Excellent hotel. It’s in a great place, it’s very clean and the breakfast is fab. Would definitely go back to this hotel

Nice location and nice staff. However the breakfast is really disappointing, only muffins and cold bagels, not continental breakfast.

The hotel has a good location, just a few minutes' walk from the 23rd Street subway station, and about a 10-minute walk to the High Line Park. As is typical for older hotels, the rooms are small; there's no gym, breakfast is extremely basic, and the rooms only have a bed and a chair—not even a coffee machine. But that was to be expected.

Room is great, slightly dated but clean, comfortable, and (by NYC standards) quite large! Appreciated the mini fridge in the room, it’s useful for storing cold drinks. The staff were warm and polite, and helped me extend my stay a night.

The location is perfect, close to 3 metro lines. The room is big and the workers are kind. I will choose the hotel again when I visit New York next time.

Have a great stays here. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is big enough for 2 persons and it was very clean.

Great location, service, and spacious room.
The bagels and muffins are delicious for breakfast.
Though a little bit old but still recommend to stay here if traveling in NYC.

A cool little place. Very New York city quick bite style. Pancakes were great. It's a small narrow place and it's always full. It's very cosy and you're close to everyone. The workers seem to be in the griddle non stop. Prices are very reasonable but it's not a place where you sit down and chill - you sit down, you order, you eat, you leave. It's hard to notice as it very narrow but it is where the map says it is so look closer.

A cup of strong dark coffee for free with breakfast! Can't beat that. Johnny, the owner is a great guy: very hospitable and welcoming. I had the King Kong breakfast which is French-toasted hoagie with eggs bacon and bananas. So good! There is very limited seating though, so be prepared to wait (but it's worth it).

Absolutely awful ! Waited for ever only to end up with poor quality food and terrible service. Only a ‘chef’ and one other person there and you pretty much have to sit at the bar and wait to get food. 2 hours and the worst bacon and egg we have had in a long time. The staff are ignorant and they serve there take away food ahead of there customers in house.
Worst part was that the ‘chef’ clearly does not understand basic food hygiene as he was not only touching uncooked meat products but cutting them with the same knife he used to cut up his bread, sandwiches the had made etc. Never washed his hands once the whole time we were there despite touching raw eggs and raw meat.
Avoid this place and ignor the reviews which say it’s good, it isn’t !

A tiny little spot. Food was good. This place can only hold about 12 people. When we got there had to wait outside. It was worth it though.

This place is the real diner deal. Tiny, but excellent. Delicious pancakes and food. Crowded on weekends.
