I was visiting NO for a night and wanted to stay close to Bourbon St and yet be a little far from it. This hotel proved just right for my requirements. Given how the parking situation is there, I was lucky that they had a separate parking garage, although it was a 15-minute walk from the hotel. It was a little inconvenient after an 8-hr drive but I could sleep well thinking that the car is safe and that I would not have to move it elsewhere early in the morning. I really liked the look and feel of the hotel room. I would stay there again.

Location, Location, right in the French Quarter, easy walking distance to the street cars and the French Market. Beignets at café du monde a must.
It is obviously an older building but inside is well appointed and clean. Took us a few minutes to find our room so a small location map would be appreciated. Free limited safe parking a short 5 - 10 minute walk.

The hotel is in the best location close to everything the French Quarter has to offer. Super friendly staff. Very clean rooms and comfy beds. I would def stay again. The absolutely only thing I would change would be the toilet paper it’s harsh so bring your own.

The staff was amazing. The location was fabulous and the history of the location was fascinating.

I am in NOLA a lot for conferences and like being close, but not too close. This was perfect, safe, clean, so cute, and free parking. Will stay again for sure!!!!

Room 201 has an amazing view, and then there’s the equally amazing patisserie across the street.
Wake up, cross the street and get your breakfast treats and then sit on the balcony and enjoy. Location is also great for being within walking distance of EVERYTHING!

Lovely old hotel in the French Quarter. Booked ant the last minute in NYE due to travel delay. Our room was small but very clean, nicely furnished, and the balcony gave us a great view! Staff was very friendly and efficient—would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was quaint and cute. It is an old small hotel. Therefore, expectations should not be super high. Nonetheless, there's a little charm to the place. The room was a tad bit smaller than expected. Nonetheless, it was super clean. No mold, dirt, or grime. No signs of any type of bug. Came with items you would need. Except microwave. A microwave is available in the lobby, but only during business hours. That was not good. A microwave is needed mostly at night. Courtyard was also nice. Had several sitting areas. I rode the elevator everyday going up. It only accommodates 2 persons. Some may find this a bit intimidating. But I was cool with it. The stairs were more intimidating to me. The attendant for check-in Shuntrel was super! She went above and beyond for accommodations and was very thorough. The guy that handles parking was also a delight. The parking garage is a few blocks away. It is most accommodating for smaller vehicles. Very secure! Once you have been assigned a spot, you're good to come and go!
However, the checkout attendant with the purple hair, was not so nice. When I came out to load some items into my vehicle, she ran out hollering about the keys. I informed her that I was still loading. She continued on to state that I needed to inform her of checking out. I stated to her that I would do so at 12. When I came to check out, she went on about it again. Seriously, I am 50 years old! Do you really think that this melanated female has never traveled before. Not cool!

There is no security on this property. I wouldn't advise children here. But then again I wouldn't advise children for the French quarter at all. Some may be concerned about homeless people. But homeless people are everywhere you go. Some cleaner than you! But the homeless were not a concern to me. They didn't bother anyone.
But other than that one, the hotel was a cool spot to stay. I would say that this hotel is suited moreso for couples...

Lovely staff, we were able to check in early which was great as we were only in New Orleans for 1 night.

Old Stale fries and raw meat on my sandwhiches. I have been going to Verdi Mart for years and I must say it has Been decreasing in the quality of there food. They have always had horrific customer services but the food made up for what was lacked. I can’t believe Ms Tasha the manager on duty this morning had the nerve to tell me “it’s nothing she can do about.” Like just take and be grateful attitude. I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. I WILL LET ANY AND EVERYONE KNOW THE BAD EXPERIENCE THAT I HAVE ENCOUNTERED AND THE WASTE OF 40.00 on food that had to be thrown away.

This place doesn't look like much, but there are delicious sandwiches and food hidden within. Deep within, like walk all the way to the back and order at the counter. Then you go to the front when you have your food to pay.

This mini mart/deli serves up a mean sandwich 24/7. We went with the $14 All that Jazz sandwich and it was all that. It's big enough to satisfy 2 drunks at the end of the night, but I'm not sure how the math works during day time. CASH ONLY

Best Po'boy I have ever had. The place ain't much to look at, but the food is delicious! Huge sandwiches, great prices for what you get.
27.11.2017 Jessie
Philly steak and cheese best I've ever had!!! Perfect amount of cheese, peppers and onions cooked to perfection, and no grease! Delivery is fast, price is on point...5 stars from Florida!
13.10.2017 Lilibeth
Loved the food and customer service! They have a variety of sandwiches and meats. The mac n cheese is just right! The place is small and can only have a few people in the store at a time. It's essentially a mini-mart in the front and food in the back. Hallways are narrow and you need to be careful not to bump anything. Parking is hard to find. They accept cash only but have an ATM and it's open 24hrs.

I used to detest bloody marys until i had one at Coop's place. Delicious! and the food?! Fantastic. The smoked rabbit jambalaya won my heart. The red beans and rice is chock full of flavour and the staff are kind and sweet as sugar. Definitely a go to place for flavourful food that won't let you down.

Great Cajun chicken and jambalaya. The pork chops with rice and beans was good as well. My wife loved the lamb chops. We had to sit at the bar. The place was full so their were no tables. After over an hour sitting on wooden high chairs it was time to leave.

This is, literally, where the locals go. It was recommended by several locals to us from the hotel to our tour guides. The piece of fried chicken I had was a bit dry (it was probably the joint with more bone and less meat). But hubby had a great meaty piece. Loved the crust with a kick.

It's also the best jambalaya you're going to have in town, with rabbit sausage. They also have a vegetarian options, so don't miss out.

Wait on sidewalk was a little long but some great food to wait for. Would have 5 stars but some of the green beans were somewhat cold, although they had great flavor.

Chicken sandwich doesn’t come with any sides but a full breast of chicken made the sandwich worth it.

Blackened Red Fish was excellent. Gumbo was awesome. Just watch out for the crawfish shells. Caught me off guard when I chomped down.

Note to manager. Should be making some more money serving drinks to those waiting. NOLA lets people have drinks outside of establishments, and we, along with several others walked across the street to get drinks because no one was allowed inside your place that was waiting.

A.MAZ.ING! Best gumbo in the French Quarter. Overstuffed Po' Boys are perfect. Everything is just damn good, wait staff and bartenders are friendly and don't mind chatting. A place for locals and out-of-towners. Expect a line at dinner and after since seating (like most places on Decatur) is limited. But do not despair, the line moves quickly and it is *well*worth* the wait. Food service at the bar is accepted and is fast and same menu as table seating. Best time to go: ALL DAY!

Food is delicious and Bobby is the one to see. He provides great ideas for what you would like to have. Don't cheat yourself by not trying the food and venturing out of your comfort zone.

DONT COME IN AND LEAVE. YOU'LL REGRET IT. MUCH BETTER THAN THE RUBY SLIPPER. Bobby was our waiter, very informative and helpful. Stop by and say hello. Leave satisfied.

Went there for breakfast and it was very busy! In fact, the place was packed. It's location is perfect across from the park where artists thrive and sell their art. Okay, on to the food...it was good but different in a good way. For example, the corned beef hash is not the old school hash I am used to (out of the can) but chopped in tidbits with seasoned potatoes. The dish was excellent and they serve the most perfectly poached eggs I have ever seen. The coffee is not very robust and the mimosa was more champagne with a "shot" of juice. We had to ask for more juice. Our friends ordered "The Screamer" which is a tea concoction with various teas and grain alcohol. A very dangerous drink whereby you can't taste any of the alcohol...yikes, but delish!. A nice place, but due to it's busy-ness you well not get the old charm French Quarter friendliness that we have experienced from other "joints:"
19.10.2017 Sally
We were greated with a warm welcome from the server. They were really accommodating with us and our baby stroller. We had their seafood egg Benedict and BBQ ribs as well as the gumbo. The Benedict was good but it was a bit pricey. The ribs barely had any meat but otherwise tasty. The gumbo was salty just like any other gumbo I guess. Pricing wise is average in the area but to us from out of town, it came quite a shock. It was good to try though.
25.09.2017 Filipa
Even though it is smack off Jackson Square and in the Quarter it is homey, comfortable and easy. Not sure there is a "hype" about this place but the place, like some comments suggest. Like I said it is homey, simple food cooked well. We came in for breakfast and a late lunch and the experience was consistently great. Menu is small and very uncomplicated. Highly recommended the cajun breakfast potatoes as a side and the seafood is legit.
