My stay at YOTEL Downtown Manhattan was extremely disappointing. The room was incredibly small—more like a box than a hotel room. Throughout the night, doors were constantly banging, making it impossible to sleep. Either the soundproofing is terrible or guests simply have no consideration.
I tried to cancel immediately after seeing the room, but the hotel refused. I also didn’t receive the view I specifically paid for, which was very frustrating.
I had an extra night in New York and chose the Holiday Inn instead—what a difference. It was easily ten times better, with a comfortable room, peace and quiet, and great views of New York.
My advice: avoid YOTEL and stay literally anywhere else.
Would definitely come back here.
