especially Than, was wonderful. While we were due a complimentary room upgrade, unfortunately none were open at the time. As a kind gesture, he instead provided us with two complimentary...
Lupe was amazing when making the reservation, a true gem. We stayed in a suite for 2 nights, and it was perfect. Room was not overdone and roomy, a bathroom for us and a bathroom for our girls. Corner suite was so fun for them to see the city from many views. Small mishap, we called the hotel before we left (2 hour drive and a time zone change) and talked to Brenda who said our room was ready so we...
FYI-Room service delivery fee is $8. Gratuity is automatically added but does not show up in the cart. It only shows up AFTER you pay, on the receipt. We ordered 3 milk and cookies and the final bill was $45 ($25 for the food item and rest on delivery, tax, automatic gratuity and extra tip)! The hotel itself is nice. Rooms, bathrooms and facilities are clean. Staff is courteous. Pool is beautiful...
We stayed here for one night with our 7 month old and we really enjoyed it! We had a great view on the 23rd floor and the employees are really kind and helpful. Breakfast buffet was crazy expensive but was honestly very good. My only complaint was our room was SO HOT, there was no way for us to turn the heat off so I was sweating lol. I stayed in room 1024 last weekend. I was in town for the Lake F3 Half Marathon. This was my first time staying here. I have stayed at the Hilton Suites around the corner many times. I thought that I would stay at the Westin this time. First, the hotel is in a nice part of town close to bus routes and the Red Line. The rooms are in need of a renovation. I’ve stayed at other Marriott properties the...
The rooms do not represent the Westin brand well. As someone who often stays at Marriott properties and looks forward to the Westin product this hotel falls short. It is my least Westin to stay at and that is because of the rooms. The hotel is dated and in need of renovation. I have stayed her many times and each room smells like it’s been dowsed in fragrant cleaners to get rid of smell. The carpets...
I visit this hotel several times a month for business, and it never ceases to impress me. I’d like to give a special shout-out to Candice at the front desk; her bright and friendly morning greetings always start my day on a high note. Whether staying on the city side or beach side, the views are stunning—I especially love the night view of modern skyscrapers and the early morning beach view. Service...
While in a great location, this is an old, dated hotel. The staff is great overall, but at times seemed overworked. My main issue is the “sewer” smell that permeates several rooms and floors. The first room we checked into (10th floor) was so awful We literally had to wait outside… When a housekeeping manager came up, she immediately smelled it, and said that she will take care of it and move us...
My stay at The Westin Chicago River North during the recent BRICs conference was exceptional and truly elevated the experience of attending a demanding professional event. We were pleasantly surprised to have our room upgraded and a late check-out added to our stay. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and had an amazing view. I had the best facial I've ever had at the Leaf Spa.
Was nice enough. Didn't "wow". Expected a sofa in room based on booking website, didn't get. Didn't get the free upgrade entitled associated with program we booked under. Hotel claimed they were full, not likely, as higher rooms could be be booked online that evening. Seems to be standard practice to deny this benefit by many chains participating in the program. Don't lie to us, just tell us...
I stayed last summer for a medical conference. Concierge Gail Walker reached out soon after I booked my stay to offer their services. They were very quick with responses, even calling me when email was too difficult to respond as I was busy working in the hospital. They asked my goals of the trip and anything I’d like to do. I let them know my fiancé was with me and that my partner deserved a romantic...
I expected a little more from a 4-star hotel. I’ve been to a good amount and I think Fairmont was the most disappointing of the bunch. When we first entered our room as went straight for the huge windows. It was a nice view overall, but then we found a sock behind the mini-bar. We let it go considering it was behind the bar/next to the couch. The location is great since it’s right near Millennium...
Clean, friendly check-in. By midnight we couldn’t handle the screaming child in an adjoining room. Front desk listened to recording for 2 seconds before promptly giving us a new room. We went from 32nd to 22nd floor tho. City view to partial view of MDaley Park. Hotel Restaurant was not equipped to handle their offered breakfast package. 2nd morning we opted to get ours “to go” since we couldn’t be...
I would recommend staying here. It was a great location, easy walk to the magnificent mile & Millennium Park. We used SpotHero find a very affordable covered parking with In-N-Out 24 access that was literally in the building attached to the hotel. Hotel staff was very nice. “Excellent location and very comfortable stay. The hotel was clean, the service was good, and the amenities were well maintained. One thing to note is a $30 daily fee that is charged whether you use the included services or not.”
I stayed for one night on Feb 15th and checked out the next day. Malcolm at the front desk was incredibly polite and courteous when assisting us, and our entire stay was a wonderful experience. Room is fine. Would not say luxury but fine. My gripe that spoiled my first 10 mins here was the toilet had not been flushed after the prior guest. Never in a million years would I expect that. Obviously not cleaned after the last guest checked out. Super unsanitary and makes me question the quality of the house keeping staff and the rest of my room. Are the sheets clean? Your guess is as good as mine...
The good: The location is great and has a few coffee shops within a few minutes walk. The parking garage is also half a block away and not a bad walk at all. The vibe upon entering was quite nice because of the grand lobby. The colors of the furniture were sort of all over the place. THE BAD: Our room had a corner wall that had coffee spilled on it. The caulk around the toilet base was brown. Although...
The room was bigger than expected and for two people with a two bed, it was very nice and comfortable. This review is strictly for the hotel, not the Afternoon Tea- which was lovely for the ambiance albeit a little overpriced. Anyone who believes the rooms are "dated" is NOT "getting it". This is THE DRAKE, a hotel of a bygone era of classic and impeccable tastes. Wallpaper, lion drawer pulls and a TUB you can actually SOAK IN?!?! Yes, please!!! I will admit a fridge and a microwave would be nice...

Fair for the price. Wonderful breakfast. You’re better off booking with breakfast than pay there.
Rooms look very dated and are relatively smaller. The TV system will remind you of early 2000's. There is no coffee maker in the room. Lobby is the best part of the hotel look and feel. Room hallways are very dark.
Great location to stay near Navy Pier but it is needing some updating. Rooms are in a little rough shape but bed was very comfortable. Also I always like having coffee in my room in the morning. You have to go down to the lobby to get your cup of joe to enjoy. We also had elevator noise in the room we were in. It was quite loud. All in all, just a building that needs a little love and $ to charge ...

We were a little hesitant about the food since the restaurante does not have such great reviews. However we were both very happy with the breakfast. The swimming pool was nice.
Just meh. Will not stay here again, unfortunately the Marriott courtyard was sold out during my stay so I had to choose this one. Excellent location, safe neighborhood. Love the staff. Rooms are clean and great. Our highlight was the breakfast every morning.

Great location, you can walk to many places. The room was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breaksfast was quite good.
The hotel's location is good, but the facilities are old. When I booked, it said free Wi-Fi was included, but there was no signal in the room at all. It prompted me to buy it for an additional $12.95 per day, which is so typically American. They claim it's a 4-star hotel, but it's not even as good as a new guesthouse in mainland China. Definitely not good value for money. Just stay here if you need...
Perhaps it was the off-season, but the price was great. The location is excellent, and the service was good. There's a big supermarket right across the street, which is super convenient. Plus, there are Japanese and Cantonese restaurants nearby that are delicious. If I come back, I'd definitely stay here again.
Relatively good location, within 10-15 minutes walking distance to a lot of good restaurants. Safe at night, about 10 minutes walk to red line. Service from staff were friendly, felt welcomed. Property rooms are dated, old carpet, stains on walls and dirt on bathroom floor. Bed and pillows were comfortable. I'd like to recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to stay in Chicago for a while. It's perfect, and the service is wonderful, all very nice and firendly. The location is very convenient, and the place itself is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable stay
We stayed at the Warwick Allerton during our Chicago visit. 2 adults and 6 children. The hotel was in a fantastic location on the magnificent mile, and a short walk to Navy Pier. The hotel was clean and staff gave us free bottled water. The only negative was paying $70 for parking. It was valet and we expected to pay a lot in the city but not having access to our car was a bummer!
The hotel’s best value lies in the location — 3 min to Starbucks Roastery, ~ 15/20 min walk to the magnificent mile, and close to subway stations. But lacking certain facilities which I consider necessary to ensure safety of solo travellers (access to different floors only by room keys, and a safe). Also the bed in the room was close to the door, so I could hear the elevator bells and people’s conversations...

I got a great room - temperature adjusted nicely with the wall unit, tv was fine, bathroom was super clean and the bed was sharp looking. Rooms were indeed somewhat small, but it was all that I needed after a busy day in Chicago. Everything here was great. I enjoyed my stay here and am anticipating returning in the future. Perfect!
We just did all the things and the Allegro was in the perfect spot. We arrived at Ogilvie and walked to the hotel. Let me preface this by saying I'm an engineer that values function over form. This hotel is in the theatre district so a collision isn't unexpected. The location was great, as I could walk everywhere. The check-in time was so tight that it was hard to wait. The US has so many unsanitary hotels, so it was generally clean. For the price in Chicago, where prices are high, I think this is excellent quality.
Very good quality bedding. Cleaning staffs did very well jobs. No hot water available for making tea. Shower water is not hot enough especially in cool days.
Very clean, comfortable bedding. In the busiest downtown area of Chicago, there are many hotel options, and the prices are high. This one is relatively cost-effective. I booked six nights in mid-May only one week in advance, with an average price of about 3,500 RMB per night (the price difference is large every night, it seems that there was an exhibition during this period, and the hotel rooms were...
It can be said that this is the most cost-effective hotel I have stayed in the United States. The hotel has an excellent location and the overall design is very French modern. I stayed in the same room for another week. A female staff member (of Asian descent) at the front desk asked to charge an extra 30 dollars per night (plus tax). First, it was not the peak season. Second, they charged more for the same room. I don't understand. Different attitudes of different staff members towards guests will affect the credibility of the hotel.
Facilities: Very good Hygiene: Very good Environment: Very good Service: Very good Overall, the service is very good. I am very happy staying here. The scenery of the hotel is also very good.
